My fourth sailing trip with pure sailing, and I hope not the last. Fantastic boats fitted out with effective tech for safety and secure navigation. Excellent skippers who become friends. If you’ve not tried it, then take the step. Great for young and old. You won’t be disappointed. Have an amazing holiday 🔥

Chartered a fantastic catamaran for a week from Athens and had a fabulous week sailing. Boat surpassed expectations and Nikos was outstanding. Service at check in and departure was faultless. All 8 of us aged 12-52 had a wonderful holiday and hope to return.

We rented for a week an oceanis 48 very good and comfortable boat and lots of ropes , big fenders , 100 meters of chain.
Very easy check in and check out , wonderful support from Nikos.
I would definitely use them again.

We have bareboat many yachts over the years however we had never experienced such an unfriendly checkin with Puresailing who engage a third party Skiathos Sailing. We were not advised of this when booking the yacht through HELM.
We did take the opportunity to checkin with Puresailing prior to 5pm on our first day. This was an uncomfortable experience, questioning our RYA ICC “what is this?” and being advised the €350 damage waiver fee has no formal documentation “it’s a fee”.
We then had the most horrible experience following checking in and having boarded the yacht at our official 5pm slot.
We did received permission from the staff already on the yacht to board, unload our food shopping and luggage.
Vassilis Sarris (Skiathos Sailing) then turned up at 5:15pm ranting we should not be on the yacht and all crew being told to get off the yacht, reciting damage the had been unrecognised by previous customers.
We were left feeling like rats, scurrying over the vessel.
WHAT A HORRIBLE START TO OUR HOLIDAY, having paid £5000+ Hiring the yacht (Captain George) for the week.

Our crew were sent to the local bar, out of the sun / heat until Skiathos Sailing had explained the yacht functions, whilst carrying out repairs in our time.

Also the security deposit €750 should not have been made against my credit card, merely holding only. This had been taken from my card a week later. As a consequence, I am now out of pocket with the charges associated with the transaction / conversion € to £.

Equally prior to return of the yacht, we were pressured to return it at least 1 hour earlier, so as to secure the location of the yacht desired by Skiathos Sailing.
Again handing back the yacht was most uncomfortable, inspecting for any signs of damage, coming across as though we were guilty until proven innocent.
The return documentation is gear towards damage / fee generation having 50% of the single page dedicated for such.

Our feedback currently sits with HELM for response & improvement.
PLEASE BE WARNED. I’ve experienced far better customer focused organisations out there.

Poorly mantained boats, they are repairing theor boats on the expense of the people that charter them. I took a Sun Odissey 519 from them and in the first day, the first anchor the windlass broke and they charged it from my deposit without any explenation, they wrote by hand on a piece of paper that they spend 1750eur for the repair, no invoice, no nothing to justify it. After this they gave me a Oceanis 45 to replace the first boat and when my week finnished, they found some water in the engine compartiment that their engineer said that was comming from the outside shower and the boss came to me saing that I used the engine 150% and broke it. It's a petty that this things happen and that there are pirates steeling from the people that just want to have a good sailing time. I will not let the situation like this and will pursue it through the propper legal chanels. I strongly recomand to avoid this company!!!

I have sailed twice on boats from Puresailing: in October 2017 on an Oceanis 48 as crew and in May 2018 as skipper of one of the 2 Oceanis 45s. I have to say these occasions were amongst the most enjoyable sailing experiences I have ever had. The boats were immaculate and extremely comfortable. The base staff were extremely helpful, nothing was a problem and they addressed every question or request diligently and with a smile. As a skipper, I had a lot of interactions with several employees and the manager of Puresailing and at the end of the last 2 weeks they had become friends. In addition to the faultless service, the boats are magnificent and very well kept. Also very well equipped (solar panels, fixed gangway - no plank - freezer for that important G&T at the end of the day!) The Oceanis 45 and 48 are supremely comfortable for the kind of coastal sailing we did between Skiathos and Athens via the Cyclades and around the beautiful Northern Sporades and the Gulf of Volos. Quiet anchorages and interesting and picturesque ports with plenty of choice of venues for dinner and drinks. Plus the magical locations of Mamma Mia on Skopelos and Skiathos made the 2 trips unforgettable for skipper and guests alike. I will be back next year! Thanks to Frank and his team for their indefatigable assistance and friendly attitude.

Recently sailed from Skiathos around the Islands and to the mainland. We were on Daedalus, an Oceanic 45, and it was brilliant. Superb boat, lots of space, seriously good sailing boat - we made 8 knots in a 12 knot wind!

Absolutely awesome stuff!! Booked it woth friends for my birthday and we had amazing time! Boats absolutely gorgeous! Great condition! Everything on time and for very reasonable price! Back next year for sure!

This was my first skippering experience and I'm very glad that happened with PureSailing. The boat was in perfect condition and included everything necessary. Most helpful staff I've seen in several years, big thank you folks. Would recommend this company to all my friends, no doubt.

Spent an incredible week sailing around the Sporades islands with PureSailing.
Everything was effortless from the booking process to the checking in and out.
Really friendly service and very welcoming. Staff had great local knowledge, and fabulous recommendations for places to eat etc.
Would absolutely recommend.

I am not much of a skipper so I was looking for a company that can help me with an experienced skipper and at the same time provide me with a quality boat to sail around the Greek islands. Puresailing did exactly that. They were friendly and helpful, the yacht was fantastic(!)... we had some great holidays and I am looking forward to do this again!

Excellent service, good boats, beatifull scenery. The family vacations of 2016 will be remembered as one of the best ever.
