The positive about the crate is that it is the only one I could find that is designed to fit in a hatchback car and perfectly fits my Audi A3 Sportback. The negatives are that it is not as substantial as some other travelling crates and the frame is not rigid when erected. But the major downside for me, it does not have a solid base. It has a base liner, made from a plastic canvas fixed around a frame and comes with an additional thin acrylic pad. This means that the dog has the discomfort of feeling the metal crate bars under it unless I add thick bedding of my own. My dog, who is a restless traveller, does not like having bedding under her feet as it makes her feel insecure and will scratch it all up out of the way. This means she is effectively sitting on the crate bars which also makes her feel insecure. So she refuses to get in the crate. For the high price of the crate a solid, removable, base should be included.

Pretty good crate for the money. Just a couple of sharp edges at the bottom of the door opening easily fixed with a bit of strong tape

I ordered a double cage for my Peugeot 3008 which arrived in a few days. While waiting for the cage to be delivered, I had to contact customer service by email. Their response was fast and extremely helpful, giving me the information I wanted.
When the cage arrived I found it easy to erect and it fitted in the car perfectly. So I am very pleased with it.
A couple of issues which I would like to point out. I had had a rear view camera fitted to my car the week before I ordered the cage I had to disconnect this camera as the rear door would not close because the cage was very close to the rear window. As many cars are now fitted with dash cams maybe when manufacturing these cages a slight adjustment to allow for a rear camera would be great.
Secondly, the cage came with a soft floor which left my dog sitting on the cage bars at the bottom of the cage and with long journeys I would think this might be uncomfortable for the dog. The cage did come with a very thin covering which made the dog slide a little when cornering. So a hard no slip floor would be would stop this from happening, even if it cost a few pounds more. I did cut up the cardboard box the cage arrive in to use as a hard floor and that seemed to solve the problem but its not ideal.
Overall, this cage keeps my dog contained and safe while travelling and I am pleased with my purchase.

Fitted into my jeep grand cherokee OK no problems erecting all fitted together good no rattles. Only the one thing I didn't like there isn't a tray or a hard flat surface on the bottom of cage.

Can’t complain. Reasonably priced. It does rattle when going over jumps or uneven surfaces but I haven’t fit the rubber clips on yet, maybe it’ll reduce the rattling but I’m not sure if it’ll fix it all together.

Fits in my seat Leon st perfectly, the shape gives me lots more boot space, easy to assemble and my dogs are safe
