It made a lovely gift for a friend who is a dog lover.

Unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with this company. Having seen the decent reviews on here I ordered a planter - I added a message about this being a gift for my Mum as her beloved dog had passed away and I wanted to create a little corner in her garden for Willow, I had no response. A while after ordering I still had no word on delivery, I checked the tracker which did not work. I emailed just to ask if they could see it from their side, I needed to try and figure out when it would arrive as I was due to go on holiday, I just got an email back of waffle and essentially telling me to be patient and give them a chance.

I received the item and unfortunately it was not what I expected. My first impression was they sent me a small instead of a large, but the info said large. I attempted to slot it together but it wouldn’t fit in properly, leaving large gaps. It also wasn’t how I expected the quality to be, from the description I thought it would be hardier, this bowed under pressure and the material just didn’t seem to be something that would do well outside all the time like advertised. In general I wasn’t satisfied so I looked on the site about a return.

It says, and I took screen shots, that they will accept returns without question and issue a refund. It gives an email to contact about a return, so I emailed and requested one.

There began the real issues. I was told the product was good quality and to keep it and they would refund £8. I replied to state that I’d like to return it as the item just wasn’t satisfactory, and we went back and forth where essentially the company just simply refused to take it back. I sent pictures, they said to push harder to slot the thing together (which I’d obviously tried very hard to do), and I reminded them of my other issues with the item and wanted to return it. They offered £12 and a new planter, which I had to refuse as I didn’t want another one at this point (also shipping a new planter free when they could just refund the money was the same difference) - they apologised but also were quite firm in that I had to keep it and kept asking for a chance and saying they were a good company with good products, and in the end I had to just ask them whether they would follow their own policy or not - well it’s not.

If there is anything wrong with your planter, if you’re dissatisfied for any reason, please be aware that what is written on the website is NOT true. They will not issue a refund and would rather ship you another item with a random token bit of money back than just accept the return and refund.

Additionally they just refused to listen to what I was telling them. Giving me a new one with a bit of money back would have cost them more than just refunding me, but they refused to listen to why I was dissatisfied and seem more preoccupied with claiming they were a good company.

I did consider going to the ombudsman and I did say I would, and if it was more money I would, and if I had more time to do it on the principal I would, but I don’t want to waste the precious time I have around a busy job and a busy home life to deal with this company who essentially lie on their site.

I would not recommend trusting them.

Ordered a Schnauzer plant pot arrived fairly quickly flat packed and was very easy to assemble would highly recommend as it is made well from a plastic therefore it will not rot. Very happy with this purchase and my wife absolutely loves it

I bought a cat toy ball for my sister as a gift. She is delighted with it and she says the cat is delighted too.

Absolutely love my doggy planter. It was far too cute to put outside in the elements, so it has gone in my spare bedroom - frequently used by my grandaughter and two nieces - with pens and coloured pencils in. They love it too.

Really pleased with the look of my two items. I got the key holder and the kitchen roll with a beagle. They are so cute and look exactly how I wanted.

Only slight issue, the kitchen roll gets stuck on the base so doesn’t pull nicely. Wonder if there is anything that can be done to improve that factor!

Did take a while to come so just had to be patient. Probably 3 weeks.

Got my sister one for her birthday. She loved it!

Overpriced rubbish a very disappointed present

So basically if I removed my review I would receive a refund. I refused this as I had been fair and honest with my review and did not want other people to get into the same loop of emails if they wished to return an item. We are now in excess of 25 emails and trading standards are involved as their terms and conditions are a work of fiction.
This company is clearly not in the UK as states on their website, they are clearly in China, they have now told me that I will have to pay £5 to return the item, I pointed out that if they were in the UK I could return if for less than a pound 2nd class as it will fit through a letter box. I also copied and pasted their returns policy as shown below from their terms and conditions.

5. Shipping Costs
Free return shipping. We cover the cost of return shipping, so you don't have to worry about any hidden fees or expenses.

The above is clearly a lie as they are now asking me for £5 to return the item. This is not about the money, if they ever refund this item I will give the money to charity, this is about a company that believes it can lie to its customers.
Please do not buy from this company, the item I bought is cheaply made and not worth the money I paid for it, the glasses did not fit as shown on the illustration. It may all go well if you are happy with the item and wish to keep it, but if you have a problem, which we did, you will faced with multiple emails and no resolution.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS..

I ordered a planter on November 24th which was intended as a Christmas gift. The original product arrived damaged, I understood that this happens sometimes and petwithhome sent out a replacement part straight away. By the time the replacement came it was now January and was also sadly faulty. At this point I requested a refund (as the website states is easy to do). I have gone backwards and forwards with emails for days and days where each time I’m offered new parts and a small reimbursement. I have requested a refund 6 times and am still yet to receive confirmation that I will get one. I would not recommend this company at all.

Ordered a Donald Trump toy for a small dog. Arrived quickly and well packed, and true to description. Made of good, strong material and, while I expect it'll get shredded eventually, it's going to take him a while!
Great little thing but will likely give old Trump a haircut beforehand as that can be chewed off easily and swallowed, otherwise it would have been a solid 5 stars

ordered 3 planters which failed to arrive from China...no response from customer services....I want my money back!!!

If I could give zero stars I would . Thought this was a UK based company and then the tracking info showed as china . These planters are lovely to look at BUT as they are made out of fairly cheap wood and only slot together , they won’t last long outside . Bought large and for the size they are , very expensive . Have tried to contact this company but they’ve failed to respond to emails . Thankfully I paid via PayPal so it’s now in their hands . I’ve posted a review on their website but they won’t publish it because it’s a bad review . That’s why nearly all of their reviews are 5* because they only publish good ones which makes us think they are a good company to deal with . Thankfully Trustpilot allow us to be honest
