After discussing with one of their representative I was told there was a glitch in the questions and it will be resolved. Overall the material is good quality for PE exam preparation and question style is very close. First time I failed now using this material I’ve more more confidence to pass thanks to ppi2

I took the fall 2025 Chemical Engineering PE Class. The class was a great refresher on the lessons I learned in college so many years ago. The homeworks were quite challenging but prepared me for the PE test. I actually passed both the FE and the PE within 3 months of each other, thanks to the lessons and tricks I learned in the PPI class. The class is expensive and does take a lot of time, however, having the stress of both tests over, is worth every penny. I waited 22 years after graduation to finally take this leap and PPI made it possible. I HIGHLY suggest the course and doing the NCEES practice test problems over and over. Seina was great and incredibly patient with us.

Company has IT issues. My purchased course was different than what was provided, however material covered was generally the same between the two. Practice tests and problems were challenging, but helped identify my deficiencies. PE instructor was well versed and helpful. My account issue was fixed before the course ended but it took most of the calendar days alloted for the course.

I’ve been dealing with PPI Kaplan for almost two months regarding a missing delivery, and the experience has been terrible. The only “proof of delivery” they provided was a blurry picture of an unrecognizable object and location. Despite my repeated emails, they never took real responsibility or offered a fair solution.
After all this time and frustration, they only offered me a 15% discount , which feels disrespectful considering the cost and time wasted. I expected a professional company that values engineers in training, but instead I got generic responses and no real effort to fix the problem.
At this point, I’ll be warning my colleagues and classmates not to waste their money or time here. For a company that claims to help future professionals, PPI Kaplan completely failed on professionalism, reliability, and basic customer care.
Beyond the customer service issue, their course content is outdated and doesn’t reflect the latest FE/PE exam specifications. For a company that advertises itself as the “leader in engineering exam prep,” this is completely unacceptable.

The course layout is incredibly sloppy for how much they charge. They brag about being able to make "custom" quizzes, but the quizzes are completely randomly selected from bulk question banks. If you are struggling with a specific type of question (i.e. uniaxial loading deformation), you can't focus in on that type of problem, you can only generate a quiz of random questions from their "Mechanics of Materials" question bank. For how much this costs, there should be a lot more structure to the course setup. Some of the "home works" give questions that aren't even related to the home work topic. I'd give this three stars, but this should be a lot better for the price tag. The recorded lectures were good, everything else was pretty unacceptably low quality.

The NCIDQ resources offered are comprehensive and valuable for exam preparation. However, pricing the digital version equivalent to the hard copy—while limiting access to just one year—feels unreasonable, especially considering it's a time-limited license rather than ownership. Additionally, I noticed several errors across the books and flashcards, which is disappointing for materials of this cost and caliber. As someone with over a year of professional experience in the field, I expected more accuracy and longevity in the product.

Using 6-Months of the On-Demand Mechanical: Machine Design and Materials course, I was able to pass my PE Exam.

This was the only course I used, so I can't compare it to any of the competition. I have never learned efficiently reading straight from a book, so the reading sections were valuable, but not nearly as valuable as the recorded lectures. The Question bank ("Qbank") was the real star of the program, allowing me to identify my weak subjects and focus on those, providing thorough solutions for reviewing my incorrect answers.

Some MINOR quirks at the time of this review (that can all be personally managed) are the only things holding it back from a 5 star review.
- I set my schedule for ~6hrs of study availability per week, 2hrs a day, 3 days a week. The system did a good job maintaining 6hrs a week, but not always 2 hours a day. For the 8hr practice exams this was naturally unavoidable, but sometimes the study sessions exceeded 2hrs of content. Setting a long recorded lecture to faster than 1x speed and skipping over the 10minute breaks usually solved this problem.
- A few of the Qbank questions are too complex to be accurate representations of the PE exam. Still good practice, but It would be helpful to be able to turn these questions on/off or have a note acknowledging that this is a complex question.
- The timer for the Qbank questions is set at 3min/question rather than the NCEES standard 6min/question. Reviewing practice sessions, many questions get flagged "overtime" even under 3 minutes. I just ignored these flags and ensured that my practice session was completed with an average less than 6min/question.

It may not be cheap, but in my experience it was worth the investment.

The excellent question bank with step by step solutions was the best part. I was able to sit and repeatedly work out problems by category and then check my answers and identify where I made mistakes.

