Screw this company selling garbage. Tried to write a review and they said i had inappropriate language at the word "company" lol

Garbage. Ordered something a few months ago. The toy can charge for an hour an not have one minute of life. The last thing I ordered from a consultant, went missing in transit. Too expensive to receive garbage. Find a different toy From a trusted company.This crap is overpriced and overhyped.

I think a lot of people on here have a lot of things wrong. 1st, PR DOES have a return policy.. for items that are damaged or defective. Must be returned within 30 days of the date of invoice. NO, you can’t use products & decide it’s not the right one and leave the consultant stuck with an open used bottle of something she can’t sell. You MIGHT have a consultant who will work with you as I have in the past and do a trade or discount on a different one. I would never leave my customer just unhappy but, she’s not obligated to do so. These are bedroom toys and accessories and should have a strict return policy.
2nd just as every product in the world thats being sold, yes the consultant buys at various discount levels but they pay the same shipping fees as they charge and they’re asking for a recoup from what they prepaid for you to have it at the party rather than order it. You can ask your consultant how you can earn free shipping. She may have a policy that would enable to you receive that a so so. BUT.. she’s getting her money back from your purchase. why is she wrong?
3) coupons are individualized and not to be used with just anyone. Why should I have to take a coupon someone else made up for their own business. If it’s directly from the company, feel free to order from the website and if your trying to “support a consultant”, order off of her website and use the coupon code given to you.
4) If you have allergies, ask your consultant for a pdf about any Allergies associated with products! All you have to do is ask! I will say this.. your lucky if you can even understand any of the ingredients in sex stores not to mention what they mean. Do your research, I’ve been vids on animal feces and urine detected. Gross!
Last) consultants go through a lot of training continuously throughout the year on all subjects such as sexual health and wellness. So YES.. they r sexual health and wellness educators.
All that being said, this is a business like any other but try to build a relationship with your consultant so she gets to know you and things you like and don’t like, allergies you have or new products huh might like, Discounts you may qualify for, or anything else your bitter about. Smile ladies 😍

My husband is a legitimate sex therapist and the fact that they style their consultants as educators is offensive.
Almost every single cream and lotion and lube has fragrance in it, which is a one-way ticket for me to get a yeast infection or a rash.
Their toys seem average but with names that are frankly tacky. Their catalog reads like a bad romance novel. I’ll stick with my local, feminist sex toy shop.

My experience with Pure Romance was extremely horrible. I made a purchase of $407 with my consultant (Toni Hurst) who does her parties out of South Carolina. I never received any information in regards to all sales being final. My party was held on 24 January, I didn’t receive my shipment until today (11 February). I tried reaching out to her, she never replied. I tried calling her today, to see if she would at least explain to me something...I had to call and talk to the manager (Jenny), who was very good in explaining the entire process to me. Toni messaged me on Facebook after numerous attempts in my calling and told me this:

“ Sorry been taking care of my son. The products were not shipped late. We have 2 weeks to get your products to u. They attempted to deliver to u on feb 4th and left a notice. I also explained an item went on back order which happens with direct sales so I kept u informed. All sales are final with our business. Thank u for your understanding.”

Had she explained that information to me, I would not be in such an uproar. She never sent me my receipt and never told me it took 2 weeks for shipment. The package shows it was paid for on the 3rd of February and should be a one day shipment, but it literally came in the mail today. So explain to me how it was to take one day to get to me but you contradict and said it should be here in two weeks.

If you are in the Columbia, South Carolina area...I beg you not to do business with Toni Hurst. She doesn’t explain anything to you, and if you tell her you want a refund she doesn’t reply to any emails. She is in my opinion very unprofessional and is not right for this business. Sorry such a long rant but much needed because I expected professionalism from her. DO NOT conduct business with Toni Hurst

I think it's ridiculous that they charge the $7 when they have the item on them. And if an item irritates your skin your just stuck with it as they don't accept returns.

