Everyone was so nice to work with. They give you all the information you need on specific breeds and answer all your questions in a timely fashion. Once you have made your choice and reserved your kitten, they send you videos each week of your baby. The hardest part is waiting until your kitten is ready to travel to you. They are not going to release your baby until they are ready. Everything they do is for the health and well-being of the kitten. In the end you will receive a happy, healthy kitten .

So I know reviews here are up and down but my experience has been amazing!!! From Customer service, the breeders I went with Domnika (Mainecoon XLT) and the delivery nanny Nelle was incredible!!! She made sure my baby was clean, healthy and safe for his travel to me if I decide to get another down the road I will definitely go through (PureBredKitties.com)

Not only was there clear communication, everyone involved in the process was so kind and patient. I plan on getting another kitten from here after I move. This is great.

I have received my second kitty from Purebred Kitties and I could not be happier with both of my fur babies and the excellent care and service provided by Purebred! I received my first kitten 1 year ago, a BEAUTIFUL Persian female! I wanted a little brother for her so I got a gorgeous male British Longhair. Both kittens arrived in perfect condition and right on time. I used the car delivery service with a nanny and the delivery was right down to the minute! And the nanny was wonderful! In fact, everyone I dealt with at Purebred was so friendly and helpful. The kittens are healthy and obviously had been well cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend Purebred to anyone looking to adopt a healthy, beautiful, well cared for kitten. Purebred was easy to deal with and very responsive to my phone calls and questions. If ever I decide to adopt more kittens, it will definitely be through Purebred Kitties!

The kitten arrived with an upper respiratory infection. I had to take her to a vet ER within the first 72 hours of having her. Considering upper respiratory infections can be deadly for kittens, I was extremely upset to see that upper respiratory infections are not “covered” by this website as specified in the contract they force you to sign before receiving the kitten. Very alarming and scary for the wellbeing of the animals. The kitten also showed up with urine all over her. Most likely from the travels. I had asked the “travel nanny” that was responsible for bringing the kitten to me if he had actually fed the poor kitten or given her any water. He claimed he did but the kitty was in pretty rough shape when I got her into my home. She drank water and ate food as if she was starved. The poor conditions are what obviously caused the upper respiratory infection. Only giving two stars because I was thankfully able to quickly recognize that the kitten was sick and got her proper veterinary care. At this point, I’m just grateful this whole experience did not result in a tragic and traumatizing ending for my family and myself.

I initially wrote Purebred Kitties (“PBK”) a glowing review (now removed), but after several health issues have come up over the course of 6 months of ownership, and an exorbitant amount of veterinary costs with no resolution in sight, I must revise and share my updated experience with this company.
I purchased Toros (renamed “Gremlin”), a black Maine Coon boy, earlier this year in March. Gremlin was initially advertised as being in my area (Arizona), which I found convenient. After placing my deposit however, I was told by Kim that Gremlin was in Delaware, and I needed to arrange for his travel via cargo or by flight nanny. I opted for cargo, as I wasn’t anticipating the additional expense, but then PBK told me that the airlines refused to deliver Gremlin via cargo due to excessive heat (which I understood). PBK then arranged for a flight nanny to deliver Gremlin to me, at no additional cost, which I thought was a sign of good faith from PBK. We scheduled a pickup at PHX Sky Harbor airport for April 3rd.
Another buyer left a review stating the flight nanny was odd, and I wholeheartedly agree. My flight nanny seemed stressed, was unkept, and we had a language barrier as she did not speak much English. Upon meeting me, she immediately pulled Gremlin out of a tiny black duffle bag and put him into my arms. That’s when I noticed that this little guy STUNK. He was covered in his own liquid feces. I was willing to let this slide initially, trying to be understanding of the fact that this cat just traveled a long distance, and sometimes shit happens, but then came the paperwork: A Ukrainian passport, and a veterinarian’s evaluation clearing him for travel, also in Ukrainian. This means that Gremlin didn't originate from Delaware, and no documentation has been provided to prove that he was evaluated by a United States veterinarian, prior to my ownership. Fortunately, I had scheduled a vet visit same day, and I took Gremlin there directly from the airport.
Initial findings included being underweight (muscular loss), explosive diarrhea, four (4) deciduous teeth that needed to be removed, all vaccinations aside from rabies needed to be administered, and Gremlin was still intact when he was supposed to come home neutered. In April, I did alert PBK in that Gremlin was still intact, despite being represented as neutered, and there has been no resolution to this issue. I also alerted them to his explosive diarrhea, which they claimed was due to stress from travel (it’s not lol).
To date, Gremlin has not had a single solid shit in his life and has not maintained a healthy weight (coming up on 1 year old). I’m doing everything that I can to care for him, working with internal vet specialists, but I shouldn’t have to be doing this, and he shouldn’t be suffering like this. He is a very good boy, so sweet and intelligent, but this is the kind of cat that requires long-term specialized care. The kind of cat that you get for FREE. What I was first willing to write off as gross oversights on PBK’s end, has now left me seriously concerned about the health and sourcing of the cats being sold through this company. Once the sale was closed, PBK disappeared.
In hindsight, I should have read the reviews here prior to purchasing. Additionally, I noticed that under the cat’s ‘My Info’ section, if the Registration does not state ‘TICA’ and states ‘WCF’ or some other association, the cat is likely not originally from the US. Stay safe out there.

