Great work

Ross came on time, and was very knowledgeable. He went through the whole process, asked if I had any issues. He then took apart the cleaner, cleaned it all and identified a few issues. Parts were replaced which he had in his van, and the cleaner was back as good as new.

Update to PHC: shows your level of disinformation, did you even take the time to read the detailed comment here? Agreed it’s not your 5 star you are looking for, but your immaturity shows a lot, have names of the engineer and the agent I spoke with, I intentionally don’t want to add them here to protect their privacy
Your first response is I am lying, so sorry as it’s people like you that kill a good company, I support the mission of PHC by repairing items rather than the conventional throw away and buy a new one, but your level of customer support or no support in this case will cost this company dearly

I am glad everything is recorded as I have nothing to gain by lying, rather than reading the review and finding away to seek a resolution for both parties you engage in childish antics of calling your customers liars

Well here are my rebuttal for your dates as I have the timestamps on my phone

1. Engineer came 26/7. 40 mins late with no reason or apology, just a look in the face saying rebook if you want (unprofessional, but again I wanted my vacuum working so i opted for the option of him taking it away)
2. Engineer called 30/7 saying they can swap parts between Vacum but I will have to pay for filter. No mention of filter been out of stock. I have paid for a filter in the last visit, I have not used the Vacum since then so selling another filter when clearly mine wasn’t damaged or bad in my opinion is a low blow. Engineer also said he can get a filter fitted in and drop both Vacum back before 2/7
2b. I noticed I had the engineer number that called me on the 26/7 so I texted him 19/7 enquiring when the Vacum will be back as I will be travelling, no response
3. I called on 2/7 to PHC by 4pm enquiring when it will be dropped off, call centre agent said she doesn’t know and will call me back immediately (no call back)
4. I called on 3/7 by 4:26pm nonchalant agent telling me if I am worried about the pick up date to far in advance I should come and get it, - bit disappointing by but I said great, give me your address and as she clearly said it’s ready and no one to drop it off, she then said wait, we can only allow engineer drop off next week? This is what got me

Poor customer service, very poor engineer

This will be my third time of using PHC so I guess the joke is one me.

I have a Miele vacuum and sadly PHC is the only company that fixes Miele in my area

First time I used PHC was for servicing a Dyson , I’ll be honest, not a major difference after the work was done, I could empty the bag myself, I thought the ere was something more to it, the engineer was very pushy on getting me to have a new filter,

Second time was for a Miele, this time the suction was poor, I paid for service and a new filter, I also spotted the head was not working at all, I thought service will fix that but after the service it didn’t work at all, so all I had was a clean vacuum.

I decided to call again, as I had another Miele vacuum that is identical to the last one, but a bit older, all I needed was the head to be replaced from the one to another

I was charged for 2 bookings, even though what I wanted was just parts from one Vacum to be moved to another

The slot was booked for 5:30pm, I waited for 30 mins and no show, I had to call customer service who gave a silly excuse that he was held up, but still no message to me, 1 hour late and I was on my way out when the engineer came, no apology or anything all he said is you can cancel if you want.

I had an appointment to go for so we agreed he will take both vacuum machines and do the fix, bring it back in 2 days

I get a call 3 days later that a swap can be made but I have to pay for a new filter (I totally forgot I paid for filter not to long ago) and we concluded with him bringing back the machine that in 3 days

It’s been over a week, I call everyday because I need a vacuum, I have kids and the house is messy, and the excuse I get from the call centre is that someone will call you back tomorrow,
Imagine giving the snarky excuse 3 days in a roll

I still don’t have both vacuum cleaners as of 03/07
They took it 26/06

I have paid over £200, biggest regret is that I should have used that money to get a new vacuum,

Further to our initial answer below - Mr Ovuorho, on a recorded telephone line you booked an appointment for 5:30pm. Our engineer's GPS tracked electronic tablet shows him arriving at your home at 5:38pm. In your Trustpilot review you stated he was 30 minutes late and in your Facebook review you stated he was 1 hour late. We will not tolerate your lies and bullying any longer. We will return your two vacuums to your home and refund the full cost to you and you can find someone else to fix them. We refuse to serve you. - 'Mr Ovuorho, your comments are totally untrue. You called us at 15:02 on 19/06 and booked a service for two Miele vacuum cleaners. All of our calls are recorded and at no time did you mention swapping parts from one vacuum to another, which we would have refused to do. We do not do bodge repairs cleaners. At no point during any previous services have you mentioned any dissatisfaction. We apologise that the engineer was running late but we drive on same roads you do and sometimes delays are inevitable. You admit the engineer offered to rebook the appointment but you asked him to continue. In fact you asked him to remove the vacuums and return them when complete at no point was two days mentioned. We have not been giving you excuses, we are working as fast as we can but if we do not have part(s) in stock. Inevitable we have to wait for them to arrive. In response to your edited comments - You are forgetting that all of our telephone calls are recorded and at no time did any staff member give you a time frame to call you back.'

John was very chatty and did a good job. The only thing was the price charged for the filters was well over the top and can be purchased online for a fraction of the price I was charged.
