I placed an order on the 31st of January, with full tracking. On the 1st of February I received a notification that the order has been shipped. To date I have not received the tracking notification, nor the order. The status of the order in the Shop app is "Ready to Ship" - which apparently indicates that the order has not been dropped off for delivery. I've tried communicating via the Shop app, and sent multiple emails, but no response.

Edit: I reached out to the store on their website and that resulted in me receiving a quick response. I received the tracking information, and then a couple of hours later I received the order (in good condition). The delay appears to be a result of delays caused by Royal Mail's delivery schedule - and thus not the fault of the business. I have thus changed my initial 1 star rating to a 4 star rating. My feedback to the business is to that it would be helpful to also communicate the tracking information when the order is shipped, as well as responding to emails sent to the advertised support email address.

The game book we ordered was shipped quickly, the packaging was done well and the book was still wrapped in the factory plastic wrap. Excellent experience!

Ordered a starter deck for the One Piece TCG - specifically the ST-16 Green Uta starter deck. When I placed my order, the site informed me that there were two left in stock, so I placed my order and everything was accepted.

A few days later, I received an email informing me that my order had been dispatched and would be with me in a few days - so far so good.

Bafflingly, two days after receiving the dispatch email, I received a follow-up email informing me that the item was not in stock, and I had been issued a full refund!

It is beyond my comprehension as to why this happened at all, I can't begin to put together in my mind what could have possibly been going on.

Processing an order then issuing a refund because of a stocking error is understandable, and has actually happened to me before. But to spend days processing the payment, to then send out an email stating the product was dispatched, to THEN say that the item wasn't in stock is beyond reason.

At the start of the review I mentioned the product I ordered. I do so because at the time of writing (27/11/24), there is apparently still 1 in stock! So not only did my original order actually reduce this value, but despite sending an email personally stating a refund would be issued, they have done NOTHING to remove this discrepancy from the website.

The only reason this is not a 1-star review is because a refund was indeed issued swiftly and in full. However, this whole experience is unlike anything I have ever seen before - regrettably I will not be returning to this storefront nor will I be recommending it to anyone else.

Protech is a great place to shop and a great place to hang out. Helpful staff and some of the nicest people hang out there playing games.

So great! Fab store that had the One Piece trading cards in stock before widely available elsewhere!