Edit 10/2/26: PBK was quick to publicly respond. Simultaneously, they tried to flag this review for removal. The request was reviewed by Trustpilot and denied.

They made this process super easy for us! Super responsive, very easy to talk too, very informative about the entire process, and we had no troubles or doubts throughout the whole thing. Definitely recommend adopting your first (or second or third lol) friend from PureBred!

The website’s pictures, videos, information about DOB, weight, even kitty parent data is helpful to inform our decision about which potential pet was a good match for us. There’s also a section about the cat’s demeanor and personality. Once selected, our rep walked us through kitten delivery and next steps. After we placed our deposit we received special videos and photo updates which we truly appreciated. Finally we received info to help us prepare for our new baby’s arrival with travel updates. The text notifications helped to relieve any anxieties. After delivery we took the opportunity to text a couple questions to our rep who was responsive and helpful. Overall we had a great experience. We love our kitten who’s a purrfect addition to our family.

Everything went well! Communications was clear and consistent. Kitten is amazing!

My kitty was beyond expectations. He was so friendly I couldn’t believe it. Beverly was my contact and she was very responsive. Based on this experience, I would adopt again!!!

Five stars from me! Communication has been amazing since day one. I just got my kitten today he looks healthy and well taken care of. I will definitely be back to buy another in the future. The staff and delivery service was amazing. They do an awesome job at keeping you updated every step of the way.

This company is a fraud and scammers. I was promised a healthy kitten. After asking questions for about 20 mins about how they prove they are not a scam or fraudulent I decided to adopt. I picked up an emaciated, dehydrated, with explosive diarrhea. I raced the kitten to my vet where they saved her. The vet said she was very sick and may pass away. The kitten also has a 3rd grade heart murmur which is pretty bad. This is not what I expected especially for being so expensive. My credit card company reimbursed me because of the fraudulent behavior of the company if it’s even a company. Do not adopt from here. I see a class action lawsuit in the near future. Company is not registered with the Better Business Bureau. Should have looked at that first. The kittens picture was also listed on several other sites for much less money. When I asked why that was their response was they just look alike. Took the photos to a photographer and was confirmed it was the exact same kitten. Fraudulent!

I highly recommend adopting your kitten from here. Everyone was so kind and helpful with answering any questions I had and worked with me. Thank you to everyone who helped me through this process and thank you to her breeder as the kitten is very socialized and sweet and is in perfect health. I couldn’t be happier!

I started to see a lot of scam stuff about sites but i did it anyways and it was legit. My main coon arrived at the airport and i went to go pick it up and shes been fine. Its been a year now.

Fell in love with my kitten at first sight. Took some time to decide the love was greater than the expense. I viewed her every day and finally after a second call with purebred I committed. She is delight at four months old. She adapted to our home easily and is a joy!

Communication is the only thing that I think could have been better, the buying process and customer service response times were great but almost always required me to reach out first. They gave us a little care package and explained all the paperwork. Our Maine Coon came fully potty trained and he is the sweetest.

Got 2 kitties from purebred kitties! My first choice was a beautiful Oriental named Ramses. He originated from Dream Wings oriental cattery in Ukraine. I had him fly with a flight nanny and meet me at a local airport- James, the flight nanny, was super great with communication and sent pictures along the way. While waiting for Ramses to be old enough to travel I recieved weekly update videos, and as much as I pestered customer support (which was a lot- sorry- I'm impatient) everyone was so sweet to me. I also purchased a maine coon girl, Penelope, and had a very similar expierence. Both kitties have adapted well into our home within about a week and seem well socialized. My vet cleared them as being healthy (Penelope had pink-eye, but I think that could have been from her having an accident on her first night with us), both were spay/neutered and came with a vet clearance sheet as well as a passport will all documented vaccinations and treatments. If I had room for more kitties, I would 100% purchase from purebredkitties again. While I do find that prices are higher than I would have liked, I enjoyed not having to do any logostic work or vaccination work and got the exact kitties I wanted. Worth EVERY penny.