I took the on-demand environmental PE prep class for my FE exam in 2020. I was amazed by Dr. Patel's ability to distill complex information into bite-size pieces. I recommended his prep course to many of my friends. I started studying for my PE exam this year (2025), and I realized I needed a refresher from THE Dr. Patel. I purchased an on-demand course again, and Dr. Patel did not disappoint. I would have loved to take a live course, but I have trouble focusing at that point in the day. Anyways, THANK YOU DR. PATEL! Keep up the good work.

I purchased Environmental PE Live course (passing guarantee) on October/November 2024. I received my materials within couple weeks. The course started on January 2025. I think the Live course was great. It was well-structured, great pace, and live support from the instructor biweekly. The office hours were really helpful to get answers to questions. The practice exam questions were a little more difficult than actual test, but on the other hand it ensures over-preparation. My course ended on April and I appeared for the test on May. I passed on my first try. I don't think I could do it without PPI's support! I'm really grateful that I enrolled in this course. Thanks PPI2Pass and my instructor who did a tremendous job!

Apologies for the long review, but I wanted to provide a very detailed account of my experience with the PPI2PASS PE Structural prep course to help others avoid making the same mistake. I enrolled in this course with high hopes, expecting a premium experience given its reputation and price tag. Instead, I found it to be the most expensive prep course out there — and by far the least exhaustive or helpful. I’m writing this to warn other students: do not waste your time or money on this course.
1. Rushed, Surface-Level Lectures
The lectures were rushed and lacked depth. The instructor sped through slides, often skipping vital explanations. Key concepts were glossed over or outsourced to vague slide references. For example, we were told to "refer to this table" with no guidance on how to interpret or apply the information. In technical fields like structural engineering, that’s not teaching — it’s lazy and ineffective.
2. No Real Practice Support
There were no targeted practice resources tied to individual lectures. After studying a topic like concrete columns for example, I expected to reinforce the material with practice problems. Instead, I had to generate quizzes from a broad question bank that included totally unrelated topics like masonry and wood structures. Worse, some of the questions in the bank weren’t even covered in the course.
3. Major Topics Missing Entirely
One of the most frustrating aspects of this course was discovering how much essential material was completely left out of the curriculum. As I reviewed my failed exam attempts, it became clear that numerous questions were based on topics the course barely touched—or didn’t mention at all. For instance, structural diaphragms appeared multiple times on the exam, yet were barely acknowledged in the lectures. Beyond that, there is a laundry list of items that showed up on the exam but were never covered in class. These were not obscure or rarely tested topics, but fundamental areas that the exam clearly focused on. The course’s failure to even mention them shows a serious lack of completeness in what is supposed to be a “comprehensive” prep program. It genuinely felt like I was set up to fail.
4. High Price, Low Value
This course charges a premium price, but it offers very little in return. Despite being one of the most expensive prep options available, the content and quality of instruction fall far below expectations. I’ve used less costly resources in the past that provided more thorough coverage, better explanations, and a higher level of support. The fact that this course is marketed as a high-end, comprehensive program while delivering so little value is both disappointing and frustrating. While I can forgive the wasted money, it’s much harder to forgive the amount of time and effort I poured into this course, only to be left underprepared and disillusioned.
5. Refused Refund Despite Legitimate Issues
After realizing the course didn’t deliver as promised, I reached out for a refund. I provided clear, detailed feedback outlining specific shortcomings, such as the rushed lectures, lack of practice resources, missing critical content, and the failure to adequately prepare me for the exam. Despite presenting these legitimate concerns, my request was flatly denied. The lack of acknowledgment or willingness to address these issues is frustrating, and the refusal to refund despite the course’s many shortcomings only added to my dissatisfaction. It’s one thing for a course to underperform, but to be met with poor customer service and dismissive responses on top of it is completely unacceptable.

I found this course extremely useful in my preparation for the Chemical PE Exam. The instructor is incredibly helpful and explains topics well. I felt prepared going into the exam and like I had a full understanding of the course material. I would recommend the PE Chemical live online course to someone hoping to take and pass their Chemical PE.

I signed up for the PPI Chemical Engineering Live Online Course. I had a positive experience with it. It was a good refresher, and I relearned some of the concepts again. The instructor is informative and knowledgeable and responds in a timely manner on the forum. I would recommend it to people.

Too much information at once. I enjoy the possibility to read, problems, flash cards, lectures, and all the other learning exercises that are offered. However it is way too much at once. Needs to be more stream lined on what is actually beneficial. Also the solutions for the problems need to be way more detailed. They should be oriented around how to find it using the handbook of that year. The handbook is utilized by all students and should learn how to solve by navigating through the handbook. Furthermore the lectures that I was sent were all based on a previous out dated handbook. Really frustrating when the professor would refer to a different page from the handbook than the one I will be using on the test.
