We had our solar upgrade and smart battery fitted today. The two engineers arrived at the designated time and started working after they were shown where everything was. They did not stop and they were tidying up as they went along. I have only good things to say about this company from the representative who came initially to the girls in the office. I don’t find I agree with the all the reviews but in this company’s cast they are 5 STAR ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My 16 PV panels were first installed in October 2011 and at the time of purchase I was warned by the salesman that the life expectancy of the inverter was around 10 years and that as it got closer to 10 years its performance would drop off. Therefore, when your area sales manager came to carry out a system health check it was no surprise to me to learn that the panels were not producing the optimum electricity. The manager arrived on time, was polite, and helpful whilst explaining the situation to me. He gave me the options for upgrading but was not pushy.
I opted for the solar edge upgrade that consisted of 16 power optimisers, cabling joint upgrades a solar edge inverter, panel washing and access to the wireless monitoring.
Kiele from the New Age Innovation office rang me two days prior to the scheduled appointment to ask if the installation could be carried out a day earlier than planned. This was not a problem for me. The team of three arrived on time and the foreman Josh explained to me what they would be doing and he, Joe and Aron just got stuck into the work with no fuss or bother. The total upgrade was carried out in less than two hours with minimum disruption to me and my wife. Josh also installed the Solar Edge software for me on my computer. They left the site clean and tidy taking all empty boxes and packaging with them.
The upgraded system was installed 13 days following the visit of the sales manager.
I had regarded this upgrade as partly essential due to the age of the inverter and partly as an investment for the future. It is hoped that the increase in system performance will achieve a good return for me on the investment. Time will tell!

We were impressed with the straightforward way in which we were given information. During the initial contact our concerns were addressed and we were promised that they would be relayed to the technician who would undertake the work. He arrived on time and indicated he understood our requirements. he was courteous and helpful The actual installation was completed without incident and everything left tidy and an explanation given about how to access information.

New Age Innovation are great! I have no commercial link with them at all, and have used them twice, both times entirely satisfactorily. The service is personal and engaged. I’ve dealt with Harry and Kylie throughout – and had Lee and Lee recently as installing electricians. I live in a 20 year old 5 bedroom house in Devon.

Our first experience of New Age was a solar PV inverter upgrade. We had had a 12 panel installation done 10 years (2011) previously by Solatricity who, unfortunately, went out of business. New Age approached us about upgrading the inverter and also rewiring the PV panels from series to parallel. John did a site visit and gave us info on job. That was 2019. The installation was very professional; quick and tidy. Absolutely no problem and a very good /fair price for the work done. Harry had ‘sold’ us the installation upgrade and revision, and we were entirely satisfied with his support and attention. Overall, we think the system is now more efficient than it had been previously. We’re fortunate to benefit from the FITT scheme – but solar installation is now a lot cheaper than what we paid originally in 2011.

This latest job (May/June 2021) was installation of 10.5kw (3x 3.5) Lux batteries and the Lux Monitor. The job itself proved tricky, but we’ve again had great support and great service throughout. We’ve never felt pressurised, and again feel we’ve had a very good and fair price for the work done. Harry knows a lot about all of this stuff but is not pushy as a salesman. He is reasoned, informed, and reasonable. The installation required a few visits from the electricians, but Lee/Lee were excellent – tidy, informed, and helpful; very easy to have around the house, and careful about their interactions with us as customers. Great job! They had to install some new, fairly heavy duty cabelling, but they did that with minimal fuss – for example lifting some slabs to ensure minimal surface mounting etc. We did have a bit of instability in the system initially, but that has been easily addressed and sorted. We had a bit of an issue with the overall capacity of the system, but that too was sorted out easily and with just a few visits which happened at planned and agreed times. All fairly straightforward, but simple things matter to customers. As existing customers, we didn’t even pay a penny until the installation was complete, working correctly, and we were fully content. It’s now very satisfying running our whole house from the sun, or from electricity supplied at v good rates by Octopus. The Lux monitor is very straightforward and tells us exactly what’s happening between house, batteries, and grid – we’re now using virtually no grid electricity (Spring/Summer 2021, so PV doing well).

