I attended this training session through work. The session was a cheaper/ weaker version of other leadership training I have been on, particularly in relation to the “colours”. The guy in charge was very patronising which was off putting. The theory was interesting but sadly wasn’t translated into practical advice which could actually improve our team. I felt this was a “tick box” exercise by the employer which could have been so much more useful.

In my 47 years of being taught, trained, advised and mentored I have never been more inspired, captivated and motivated to utilise the knowledge, science, tools and techniques that were being passed on to myself and the team i work with. I have just eaten my first frog and can honestly say that the last 2 days have been one of those moments in my life that will stay with me forever and the new knowledge and skills that I now have will undoubtedly be used in all walks of my life.

Having run my business for many years I always thought the most effective way was to be involved heavily in the work force and found it hard to release the reins. Karen @ Purple Story made me see my place in the company in a whole new light and that my leadership and organisation was what’s needed behind the scenes thus allowing my staff to do the wonderful jobs they are more than capable of doing. Karen worked closely with each individual highlighting their strengths and weakness allowing job roll changes and training to be given making them and my work force so much stronger and happier place. Its easy to fall in the trap that you know your company and employees but a fresh outlook and impartial pair of eyes will 100% grow your business mindset, outlook, workforce and moral. Karen Is a wonderful speaker who knows how to engage even the most challenging audience. I love that she can bring to question the opinions of people that have the most fixed mindsets and get them thinking outside the box.
