I have never been a fan of Pilates but Pilates for runners was recommended to me when I got a place for the London Marathon. I knew I had to get a bit serious and get on with stretching and strength to get me to London injury free. I have been really disciplined and taken a little and often approach to using the website and it’s without a doubt helped my running, made me stronger and I have actually enjoyed it!! The sessions are a variety of lengths so to begin with when it was difficult to motivate myself to do them I told myself ‘it’s only 10mins’ and as time has gone on I now enjoy them and they fit into my life so easily. I also like that there are many sessions which don’t require any equipment so I can just do them in the evening in the living room without having to get weights out or anything. Liz is a very knowledgeable teacher giving information all the way through the session which is helpful and relevant.

I ran the London Marathon last weekend - my first one with a time of 4.19. I've been a subscriber to Pilates for Runners for 18 months and have regularly used Liz's online classes ie: pre-run, post-run, strengthening, stretching etc etc etc throughout my training and have managed to remain injury free. I absolutely put this all down to her. There are so many classes to choose from - varying from10 min to an hour in length so it's always possible to fit something in each day. Liz is very knowledgeable and makes each class fun - it really feels like exercising with a friend. I would absolutely recommend Pilates for Runners.

Pilates for Runners is perfect for people who cannot commit to classes at set times. Or if you like set classes, that option is there too. The website is full of past sessions, where you can search for sessions based on what you want to work (e.g. hips, shoulders, core etc) or based on the type of session (e.g. mobility, strength, stretching etc). I have been able to tailor my sessions to resolve my running niggles. Fantastic value for money. Thanks Liz 👍

I find the website excellent, so much choice to target specific areas or time you have available. The sessions have a good mix of strength and mobility with challenging options too. Liz's guidance is really clear and she is very knowledgeable. Fantastic!

Started doing Pilates with Liz a month ago after my daughter recommended it. We are both runners. I find their are lots of sessions which are easy to follow. The emails from Liz are helpful as well.

I did some of Liz's free 10 minute Kickstarter sessions in Jan and I thought - wow, some of this is so challenging for me, I really need to do more!
I took the annual membership (it’s a bargain!) and in just a couple of weeks since starting the beginner’s course, I’m already noticing a change in how I run.
Better posture, more efficient running, less aches and niggles, plus in day to day movement I feel I’m using my body better too.
I’m doing each session twice - for me this way is best for my body to learn new stuff.
And proof you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Totally chuffed that I found Liz.

I started with Liz after an injury and soon it became a fixture in my weekly routine. I love the small bitesize videos and find I now make time to do 10-20 minutes most days. It's great to focus on each aspect of the body and I've stopped avoiding things like balance (which I tend to find frustrating!) Liz's videos are informative and engaging and I find the time flies by and I feel like I'm really taking care of my body. I've finally taken time to work on mobility and recovery which used to get forgotten! Thanks Liz

I have been doing sessions from Liz at Pilates for Runners for over a year now and I absolutely love them! Liz is a great teacher, I love that you can join live classes or watch prerecorded sessions. Liz is really approachable and replies to emails quickly and I love that you can choose sessions on the website depending on your focus (strength, mobility etc) or time available (10-50mins). The sessions are suitable for all levels, she always provides modifications. You can tag your favourite sessions so you can find them again quickly and she puts together a suggested weekly schedule which is helpful when you need a bit of guidance. My physio suggested I do pilates and I've tried a few and Liz is by far the best. She gives great cues and gets straight to it, not talking too much at the start!

This site was recommended to me and I love it. Clear, easy to follow instructions at a pace I can follow. No frills so I feel super comfortable that I have what I need to participate. Great length of films, 20-30 mins, means I now do one every morning seven days a week. The best recommendation ever!

Loving Pilates for Runners - I had been prone to muscle tweaks and pilates was recommended - up popped Pilates for Runners on Instagram and I am now the day after my first 10k for 9 years and muscles are feeling pretty good today - thank you for helping me activate my core and glutes and remember the importance of warming up and cooling down

I started with the beginners pilates course in August 2021 and enjoyed the course so much I decided to subscribe and join the live online sessions. I like the fact that the sessions are tailored to runners and involve more time exercising from a standing position unlike other pilates courses I have done. I'm very inflexible but Liz provides easy and hard alternatives giving me something I can achieve now and something I can work towards. In the online classes she has also offered me advice on how to modify exercises to avoid aggravating injuries. My physio recently complimented me on my balance when doing calf raises, balance I have to attribute to the pilates classes where Liz has guided us through keeping good form while doing exercises such as calf raises.

I was fortunate enough to find Pilates for Runners through Instagram and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I think it's life-changing stuff!
I've been doing the sessions regularly for around a year now and recommend them 100%. I started with the 7-day free trial and very quickly decided to subscribe for a year. The instructions and explanations are always clear, both in the recorded sessions and the live classes. There are so many sessions to choose from and it's very obvious that Liz REALLY knows her stuff. The sessions are enjoyable and a brilliant addition to the conditioning work I do to support my running. But, I also feel that having classes which are so accessible and therefore easy to fit into my busy schedule are keeping me well-conditioned for my general life too. I hope to continue with Liz for as long as I possibly can. Thank you for all your hard work, its a gift for us runners. Shefali X

I've been running for about 20 years with a full back catalogue of every injury going - before a lightbulb moment when I was advised to start pilates. I'd been doing pilates for a couple of years before finding Pilates for Runners via instagram. I signed up in July 2021 for the individual Monday class, but soon took up the option to pay for an annual subscription which basically opens up the whole platform and historical classes/watch on demand options. The recordings are ideal to fit in during the week when you get a moment or fancy doing some stretch/post/pre run mobility or something short. I still aim to attend the Monday evening class as it keeps you accountable but Liz is such a great instructor and will keep you right on moves/posture. Liz will tailor moves to the level you want to work/push yourself to. Liz has been managing a knee injury but still shows up week in, week out to put us through our paces, she is incredible - always still smiling. I really enjoy her style, classes are enjoyable and I enjoy her humour. Pilates massively reduces my risk of running related injury and I'd recommend her classes for any runner. Do not underestimate the afterburn, you will love it (honest)!

Liz's sessions have helped me identify and target areas for improving strength and mobility and have contributed massively to finding some consistency in my training. Liz is always helpful and explains things in a way that makes sense to me and her sessions have become an important part of my training. Been doing Pilates with Liz for about 5 months now. Mostly doing the weekly schedule. The programme has really took my ultra running to another level, allowing me to train consistently and maintain race pace during races.

I am so glad I joined Liz Pilates for runners it has helped my overall posture , strength , mobility and mental health . I love being able to choose from a wide variety of on line pre recorded sessions anything from morning mobility , pre run, after run, strength ,core, , hips , and much more. Liz is a fantastic teacher so knowledgeable about pilates and running form . She is always available for advice to answer any questions and she has sent individual videos to help me to improve an injury . If you want to improve your running form or overall flexibility , strength and mobility Liz can help , You wont regret it !