There is just one (pretty minor) issue to watch out for – the batteries are installed in a ‘server type’ cabinet – the cabinet supplied was quite nice looking but a little small, so the three batteries are sitting vertically rather than horizontally (cabinet door wouldn’t close because of wiring configuration); but New Age are alert to that and I think may use a slightly deeper cabinet in future installations – worth just checking with them.

Finally Kylie, who I think looks after accounts, billing etc. I’ve had quite a few calls into New Age office, and when Harry’s not been about, Kylie has also proved consistently knowledgeable and helpful. She has been proactive in her customer support, with several unsolicited calls when there were minor ‘bumps’ in the installation process.

So, would I recommend New Age Innovation? Of course – they’re great. Very trustworthy and reasonable in my view. If you’re thinking about solar power or batteries, get them to give you a quote – you’ll find they’re competitive, and I can personally recommend each and every member of the team we’ve had contact with. And just to be clear – I have no links with New Age other than as a customer; I’ve received no payment or inducement round this review; and the review itself was unsolicited.

Cheerful, polite team completed the modification work quickly and efficiently, keeping me informed as they progressed. Very happy with the procedure.

The rep was on time, gave us a clear understanding of the product and what to expect.

He left no mess and did as far as I can tell a good job.
I got a phone call after the installation from a very cheerful lady to check if everything had gone well.
Overall I’m very happy with the experience.

Sales person appeared genuine so purchased batteries & solar panel upgrade (solar edge). Installation went smoothly. Left markings on timber stair string when installing new cable between fuseboard & loft. This will be masked when painted. Operatives did not wear over shoes or remove footwear when walking on carpet.

In an industry that regularly gets bad publicity. The Work carried out by New Age Innovation has been second to none, the engineers arrived early were straight into the work and finished early and left everything clean and tidy. From the initial contact with New Age Innovation through to completion Everything was clearly explained in plain language. I have no hesitation in recommending New Age Innovation to future customers

Professional job in horrendous weather.

A friendly team arrived at 09:00, were finished by 10:15 and did a neat job. My new solar power app was up and running by midday. Well done!

Customer help with planning the installation was excellent. All my questions were fully answered.
Installation was swift, effective, and extremely tidy with all boxes etc. taken away. The team doing the installation was very well organised and smartly dressed.
Monitoring software was up and running within 24 hours - the web based system is extremely effective and covers all bases of operation from panels -inverter - lux control-batteries. Wonderful. A key requirement for me.
New Age have been a pleasure to deal with.

I had been told I needed a new voltage optimiser, but decided to call New Age for a second opinion. I had dealt with them before and knew I could trust them. So, the engineers turned up and sure enough, the VO was working perfectly, they had come a long way on this wild goose chase but didn't seem to mind a bit. I am Glad I called New Age, it saved me a lot of money on something I didn't need.

We've just had the New Age Team to retrofit a SolarEdge inverter and optimisers. They carried out the job quickly and efficiently. Our panels are sparkling clean. Looking forward to seeing them perform! Thanks for a really good job and thanks to John who gave us the pros and cons of ungrading without a pushy sales pitch.

Had a recent solar panel upgrade by Solar Edge with a new inverter and added optimisers to all the solar panels, work carried out was excellent, crew turned as expected and were very efficient. All working and monitoring well on my IPad, No problems so far.

From the first contact with Jamie offering a free system check, the visit from Andy who was extremely knowledgeable about the benefits of upgrading to solar edge, the 3 engineers who arrived on time and did an excellent job and contact with Kiele in the office over the phone i could not fault the service i have recieved.

I have had a terrible experience with a previous company who installed my solar panels there was no aftercare but luckily they worked, we then used another company to install a few batteries and again the aftercare was shocking, the batteries were not working properly and know one seamed to be bothered, Then New Age Innovation came on the scene and they were fantastic!, Not only did they install a couple of other batteries (that worked) they took my old batteries and rebooted them both at no extra cost ! Harry, who i have been speaking to is amazing! he assured me that they would sort out all the problems with the system and to his work they did. even after i paid the bill in full he has kept in touch making sure everything is running smoothly, Harry also helped me to understand the app and what it all means. The lads that came and installed the batteries were all very polite and cleaned up after .I would recommend these guys 100%
