PropShopTrader is a proprietary trading firm built to develop traders into real, scalable proprietary capital across multiple asset classes. We operate a structured progression model that allows traders to prove consistency in simulated environments before advancing into live corporate trading. Our approach prioritizes long-term development, disciplined risk management, and professional standards over short-term payouts or repeated resets. With proprietary technology, education, and infrastructure, PropShopTrader supports traders as they grow within a single firm across expanding markets.

First I would like to suggest that TrustPilot adds 0 stars because that’s exactly what I would give these scammers. They did a major rug pull about a month ago refusing to pay traders who qualified.
They entered the business as a prop futures business, then decided a few months later to offer stocks and CFDs knowing that if they do that they would now be regulated and not be allowed to pay traders trading SIM Live accounts. That means all of Live accounts would not receive a payout but would now be monitored for possible Real Live accounts and you would have to register as a professional trader and pay $252 a month per account exchange fees.
I would definitely raise a few glasses to anyone who can qualify for a Real Live account with these shysters. It’s 5 steps of complete nonsense design for you to fail.
One of the owners at PropShopTrader is known as a snake oil salesman in the trading space hawking bright shiny objects.
Bottom line, stay far away from PropShopTrader if you value your time and money.
Hello Steven from
Propshop was quick and prompt to message back. They answered my questions and were were polite. Much better than other customer service people I have delt with in the past. Great job as always.
Not a good prop firm. They have made it impossible to get payouts from the new changes they have made with their benchmarks. Now a trader is expected to get consistent profit for 8 weeks realistically to be even considered for going live. I had about 118,000 that would be been paid out from the previous structure. Usually when a prop firm makes drastic changes like this,, I would steer clear from gi into then any business. Wasted a lot if time and money building my account. Definitely would not recommend. There are plenty of other prop firms that allow the trader to get faster payouts and flexible rules. I really wish they didn't change the structure of their program. And we don't know what more they might change in the future.
I joined under the original Gladiator/Warrior structure, where performance accounts had a defined payout structure. Since launch, the structure and rules have changed multiple times:
Warrior accounts were discontinued, and previously advertised benefits (such as monthly discounts or resets) were removed.
Gladiator accounts, which originally functioned as payout accounts, are now effectively a qualification / “eval” phase.
Payouts are no longer milestone-based and are now discretionary upon benchmark achievement.
This fundamentally changed the value proposition and the initial offering, showing instability and a lack of coherence. They could have respected (grandfathered) existing accounts, but instead customers bore the full impact of the changes without transitional protection—disproportionately affecting those who committed capital under the original framework.
In addition, the automated compliance system lacks context awareness and can create false positives (for example, flagging copy-trader synchronization issues as “hedging” even when trades are closed immediately upon detection). This can require repeated explanations and adds operational uncertainty, with the added risk of accounts being closed at their discretion.
I understand businesses evolve, but when core payout structures change after customers have invested under a different framework without relief, it feels like a bait-and-switch.
My advice: read the updated FAQ carefully and decide based on real user experiences whether this company deserves your time and money.
One of the best customer service experiences I had, Eman, was to the point and gave instructions to resolve an issue I overlooked.
I've had two separate issues prior and during onboarding which were quickly helped with! Brian and Santiago supported me in the most professional way so that I am now able to begin my journey to trading stocks through a prop company. That first impression matters and I'm looking forward to a wonderful conquest!
Prop Shop Trader is revolutionizing the prop space! Go check them out it's well worth your time. You become part of a family when you join! Not your typical prop firm and tons (I repeat) tons of knowledge-based learning! See you soon at PST....
Santiago & Eaman are members of Support that has been consistently outstanding. Responses come quickly, every interaction stays focused on the issue at hand, and follow‑up is always thorough. It’s clear they take ownership from start to finish, making the entire process smooth and efficient. Truly a team that delivers.
Excellent support. It was fast, clear and they provided guidance all the time. Both(Ron and Eman)
Beware of this company, as they never deliver what you pay for!
Beware of this company!
After a long and frustrating wait to unlock my funds (over $130,000 across 5 accounts) and receive payment, I've concluded it's impossible. PropShopTrader is an abusive company that constantly changes the rules at will, and it's best to stay away from them. I'm giving them one star because I can't give them less. They change the rules of the game when you're successful, blocking payments. Don't buy these accounts.
