Project & Survey were very professional throughout and I benefited from the addition of a moisture test and drone survey. Gordon turned his report around a day sooner than expected and I had a call with him before and after the survey which was incredibly helpful. The output was to a high standard and I was able to understand very quickly the areas of concern to focus on.

The Level 2 survey was very detailed and gave us a clear understanding of the property and the areas that required further investigation. It was particularly helpful in determining the practical next steps for our current housing purchase.

Communication throughout the process was straightforward and responsive. Messages were handled through their online portal and we consistently received quick replies.

The portal itself was easy to use. We arranged the survey, made payment before the inspection, and received the final report through the same system, which made the process very efficient.

Overall a very smooth experience and a thorough survey that helped us move forward with confidence.

I initially reviewed the company online and noticed that almost all reviews were five stars. I was slightly sceptical at first. However, their pricing was very competitive compared with other surveyors, and they provided a genuinely detailed sample report which gave me confidence in the quality of their work.
After booking, the entire process was straightforward. Scheduling, payment and communication were handled smoothly through their online system. There were a few minor coordination issues with the current occupant of the property, but these were resolved efficiently.
The Level 2 report itself was comprehensive, clearly structured and detailed, with practical recommendations and sensible prioritisation of issues. It gave us a clear understanding of the condition of the property and what required attention before exchange.
Based on our experience, I would highly recommend them.

Great to deal with

With the large number of surveyors available it can be hard to know which to choose without a direct recommendation. I had a L3 survey completed by Gordon McEwan for a home purchase and was very satisfied with the quality of the report. The surveyor had clearly spent time inspecting all areas inside and outside the property, including thermal images and drone pictures of the roof. I also spoke at length with Gordon after the survey over the phone, which was easy to book and helped to clarify the take home message. As a result of the survey I have had follow up investigations to make sure I feel confident that my investment is protected. Would definitely recommend them and consider using them again in future!

All went smoothly - they are responsive , they show up for the appointment and send the report out one week later. No complaints. except that maybe it’s a little pricier than other vendors.

Low cost, low quality.
We chose this surveyor because the staff responded to my inquiry very quickly and agreed to all my requests.
However, the report was very generic and seemed entirely template-based, failing to include the specific items we had asked to be checked.
As a follow-up, I requested these checks, but I have not received any response.

I recently had a Level 3 survey done by Gordon at Project & Survey and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The report was very detailed, and easy to understand. It’s clear that Gordon took the time to go through everything thoroughly and addressed all my questions in our follow-up call, which gave me real confidence in the purchase, and gave me an understanding of issues, priority of things that need remediating and rough estimates.

The survey price was extremely competitive compared to other quotes I received, but the quality of the report and the level of service were second to none. Gordon was friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any questions I had afterwards.

It was difficult to pay the fee and as your telephones were giving problem, the whole process became probelmatic.

We ordered Level 2 survey as part of purchasing a hosue and were very happy with the service received. Communication was good, we had a useful call with Gordon in advance of the survey, as well as, after receipt of the results. The report was thorough and included a lot of useful information - and on the follow up call Gordon happily provided further context on the state of the property and expected level of maintenance of various elements. Overall, this was very efficient and good quality, with reasonable price - exactly what we were looking for.

These guys have done two surveys for me and I've found them to be really thorough, well-priced and responsive both times. Helped me dodge a cladding issue on the first property, whilst Gordon was really helpful in a follow-up call on the latest property.

This was the third house survey we've paid out for in 2025 (due to two other properties sadly falling through), and Project & Survey have easily been the best company by miles!
Super happy with our experience. The quote and booking process is great - there's so much flexibility, which we really appreciated.
The survey report itself was extremely thorough - it even included a free drone survey of the roof which was really helpful. Gordon answered our survey queries the same day we sent them over too.
