I got 4 quotes for a level 3 survey and Pro Insight came in at one of the cheapest. More than half cheaper than the most expensive one. I phoned Matt and we had a chat about the disparity in quotes and what he could deliver. Matt came across as honest and professional and we decided to go with him. We were very happy with the survey Matt did. It was very thorough and he spotted things we hadn’t seen ourselves in the 2 visits to the property. A week later the survey was done on the property we are selling (also level 3) & the difference was striking. It’s clear that Matt was extremely thorough. We highly recommend him, professional & very good value for money.

He demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, producing a thorough and comprehensive report that covered not only the obvious issues but also many finer points we would never have thought to check ourselves. The report was extremely well structured, with a clear summary of key findings alongside practical recommendations on how to address issues and what to keep in mind for the future.

What really stood out was his willingness to take the time to go through our questions on multiple occasions. He provided clear, detailed answers and made sure we fully understood everything, which gave us a great deal of confidence in moving forward.

Highly recommended! Not only was the price competitive, the service provided was second to none! Matt scheduled our building survey within a reasonable timeframe. Upon completion of his inspection I received an initial update stating areas of most concern, then followed up shortly after with a comprehensive and extremely detailed report covering all bases! We knew the property needed updating so opted for the level 3 report which cover many items we hadn’t considered and flagged multiple concerns which we wouldn’t have otherwise been aware of. We also received a separate document containing multiple additional photos which was a nice bonus. I had multiple follow up questions, many which I felt fell outside of what would be covered by this service, but Matt came back to on every point and was very helpful. I would definitely use Pro-insight again in future.

Matt completed a level 3 survey on the cottage we’re purchasing in November 2025. We originally asked for a level 2 survey, but he pointed out the need for a level 3 , due to the construction of the property, which was correct.
The survey report was completed within 2 days and was thorough and comprehensive, detailing every aspect highlighting minor & more significant issues.
Our seller refused to agree to fund repairs to fix a structural issue, until we spoke to Matt who confirmed the need for the work to be completed or it could affect home insurance or future sales.
Throughout this process Matt has offered telephone consultations and advice which has had positive results for us.
I cannot recommend Matt’s service enough, apart from his professional advice and consultations he offers a comprehensive survey at a very competitive price, do not be put off by the lower cost compared to other organisations, you certainly don’t get less for your money.

Matt has performed 2 surveys for us for our house purchase. His report is incredibly thorough and raised a number of factors regarding the first property that we were unaware of and probably saved us a lot of money in the long run. I recently needed a survey done on a flat I’m hoping to purchase and came across Pro Insight Surveying through a comparison site. At first, I was a little hesitant – the company didn’t have many reviews and the price seemed surprisingly reasonable. However, I decided to go ahead, and I’m so glad I did.

We have just used Matt this weekend for a level 3 survey. Matt managed to accommodate us super last minute and was very kind when I was very stressed in dealing with a probate property. Matt made the effort on a Sunday to visit the house and write up the report so we would be informed in making our decision which was an auction that Tuesday. I was so impressed with the quality of Matt's report and have already been telling people that I know of an amazing surveyor if they need one!

I used Matt at Pro Insight for my level 3 Building survey on a flat purchase and I am very impressed and happy with the service. A seller pulled out of a previous purchase and Matt was very understanding of me cancelling that survey and so I went back to use for my current purchase. He was efficient, friendly and communicative, booked the survey in really quickly and handled all comms with the estate agent. The initial feedback on the day of the survey was really helpful, as a quick overview, and the full report was very thorough and helpful but didn't feel like it was just full of caveats listing every possible issue that any old building might have as if just copied and pasted (as has been the case with other surveyors I've used in the past). Matt was also able to tailor the survey to address particular concerns/ideas I had for the property and it was all written in a clear and concise way without lots of jargon. Photos were all very useful to show what he was referring to throughout too. And really helpful suggestions and indications of what might be needed in future. Price was very competitive too. I haven't needed clarity yet on anything but I know Matt is available should I need further information following the report.

All in all I highly recommend and will be using again/recommending to all my friends.

Looking for a property can be excruciatingly stressful and extremely difficult, particularly when it involves one of the biggest purchases in one's life.