About 2 weeks ago, I purchased some items online and paid for the products + taxes and $6.99 shipping and handling fees. If Pure Romance hadn't stopped sending me emails I could have gotten anywhere from 10-15% off my purchase. But unfortunately they deactivated my account. Realistically, I don't buy PR on a monthly basis or enough. Does that mean just because I don't shop there every month or every other month that they should deactivate my account? No. PR is definitely something I purchase IF I love the product and go through it fast enough. Let's be honest too. If I buy a toy, would I really need to buy more of those?? No. Aside from having my account deactivated. I was met with some unusual feelings about a PR party I attended.

When I went, the consultant had mentioned there would be a $8 convenience fee tackled on in addition to taxes and the product cost. I was very confused why I would be charged $8 more if she had products on hand. I mean if that's the case, I could have very well went home and bought my product, paid the $6.99 shipping plus taxes and then added my additional 10% coupon to make my total a lot cheaper than what I paid for at the party. I am all for supporting women and allowing them to walk always with profit, but tackling on $8 as a convenience fee seems very greedy to me. Consultants already get items at a fairly discounted rate and sell for full face value to profit cash...adding on the additional $8 charge to me is too much. I think after this experience, I will no longer support PR and will no longer purchase items from them. There should be an incentive to purchasing at a party! Like not paying the extra $8..because if that's the case, I could have very easily ordered the product myself at home and saved money.

To note: If you aren't the loudest one or funniest one at a party, your hostess will more than likely treat you like you don't exist. I think, regardless of how funny or how outgoing you are...a GOOD consultant will make everyone feel comfortable and let everyone feel included and have fun. That will result in people leaving happy and probably with items to take home. If not...why would I want to support that consultant??

I just want to put out there that if you have issues with a product or a consultant you can call Pure Romance corporate office. There friendly and helpful. Not all consultant no what there doing right away and need time to learn. I hope this helps. Thank you.

I went to a birthday party pure romance get together. The woman seemed nice and all. Presentation was OK. I purchased a few items and paid for shipping. Apparently the shipping was to HER house, not mine. She told me I would have my products in a few days and she would hand deliver them. I contacted her, we agreed on a date to meet for them and she did not reply and did not show up. She then messaged me telling me when SHE was available to bring it. Not only would she not bring it to me, she was fighting to leave it all with the hostess of the birthday party. First of all, these items are quite intimate to be giving to other people to see what I got. Second, she was very unprofessional after the sale. It was very clear all she wanted was the money. Third, she told me if I wanted, I could have my items...that I already paid shipping on... reshipped to me...if I paid MORE MONEY for shipping. What the hell you guys. Perhaps you should be more selective with who you allow to work fpr the company but I guess thats what happens with pyramid schemes. I say save your money and go to a nice shoppe instead.

I was on the market for panty vibrator with remote. Decided to purchase from local consultant the “box office” panty vibrator from Pure Romance. I was cautious because it’s expensive and you don’t really get to check it out before buying. So I took the plunge and spent $180 on it. Brought it home and wow it is loud. Most certainly would not be able to go to any function and give my partner control of the remote as the whole room would hear it vibrating. So I am very sadly disappointed to have trusted and believed the company would market something that loud and at that cost. I will be very skeptical purchasing other toys from
This company. I wish their was some form of guarantee or compensation for unhappy customers to keep them coming back.

