Best ticket experience ever. I got my ticket exactly when I was told I would get them. I saw Les Miserable with my 16 old son. He was very impressed with the show. Now he wants to see more if Broadway...

Found tickets through prominenttickets.com listed on seatgeek. I purchased over $2,000 in tickets to an event. Nowhere on my original receipt does it say anything about tickets being subject to availability. 2 days after I purchased said tickets, I get an email with a new invoice where prominenttickets inserted language stating that the tickets I purchased were subject to availability. Per my discussions with them both before and after I returned their receipt signed via email, this was never brought up with me.

I then get a call 2 days prior to the event taking place that my order couldn't be fulfilled. This is after several arrangements had been made to stay near the event taking place, and well after my credit card had been charged. As it turns out, the tickets I had purchased went up over 4x in value from the time I had purchased them.

Prominenttickets.com said they would issue me a refund on my credit card but it would likely take over a week or more to have that refunded money available to me. When I inquired about getting the refund wired to me I was told no, even after I offered to pay their wire fee. This effectively priced me out of buying new tickets at the inflated prices because I would not have the refunded money available to me in time.

To make matters worse, when I called the owner, Lance Patania, he lectured me on his unethical business practices in a condescending tone, offered no apology or any help to make right what is very clearly an unethical scheme that is still being perpetuated by this broker today.

Upon speaking with seatgeek, they vehemently disagree with how this broker does business but I have yet to see prominent tickets get delisted from their site.

If prominenttickets cared so much about their customers, there could have been a variety of ways to help solve the problem. The company listed several tickets in the same section I purchased mine in for much higher prices. Why weren't these offered? Why wasn't a refund offered to be made available immediately? Why wasn't I told earlier that the tickets I purchased didn't exist? Why does it say on prominenttickets.com that they own all of their tickets, but then I am told differently over the phone? They are quick to point out that offered a 200% refund yet the tickets are now more than 4 times the value of my initial purchase price. They could have easily pocketed the difference (over 4k) as profit if they did in fact have these tickets. If they didn't own the tickets, then why we're they listed on seatgeek.com as being so? Why does their website say they own all of their own tickets? I know of at least 4 others who used them as well for the same tickets, same event and they reneged on their purchased tickets as well.

The whole point of exchanging money for tickets is to have tickets, not to have a broker try to fulfill my order AFTER exchanging money. I could have gone anywhere local to me to try to do that. The only thing I cared about was making the event and now I've actually been prevented from going because of prominenttickets.com.

Bottom line, don't do business with shady brokerages who list slightly below value prices for tickets that they never actually owned. They took my money without hesitation but couldn't get it back to me with the same speed. For a place that has such "great customer service" you would think they care more about the end result for their customers.

I have never felt so ripped off in my entire life. 9 friends and I bought tickets to see our college team in the NCAA Sweet 16 Tournament at MSG. It's old news now that these tickets have reached records breaking costs. We bought our tickets on the Sunday prior to our event (Friday 3/28) and were informed 2 days before the game that Prominent Tickets no longer had our tickets (I'd like to know where they went). The 100% guarantee I see on your website is NOT the service I received. I'd like to break down the statements made in that guarantee; Your tickets will arrive in time for the game; They never arrived, they were held out on us for 4 days until we were told they didn't have them. Your tickets will be legitimate and valid for entry; it doesn't seem legitimate when you're told TWO DAYS before the event that Prominent Ticket no longer has the tickets. Your tickets will be the ones you ordered or better: Well I don't have tickets and I recall ordering 10, so their not mine and they are CERTAINLY not better!!! You will be fully refunded if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled; THE EVENT IS IN TWO DAYS! AS FAR AS I KNOW IT'S STILL ON AND I DON'T HAVE TICKETS. I am still getting a refund but not under the circumstances that would warrant one. All I wanted was to be at this event on Friday 3/28 and instead I will still be fuming over the disgusting treatment my friends and I were given from Prominent Tickets. There are no words to describe the horrid business practices shown by Prominent Tickets.

Found the information, on the web while looking for Super Bowl tickets. I read in an article that they had the lowest markup in the secondary market. I compared them with all the other ticket brokers and found that to be true. Once purchased, their customer service was excellent, and they kept me very up to date on where and when I would be getting my tickets. Go hawks!

I'm so happy I remembered Prominent Tickets, because after trying to buy Joan Rivers tickets directly from the venue where she is appearing and not finding the seats I wanted, I went to Prominent Tickets and got the seats I was hoping and wanting to get. The customer service was great and the pricing totally fair. After that, I went back to Prominent Tickets to get tickets to a Knicks game and again got great tickets along with great customer service and prices. They are my go to more and actually have gotten me more interested in seeing more shows/games. Highly recommend them.
