Jason Bedunah, a Serial Entrepreneur and owner of several companies, started the company as a way to use his digital marketing skills to get bookkeeping clients for his mother, an Accountant and Bookkeeper, after she was laid off from her employer of nearly 9 years. From there, it grew and grew into what it is today! We have the highest quality bookkeepers in the United States. Feels like a total bait and switch

Feels like a total bait and switch. Was told that the work we needed done could easily be done in a 5 hour block. Was immediately asked to pay another $595. Will never recommend to anyone.

The actual accountant doing the work was helpful and understanding.

I work with Carolina Ayala

I work with Carolina Ayala. She was very helpful and it was actually a pleasure working with her. She made it fun to work and learn about our companies bookkeeping. I looked forward to our zoom meetings. Carolina has also been helpful in the time after our educational time was completed. She truly cares about her customers and it shows. She did not leave me to my own devices, she still guided me in the correct direction when I needed it. XERO company is lucky to have her as a team member. Thank you. Tanya Mucci. Terrible experience

Terrible experience. They charge a flat fee $595 to connect you with a bookkeeper for 5 hours worth of work. The bookkeepers are paid $30 an hour.

Regarding the work, they did not do a good job on my books. I ended up paying several thousand dollars to "clean my books" and they were still a mess at the end. Do yourself a favor and find an independent bookkeeper. The owner is a snake who just cares about making money. I was overcharged and for nothing. I later found an independent bookkeeper on upwork. She did a much better job and was more invested.

Our books were in a complete mess

Our books were in a complete mess, I was so stressed and I found pleasecleanmybooks.com. Ms. Carolina Ayala helped us from the very beginning and took care of it and fixed in a few sessions. I never thought our books could be fixed but she did it! Now we can start with a clean book, just awesome!

Wasn't a pleasant experience. They just passed me around from one rep who messed up my books to another rep that also wasn't that experienced in helping me get my books in order. Had to hire someone else who was a real pro to get things in order. Advice to management is to have a project lead to get a clearer understanding of what your client is looking for. Just assigning to any random book keeper lead to huge disconnect with expectations.

Daniel, We apologize or the bad experience you had. Your original bookkeeper resigned from the company abruptly due to personal reasons. However, we made sure to match you with a bookkeeper with more than 10 years of experience in clean-up projects.

We honored all of the work you paid for once you were reassigned.

Based on the extensive notes we have of your case in our CRM, the reason why your books were not completed was due to a lack of time purchased. We honored you with ten hours of work, however, 10 hours was not enough to clean up years and years of transactions (over 7,000+) and the complete mess your books were in.

You were horribly behind and there were multiple errors in them when you brought them to us. When we asked for additional time to continue you declined under the idea that we should work for free to complete them. We do not work for free.

We absolutely fulfilled our end of the bargain.

Carolina is amazing

Carolina is amazing! She has been so patient with me and has helped me out more than I could have ever imagined! It’s so nice to know if I have an issue, I can reach out to her and she will be quick to respond and help me not only figure out the issue but also show me how to fix it and explain what she is doing. I can’t give her enough accolades!!

When I started my business

When I started my business, I had my mom doing my books and by the time I actually looked at them it was too late! I worked with Carolina and she was great, communicative, taught me things I didn’t know, answered questions in a timely manner and personable. Thank you

Excellent

This has been a wonderful experience! Brenda has been excellent and extremely responsive. I have been to FIVE bookkeepers in the past and came to PleaseCleanMyBooks with a mess of a job that was efficiently handled. Couldn't ask for more.

We are an independently owned HVAC business and Please Clean My Books' exceptional staff helped walk us through what seemed like a mountain of expenses and tax questions with ease! Specifically Brenda Young was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and the main reason we were able to file our taxes this past year! Terrible

Terrible. Paid a flat fee upfront with lots of promises that were not met. The bookkeeper assigned to me wanted to spend more time arguing with me about how I'd misunderstood something of zero consequence, instead of cleaning my books. I had to go in and basically redo the whole thing as she made such a mess. No follow-up. Highly rude and not worth the money. Please don't hire.

Charged ~$500 flat fee to 'clean books…

Charged ~$500 flat fee to 'clean books in 5 hours'. They did an OK job, but left a lot of work unfinished to try and convince us that we needed to join the subscription service. We only had 1.2 years of transactions; small business. I ended up having to fix a lot myself.

Hire someone else.

We tried to help Aaron but he wanted to try to handle things himself. Oddly, he posted this review after telling us he'd reach out Monday if he still had a problem.

Duplicate entries usually happen after the business owner goes in and messes with connections and things get reimported or when someone enters them manually but they've already been imported. It's better if the business owner leaves things alone while the catch-up/clean-up process is underway so people don't step on each other's feet.

Waste of your time and money

Don't waste your time or money. Very unprofessional, took many weeks and at the end was left with where I started.

Made many changes not requested, made us feel they were too busy.

Asked for a refund, never responded.
