Shopify-based Scammer
I have been trying to track down rare Magic The Gathering Final Fantasy boxes to boost my collection. Unfortunately, I seem to keep stumbling across sellers, whose only goal appears to be ‘lure you in by advertising stock they don’t have at too-good-to-be-true prices’.
I made an order with PlusCards for two of said boxes. They ghosted me for a week, ignoring all communication, before eventually cancelling my order a week later, with no apology or explanation.
(Funnily enough, I had a similar issue with another small business prior to this one, but at least they had the decency to cancel the order within 24 hours…).
Given that I’m not the only one who has experienced the above (looking at other reviews here), I would advise anyone else to stay away. It’s not worth the wasted time or disappointment.
Shopify either needs to get a handle on false inventory (and I will be complaining to them, as well), or ban these sellers who are knowingly advertising things they don’t have.