I swear my consultant said they back all their products but I got scammed into a "pay your age" goodie bag. I was a little worried cuz I know spring chicken and I wanted to make sure if I was spending $42 I wouldn't get garbage. The consultant got to choose the products and assured me it would be a good deal.
So with shipping and everything and ended up being 50 some dollars because I'm 42. I pick this thing up and it's a little Bullet Vibrator... I decide I paid for it let's check it out and plug it in and charge it up as instructed. I turned it on its supposed to have like 10 or 15 speeds. I decided to click through the different speeds just to see what the stupid thing does. And I clicked through three speeds and it stops. The latest still on nobody's home doesn't do anything else ever again. I just spent $50 on a sperm shaped flashlight because the light on the button still lights up and that's all it does. Contacted my consultant she said she would contact the corporate office and see what they could do and she said she has never gotten a response. I will never buy from them again I don't have $50 to throw out the door

I am a Pure Romance consultant. Fairly new at it, but I saw a few reviews here that I wanted to address.
1. Generally we don't have co-ed parties for the comfort of the women customers, however, there are ways to work through this. You know your friends and whether they are comfortable. Your consultant can research party ideas and make it a fun and comfortable experience for your guests.
2. If you have issues getting your products ordered through a consultant, that is a consultant issue. Most consultants have integrity and want you to have the best party and product experience. Please reach out to another consultant or the company to provide more guidance once you have exhausted efforts with yours. There is a 30/60 day return policy, so please check your products when you receive them and report as soon as there is an issue.
3. As of this date, there is a flat $7 shipping fee added to all orders regardless of size. Although, some consultants may wave this on things they have in stock or discontinued items.
4. As a host, communicate with your consultant regarding party planning the event and after. Make sure your in the same page about the group, theme and service tip your guests after. This is a fun and educational opportunity.

Alexandria Lopez was my consultant, very terrible to find out she was trying to get my husband to buy some of her products by trying also trying to have sex with him for free, I'm really disappointed on what this girl represents for your company. Please check on this consultant if she did this with my husband who knows with how many more.

5 stars and three snaps for Pure Romance by Vonnie. This company is awesome and they lead the way with the best bath, massage and bedroom accessories. Before diving into this business I had no clue of how to spice up my life, a relationship.....now I am living and working on my Ooooos. Let’s talk if you want to add some spice to your life xoxoxo 💋

Extremely angry about my whole experience with pure romance and my party host. The host told us everything she was showing she had with her. I bought and item and then i was told it will be shipped to me after my car had been charged. I was also charged $7 for handling and well over 8% tax in a non taxed state and was not informed of any of the extra chargers before purchasing. The host told me that it would be shipped to me in a black discrete box. Over two weeks later I received my product and it came in a bag. The website and the host stated that all products come partially charged. Mine had no charge and I had to leave it plugged in for over an hour to get it to turn on. Also, it did not come with directions or any information. Extremely disappointed with my whole purchase. When you’re spending $100 on something you would think it would come in better shape and better packaging. I will not be attending any more pure romance events. They are sales motivated and do not seem to care about their customers at all.

I purchased the Roll With It in November of 2018 to use on my lower back when traveling because it is small and easily packed. I actually put it away and forgot about it until August of this year when I brought it out for a trip. I tried to charge it, but it is not working. I guess I am out of luck because there is only a 60-day warranty. The rep I spoke with suggested I buy another one. I don't think so.

I don't think its right that pure romance does not have couple parties its not like anyone knows what the other person buys. How can a guy get pick items out for his partner without seen the items in person. I would rather go to the store and buy stuff.

I dont even know why guys can't sell or have parties.

Very disappointed with "O" cream..Rather buy yourself a tube of Deep Heat cream..same sensation and less than half the price with more product!!!

I bought a toy that won’t work and they won’t replace or refund it

I went to a party on march 22nd it was a pure romance party the representative was ashley saviano she didnt have any of our products with her at the party it is now may 4th and I still didnt get my stuff I advise any and everybody to stay away from this company I want my money back asap I WILL NVR GO TO A PURE ROMANCE PARTY EVER AGAIN THR FIRST IMPRESSION WAS AWFUL WORST COMPANY EVER AND THE WORST PARTY REP ASHLEY SAVIANO EVER BUYER BEWARE HEED MY WARNING DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU!!!!!!!!!

Myself and another girl who attended the party I was hosting were missing things from our order. We were told by our pure romance lady they were sent after wards. It's been well over a year since my party and we still haven't recieved our items.
