Stay clear of the breakfast fuel drink…
Stay clear of the breakfast fuel drink I bought one fresh from the supermarket opened it took a big mouth full and it was like cheese mixed with a fowl tasting water absolutely rotten . Sick for days and it's pointless complaining as nothing will be done . Just don't send them back the evidence when they ask keep it and send it to your local authority.
Second time I’ve bought something…
Second time I’ve bought something that’s from two different shops just for it to be full of mould
4 sachets now 3 cups soup
I have been buying potato and leak packet soup each week about 10 box's at a time, this is always the most expensive now you have reduced to 3 sachets from 4 price still the same, you can get offers from Sainsbury's with their nectar card, but again the greed of the manufacturer's, I bought this due to cancer and it was something I could eat and enjoy, but you have taken this from me now, I won't be buying this again like a lot of things gone smaller price higher, British greed again 😞update are they putting sage in the soup, taste funny now 😕
Fuel 10k yoghurt and Granola Revolting
Fuel 10k yoghurt and Granola Revolting. I purchased 6 of these from Asda took pictures today 22.10.25 of yoghurt with expiry date of 29.10.25. Its split, lumpy absolutely revolting. Surly its not meant to look like this they were £1.65 each not cheap. Trust me stay clear.
Exceedingly poor customer relations...What would Mr Kipling say ?......
I wrote to Premier Foods complaining about the disparity between their advertising imagery on the packaging of their Mr Kipling Bramley Apple Pies and the real content of the actual pies. I sent a photograph alongside their packaging which clearly showed that the content of the pies was nothing like the packaging images.
The only reason that I was moved to do this was that at a BBQ the pies were derided and it was implied that I had bought cheap ‘second’ that were half empty. So on rainy afternoon with little else to do I wrote to their consumer relations advisors - not demanding a refund but simply pointing out the perceived ‘sharp’ practice.
The response was an e-mail requesting as follows: “please could you provide me with the following: - Best Before Date and Codes from the boxes near to the best before date Retailer where puchased Photo of six boxes or copy of receipt if possible As soon as we’ve received it, we’ll contact you again.”
I replied “Dear Sarah I am simply complaining about the disparity between your packaging picture and the actual content of the pies as illustrated in my photograph - it was not a claim for a refund. The BBQ was held on Saturday 16th August - my recycle bin was emptied on Wednesday 20th August - I did get one packet from the bin to photograph after being accused by a 'friend' of buying second rate pies but the rest are gone. The items for the BBQ were purchased from Iceland in Chichester along with many other items for the BBQ...... But all that is not relevant - you illustrate a pie filled to the brim with juicy apple and the reality is clearly shown in my picture - I attach a second copy of the photograph. Don't worry I'm not going to sue you -- just thought that you should know that a very long time customer will treat your packaging with a heavy measure of scepticism from now on - after all IF you don't know that your advertising is deceptive then you can't correct it.”
This resulted was Premier Food’s customer relations advisors sent me some vouchers which could not be used in Tesco, Sainsburys, Aldi or Lidl to the value of £10. I pointed this out and by e-mail they requested that I send them my full bank information so that they could pay me that sum – I did not ask for a refund but when one was offered I did not see why I should not accept it – however standing at check-outs while cashiers spend ages only to reject the vouchers is not a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.......
For goodness sake – Mr Kipling would be turning in his grave if he saw what had been done to his apple pies – I’d love to post a picture – but the vouchers fiasco was the last straw……
What’s happened to popadoms
Sharwoods popadoms Fancied a curry today. Purchased Sharwoods popadoms. Absolutely terrible. Something has changed in their product. Could have bought the supermarket own brand, but thought I’d spend a bit more for better taste. How wrong I was . Don’t taste anything like a popadom. Rancid and very salty .
Mr Kipling Double Choc Brownie Bites
Bought these as a treat as each 'cake' was supposed to be low in sugar. On opening I discovered why only 4.5g of sugar per cake.
The box gave the impression that the 10 cakes would be around 2.5Lx1Hx1W (inches) at least but there was so much packaging I doubt they are 2cm cubes.
They are smaller than a custard cream which looks positively massive next to them on a plate. I think they should be in the boxed chocolate isle and not the cake isle because they are so, so small.
