Planning By Design Bewertungen

The team is very knowledgable and answered all my questions. I have used their service in obtaining a front porch extension. The application has been approved by the council in a reasonable time period.

The team were spot on. They did everything they said they would do, met and exceeded expectation and really good advice and value for money.

I had 3 calls with 3 differents people, all nice, patient and competent. I got all the info I needed rapidly. It is a good service.

The team have been fantastic from my initial enquiry. We’re looking at dropping a kerb outside our new home however we knew that we would need some assistance due to the close proximity to the junction.
I put my initial enquiry in and the next day I was contacted by Richard who went through the process and set me up an appointment with a town planner. Richard was polite and friendly and answered all my questions. The town planner, Cerys (apologies if this is spelt incorrectly), was fabulous. Answered all my questions and explained everything in Lehman’s terms so I could understand fully.
I received the feasibility report a few hours after my call with her alongside the quote to proceed through the planning stages.
I then received a call from Richard a few days later to go through the quote and answer any questions I may of had on it. I’ve also had email communication with Abigail and I cannot fault the level of service provided.
We would recommend planning by design to anyone wanting advice on a future build or planning.

Planning by design offered an extremely proficient and professional service. My wife and I were very impressed from start to finish. They listened to our requirements and gave guidance when needed.

Great experience working with PlanningByDesign, would really recommend their services. They walked me through my projectz it's implications and the potential options. Great value and peace of mind!

Excellent service through and through. This is the first time doing a project i found planning by design structured and organised. The planning call was very good and informative and the turn around times are incredible. I will be recommending there service because for the service we got and the the price i think it was very reasonable. A special mention to Abigail whose communication from the beginning was excellent!!! 🙂🙂

Great company and very helpful staff. I was totally new to planning etc but they helped me understand each step and sorted out everything! Super happy and would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with this organisation
Kim and co have been brilliant throughout. The planner was so well versed our initial meeting lasted an hour. They made their presentation and every single aspect was covered. It was so good I was left with no further queries. As an individual at the beginning with no prior experience with plannings and building controls I had tonnes of questions. But every single element was covered adequately etc. Extremely professional outlook. Great communication, quick response time, staff are polite and knowledgeable.
Keep it and a massive thank you from Farid and family

This was the right company for us to choose as the whole process was very smooth.

We needed a Variation of Condition on our outbuilding and they were able to put forward the necessary arguments for this to go ahead. It took all the stress away and it was successful.

We highly recommed this company and we will use them again in the future again, if needed.

We had an excellent experience working with Planning By Design on our planning application. From start to finish, the process was handled with professionalism, clarity, and great attention to detail. They took the time to understand our needs, guided us through every step, and ensured that everything was submitted correctly and on time.

The organisation and communication were top-notch, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. Their knowledge of the planning system and local requirements was clearly evident, and it gave us real confidence throughout.

Thanks to their expertise and hard work, our application was approved without any issues. We couldn’t be happier with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Planning By Design to anyone needing help with a planning application.

We have used this company on two occasions now for feasibility reports on potential sites that we’re looking to buy. They are externally efficient and great value for money, highly recommended

I honestly cannot praise Planning by Design highly enough. We were given a price for our drawings and planning application, which was very reasonable. We paid upfront, which was expected. Silas Willoughby our architect drew up wonderful plans and duly submitted the to our local planners. I cannot sing Silas's praises enough. Our application became a nightmare, when a storm caused serious damage to our old building. Finally 18 months later, we have had our planning permission. Silas was professional, helpful and calm. Keeping my husband and I informed all through this turbulent time. He's really is an absolute star. Thank you Silas!

I recently engaged the Planning & Design team to support my dropped kerb application, and I’m delighted with the entire experience. From the beginning, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism, strong design expertise and customer focus.
Given the complexity of my application, they proactively conducted a pre-planning consultation to clarify expectations and identify potential hurdles. This initial step gave me confidence that I was in capable hands. I provided them with a rough sketch, and they quickly transformed it into a detailed set of design drawings that were accurate, compliant, and visually clear. Remarkably, the very first draft they produced was spot on — I had no changes or corrections, and I approved it immediately.

Throughout the planning submission process, they handled every aspect professionally. They submitted the application on my behalf and stayed engaged throughout the standard 8-week approval timeline. They proactively follow-up with local planning authority and timely communicated the outcome. Thanks to their diligence, my application was approved smoothly and without delay.

They are competitively priced, especially considering the high level of service and attention to detail they provided for a moderately complex application like mine. Would surely recommend Planning & Design to anyone needing planning support, particularly for more regulated projects like a dropped kerb.

Planning by Design turned out to be an excellent choice, for a complete novice like myself. They took me through the design and process step by step, and answered any concerns or queries I had patiently and professionally. In a conservation area and with heritage statements and other requirements to meet, they did an absolutely fantastic job. Special thanks goes to Cerys and Abigail who kept me informed and touched base frequently to update. This was such an easy and cost effective service and I would not hesitate to recommend. They work hard for their money and provide a great service. And they did manage to get my plans approved, which to be honest I was surprised at for a first time application.
I am delighted.

Planning by Design were very helpful, assessing my requirements and walking me through the planning process. They were always on hand to provide professional and swift advice and were great to work with.

Great service from the team and the planner, Josh. They have been very thorough in researching the rules in my area and adapting them to my specific situation. The follow-up call has been very informative and clear, helping me make a decision.

I am extremely happy with the professional service provided by this organisation. Prior to contacting this business the planning process seemed extremely convoluted and I was struggling to submit all of the required details. Due to their support we have received approval for the planning permission required for work carried out at our property. The company kept us updated throughout the planning process. I found the staff extremely helpful in explaining the details required for a successful application, and their management of the application alleviated the stress of submitting the planning application. The money spent with this organisation was an excellent investment and I would recommend this business to any other homeowners in need of support with planning permission.

myself and my husband used planning by design to get a loft conversion, they where very professional and maid the who process very easy, the whole thing took less time than we expected and was approved very quicky, very happy with the service we received

My experience with PbD has been an excellent one - right from the start I received sound and honest advice from Cara on how to approach my case helping me to strategise and plan effectively with the feasibility report. Silas, who engaged with me on the feasibility report was very knowledgeable and I will have no hesitation to use PbD in future and to recommend them to others.