My experience with PropShopTrader reveals a deceptive and unfair business model. They lure you in with attractive markets and seemingly clear payment terms. Although I meticulously followed all the published rules (trading conservatively, respecting drawdown limits and the minimum trading days, and meeting the payment requirements), the problems started after I had done everything. Payments were paused or denied due to new interpretations, compliance alerts, and unannounced rule changes. The conditions were applied retroactively, profits were reclassified, and valid trading results became irrelevant.
The latest update imposed an extreme requirement: five profitable trading days per week for eight consecutive weeks, with a minimum daily profit threshold. This forces traders to generate 40 consecutive days of significant profits with a certain daily profit amount for their accounts to count as trading days, with no allowance for normal dips or statistical variations. Any dip triggers MAE's rules, restricting or deactivating the account. In practice, these structural requirements disadvantage traders. Even after completing the 40 days, they are only considered for "Trading Pro," with no guarantee of acceptance and the risk of new conditions. There is no clear or reliable way to obtain a payment or a live account. The requirements are constantly changing, success is not guaranteed, and all the risk rests with the trader. I've lost all faith in this company's transparency and impartiality. Don't buy these accounts. Save your money or find reputable competitors to trade with, or use your own funds. I've finally decided to close all my remaining accounts because it's a complete waste of time knowing they'll never pay! Stay away from them and value your time! The only worthwhile thing about this company has been Steven's support; if I had to give him 5+ stars, otherwise, it's all below one star.
I have been using the propshop for about 4 months. I have not had much success yet. But I am very happy to use the platform. Most shout out is the support, unlike other platform firm, their support is top notch. I want to give shot out at Santiago for his support on multiple occasions. He is very prompt and make you feel you are valued.
Had problem with re-setting a couple of Gladiator accounts, got in-touch with PropShopTrader. So emailed in and Santiago sorted out the problem within 24hrs.
Great Support as usual, many thanks Santiago!!
Regards,
Jason
Support is Brilliant and so Helpful, and always there for you.
This is the only prop firm I believe when they pitch their program, and it's the only program that focuses on education and focusing on discipline because they want you to be live.
The reps replied quickly, resolved the issue and provided helpful additional information.
Five stars ⭐️
I needed some assistance understanding the new program rules and how they affected my current accounts. Brian did a great job explaining everything step by step in a clear and patient way, which made it easy for me to understand the new goals and what I need to focus on moving forward. Really appreciate the support and professionalism.
Yesterday I made a mistake while trading and broke a golden rule. I appealed the decision and explained what happened. Compliance was veery reasonable and removed the flags on both accounts. Thank you Propshop
I recently started using the Propshoptrader and what is most amazing besides the good and affordable prop accounts is the Customer Support. Brian from customer service is always an awesome person to deal with, there has been multiple times I had questions regarding to the prop firm or trading the accounts and he has always went above and beyond to help me with any issues or question. Very fast and detailed customer service
Worse prop firm 40 days winning day what a nonsense don't waste your money on this prop firm
Sean Kozak, CEO of PropShopTrader (PST) announced on 1/31/26 that prop firms as we know it today will be changing in a major way for the better. Here is a quick list of upcoming changes:
* PST wants to (really) partner with traders for their consistency potential and make them real account funded traders.
* PST will pay sign-on bonuses to traders who pass their consistency tests.
* PST Consistency tests are made up of benchmarks where a trader needs to make a nominal profit amount per day for 5 days. And continue to do so for 5 times. He/she will then be evaluated within the next 3 benchmarks to become funded to a real account.
* PST is going to be the first prop firm to offer equities as a tradable asset.
PST will also offer education to show traders how to trade equities with strategies with a high success rate.
* PST will offer resets not only for a blown account but also a reset for the account's drawdown so a trader does not have to start from ground zero.
* PST will offer mobile, desktop and phone apps for trading including their built-in trade copier that is lightweight and minimizes the latency and copy errors that other copiers suffer from.
* PST will be the first prop firm to offer futures, equities and CFD's (forex trading) and will be compliant with SEC rules. Other prop firms will have to undergo a major paradigm shift if they even want to compete.
* PST will begin trading equities the week of Feb 1. CFD's will come later.
* PST is not only saying they want to partner with traders they are doing something about it. Other Prop firms seem to only want traders to live in the 'simulated' environment to collect their account fees.
* If you are thinking about joining a prop firm, why not PST? They will become the leader in this industry and they are very fair.
* Thank you Sean Kozak and your support team for building this exciting prop form.
* For readers of this evaluation, I personally am not getting any royalties or payments of any kind for this review. The opinions here are my own.