"Mr Kipling makes exceedingly miserly cakes" should be the new moto. For £2.25 I was robbed.
Customer service staff poor
Contacted customer service re the custard pots packaging bought not the same when removed sleeve - an extremely unhelpful Tracy stated they were the same (the definitely were not) she was uninterested- company clearly just want your money and not interested in the customer
Death by ambrosia mouse? God please no!
Had the most scary experience with a chocolate ambrosia mouse last week and I’m still affected.
I bought a few packs during my monthly shop as usual and on Thursday night, I got home and popped one open after confirming the expiry date (something I always do) and it’s set to expire in July of 2025. I had been cooking all day and the kitchen smelled like all sorts of food so I didn’t immediately smell it and just put a spoon full in my mouth. By the time I started choking and throwing up, I already swallowed some. I’ve been dizzy and ill ever since. I literally ate mold! Mold! Mold!
I stay up all night scared for my life and I still haven’t gotten the moldy taste out of my mouth and throat. My husband had to stay home from work today to hold my hair as I’m STILL throwing up and the other thing all day.
I really need to upload photos and videos on here, is that possible at all?!
My husband kept the mouse aside in a ziplock and at first I wasn’t sure why because of course my instinct was to toss the thing but seeing as it’s actively affected my life, I’m fully prepared to take legal action against the company now.
Batchelors Mushy Peas a Joke
I have complained several times about Batchelors mushy peas and have been ignored so only action is to 1 star review and boycott. Trouble is these days probably alternatives made in same factory?
Previously they have been VERY sloppy and definitely not mushy.
This latest time just pea soup. Wish I could post a picture.
Looks like poor quality control issue.
Should rename themselves Premier Micro…
Should rename themselves Premier Micro Foods, given the size of Mr Kipling Cakes now.
Exceedingly good, no, just utterly ridiculous one mouthful cakes. Won’t be buying anymore.
Mr Kiplings pies now awful
Mr Kiplings pies now awful . Black berry and apple no taste pastry takes old and ewww . Use to love pies before now can only have odd treat but won't buy kiplongs again as taste is horrible no taste at all
MR Kipling - pies in general
Mr Kipling exeedingly good cakes? Not any more!!
I have always liked their cakes, but not anymore. I have noticed over the recent cost of living period (maybe longer) that the size of each cake has now reduce to a large mouthful, 2 bites max.
Regardless of the cake, bakewell slices, apple pies and recently mincepies. None of these cakes tasted as good as they used to.
I have given up tryin g to contact large companies by internet or phone. Their unattended systems are generally appalling, at best. More often not unusable.
Obviously Premier Foods feel they are too big and u ntouchable to take prduct comments.
Having looked at complaints on here I see a similar trend. From now on I will be avoiding anything manufactured by Premier Foods.
Mr Kiplings pies used to be fairly good…
Mr Kiplings pies used to be fairly good when i was a kid. They are exceedingly disgusting now! Really poor ingredients, pastry is so bad you have zero chance of getting one of these powdery gross things (apple pies, allegedly!) to your mouth before it breaks into a dozen pieces. Never again. If i see Premier Foods on the label it can do one.
The rice pudding was disgusting it was…
The rice pudding was disgusting it was like eating a bowl of hot milk hardly any rice in it my family refused to eat it it went in the sink it was easy to wash down the sink it was so disgusting
are you trying to reduce the amount of rice that goes in to save money
I’ll be going to m&s in future their rice is amazing and so much cheaper than this awful rubbish
Ambrosia deluxe rice, no thanks!!!!
I bought a twin pot Ambrosia deluxe rice pudding pack in Tesco.
On opening, although dated till July 2024, it was mouldy.
I wrote with all details to Premier Foods, Dublin, 3 weeks ago, but not even the courtesy or professionalism of a response.
Complacency in my view, is not a good policy!
Love your cadburys mini mint chocolate …
Love your cadburys mini mint chocolate rolls they are amazing from the 1st bite hearing the crunch of the chocolate and tasting the mint inside its like going to heaven
Where's the chicken?

The 2nd had hardly any chicken again and not enough sauce
They blamed their supplier's but it's got their name on it!
