When I first started, I thought to myself what have I signed up for? Then shortly after, I fell ill with the flu for over a week and could not get out of bed. I was very curious, as I wanted to start the course but just wasn't able to. However, after a few more days I was back to normal, thank God.

When I finally started, I was extremely enthralled at how engaging this course content was. At first I felt like deja vu was setting in as it took me back to my childhood in grades 5 and 6. All the memories of what a verb, noun, pronoun, adjective and adverb had me thrilled at how much this course was unlocking my memories of over 55 years ago in a similar setting in school! Wow! I'm loving it. I'm so happy that I took this leap of faith and I can't wait to see where this will eventually take me. Thanks for the opportunity. I feel so blessed.

This training is very comprehensive. It covered the basics, recommended resources, and shared lessons learned. I have enjoyed being part of this group and will continue to interact with them.

There is too much info to only be covered with bullet points and one or two sentences. I plan on continuing the course but am disappointed in course content. Many things have changed in the dissemination of grammatical information and it has been a long time since high school English class. I do appreciate the $100 discount however.

This course has been a very good investment, for sure. I have learned everything to do with our awesome English language in such tremendous detail. Thank you so much for all your research and knowledge. The only thing I do NOT like is having to build a webpage. I just cannot relate or adjust to doing that. Showit was completely useless for me. I wish there could have been a little more help with that. I chose WordPress and their AI assistance (for a price). I know it's better, for me, than Showit. Showit-Showhat?

This was the best course I have ever done. It beats anything I have studied online or in person. They are very thorough and teach you about all the aspects of proofreading as well as starting a business. I would recommend Proofread Anywhere to anyone!

Before retirement in May 2025, much of my role as a paralegal at an intellectual property law firm involved proofreading. I'm one of the "nerds" that can find typos in menus, addresses, titles, etc. I am also a published author who utilized the services of a proofreader. Since then, I've been asked to read (not proofread) books that others have proudly published. In one case, I couldn't get past the first few pages because of the plethora of typos. So, I took the course to get certified to help others publish their stories or information in a professional way. It taught me a lot, I did all of the practice articles, and I got 100% on the exam--not because it was easy, but because I took it seriously. Everything was terrific. My reason for four stars is that I wasn't planning to be inundated by a lot of additional solicitations for more classes, official paperwork, how to set up the business, etc. With that said, I learned a lot and feel ready to help others get their information out to the world in a professional product. Thank you so very much. I highly recommend the program, advice, and support.

I had some health issues while taking the course, but it was easy to jump back in wherever I left off. I received encouragement throughout the entire process from the support team.
The same holds true for the final exam. It didn’t matter how long I waited between making my first and second attempts. Everything went well.

The course is packed with great content. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the Customer Service. When I email for a question, I’m told to visit the FB page. When I go there, the responses can be a little to Kurt for my liking. I never got my question answered.

Overall it was a positive experience, however I wish there had been a rubric or specific breakdown of the grading system for the final exam.

Indepth proofreading course that covered the basics and so much more.

I'm getting through it pretty well, but the lack of any screenshots or pictures in the videos is a real drawback. It would be a much better class if you added those, especially if people could see examples of word and PDF edits. Seems like there's a bigger emphasis on starting a business, which is just as important as the proofreading itself, but the proofreading techniques seem rushed. Also, there have been a few occasions where the downloads do not match the description. This class could be so much better.

I'm learning a lot and finding this interesting. I believe that this will be a valuable skill to have. I'm a retiree, and I'm looking forward to supplementing my income after I complete the training.

Supportive and detailed. Lots of practice is a big help too. Couple of smaller things to change. The course could take out the part about how reasonable the gender ideology pronouns are. When selling the course it sounds like if you can't watch the video for an hour right now then don't bother. Could be more friendly with the initial message

What made my experience great was the program itself, as well as the helpfulness of the instructors and other students.

Overall, an abundance of information was provided. I would have liked more specifics in each of the categories. For example, I took the Grammar Course in Khan Academy and learned much more than I did in this course which I paid for. I feel like I'm floundering a bit... had to figure out for myself how to actually do the editing. I am floundering with the best course of action for a website; what to do regarding an email address; how exactly to set up to be paid. So a little more guidance/substance on the topics would be much appreciated. I wrote quizzes professionally for 9 years and could assist GREATLY with your Vocabulary Quiz and Module Quizzes. In my professional opinion, they are not well-written. If you would like assistance making your quizzes better, please let me know!

I was very hesitant about signing up for this course. My confidence was at an all-time low. After going through a reduction-in-force from my job, I decided it's now or never. What a great decision it was to say "yes" to me!
The course was user-friendly and felt like home for me. I learned a great deal, but I was surprised at how much I already knew. The Proofreading Pose were diligent about staying in constant communication with me which gave me a level of comfort that I was not just thrown into the deep end of the pool and told to swim. Since completing the course, I now feel confident to take the next step into my freelancer life.

This is not a course to be taken lightly! Even with a degree in English, I learned a great deal--and had to re-learn some concepts. I am so happy that I took this step and look forward to using it to work in this field and help other writers to craft a better project.

It was a great refresher for grammar practice. However, in today’s economy the price is a bit expensive. Especially for those on limited income or one person household.

The online course was very professionally laid out and delivered. All of the concepts were well explained and the quizzes and tests very fair. I got a lot out of the course and liked the modules on starting my proofreading business. I highly recommend this course.
