Poor diagnostics for simple job, plus high charges
Trader came out on call for faulty remote opener on garage door. Fault was misdiagnosed but this wasn't recognised until 2 further visits had taken place. Engineer staff were decent and polite at all times, but problem was not resolved for several weeks until customer finally suggested an alternative remedy. Communication with local office was unsatisfactory and final charge did not, in customer's mind, seem fair, as it included costs towards the wasted visits. Upon challenge, the company dugs its heels in and even threatened to charge more. Not recommended except for simple jobs.
