Tour is very good. No surprises. Tour guide Ann Tsao is outstanding! She is very knowledgeable, professional, provides very good services!

Ann, the tour guide, was the highlight of our tour. Her deep knowledge and passion for Iceland were incredible! She did not just show us places; she told the stories behind them, making everything come alive. She is truly a valuable asset of Peony Tour! I also want to extend my sincere compliments regarding the vegan food provided during the trip. The food was amazing, they really went above and beyond! Thank you for making this scenery and culinary journey so memorable!

Good service and experience

Our Gems of Europe tour was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We traveled from London to Parix, Lucern, Milan, Venice, Florence, and Rome. The itinerary was very well planned, allowing us to see so many attractions in a short amount of time. Even when some sites were closed, our tour guide, Ocean, improvised seamlessly and made sure we got to experience even more. Ocean was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and really enhanced the journey. I would definitly join another Peony tour - especially with Ocean!

We had a wonderful experience on this tour and enjoyed whole journey with our tour guide Jeffery. He is very knowledgeable and have done an exceptional work. Specially, Jeffery took tremendous care of elderly and was much appreciated by everyone. I strongly recommend this tour and specially go with Jeffery.

Most hotel & restaurants accommodations were excellent. Menu coordinations between restaurants will improve trip experience such that we don’t have to eat the same type of food for the entire trip. Overall ratings are very good!

Peony tours is a reliable travel agency. I have been join their 3 different Europe tours in last two years. Every one was great experience. Their tour guides all very helpful and knowledgeable. I will keep join their other tours in the future.

I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the service provided during the final days of our recent trip, which fell below acceptable standards in several key areas.

On September 15th, upon our return to Urumqi, the bus driver parked directly on the street, against oncoming traffic, to unload luggage. This created a significant safety hazard, particularly for elderly clients in their 80s, and reflected poor logistical planning. Proper and safe drop-off procedures should be a basic expectation.

On September 16th in Beijing, a much smaller bus was provided, which could not accommodate all the luggage. Several pieces of luggage had to be stored in the aisle, creating another safety hazard and causing unnecessary inconvenience for the group. This marked a noticeable decline in service.

In addition to the transportation issues, the quality and planning of meals throughout the trip were often disappointing. Portions were inconsistent and the quality mediocre. A particularly concerning example was a lunch that included seven whole fish dishes—excessive, repetitive, and wasteful. Moving forward, menu planning should be reviewed to ensure greater variety, balanced portions, and a more thoughtful dining experience that better reflects the needs and preferences of the group.

I hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly to ensure that future trips meet the high standards that travelers both expect and deserve.

Overall, the trip to Xinjiang was very enjoyable, but the hotel accommodations were far below expectations and need serious improvement. The New Otari Hotel in Beijing was rundown and outdated. The breakfast dining area was far too small, leading to long waits each morning. The property clearly caters to large discount tour groups such as Gate 1, which does not match the standard Peony Tours promotes.

The Tianyuan International Hotel in Yining was even worse, and we were booked there for three nights. The condition and quality of this hotel in no way reflect the “luxurious” experience advertised. Both hotels were unacceptable for a premium tour package.

In addition, the 24-seat bus used on the trip had a 1+1 seat arrangement, but several seats were extremely narrow and could not recline due to the layout. Considering that many drives to scenic viewpoints lasted 6+ hours, the bus was uncomfortable at full capacity. For future tours, seating should be limited to fewer than 18 passengers on this type of vehicle to ensure a reasonable level of comfort.

On a positive note, I would like to recognize our national guide, Steven Hu, and our local guide, Ms. Zhao. Both did a fantastic job throughout the trip and provided excellent service to the group. Their professionalism and dedication truly enhanced the overall experience.

We went to Norway in late August 2025. It was another memorable journey delivered by Peony. The itinerary is well planed and tour guide, Mr. Sam Lin is friendly and capable. He managed this complicated trip without any glitches and added extra interesting spots when weather permit. The whole group felt lucky he was our tour guide.

Mr. Chen Wei was an excellent tour guide who took good care of all of us.
He is very knowledgeable. He spend time ro explain history related to the place we visit which made the trip very educational.
He always on time and efficient.

We had a wonderful tour experience to Spain and Portugal from 9/4-9/15 , Nathan Xue was our tour guide and he was exceptional. Nathan has deep history knowledge of Spain and Portugal. He is very nice and cheerful. He gave us overview of every major spot we visited. Hotels are excellent. Nathan always lead us to the best spots to take pictures and helped us take a lot of good photos. He made us travel so relaxed and enjoyable; My husband and I had great time. We highly recommend Penoy Tours and thanks Nathan as our tour guide.

It is the review about the Eastern Europe trip with the guide Wei Chen. The trip went smoothly and well organized. The guide did his job nicely especially he was very knowledgeable about the history of the countries we went. He always gave the details of the information we needed to know before we visited the place. It was a very good addition for our trip. Over all, we enjoyed the trip. However, the dinners can be improved for some places the food were not acceptable. We are willing to pay extra but have the opportunity to taste the local authentic meals.

We had a wonderful tour experience to Greece from 9/5-9/16 , Caro Hsu was our tour guide and she was exceptional. Caro has a deep history knowledge of Greece and tells many story of Greek mythology’s. She introduction and overview of every major spot we visited. She always smiles cheerful and elegant with self confidence, besides she told us how to enjoying the trip, share beautiful musics/song collections of hers.
Athen’s and Meteoa’s hotel are excellent. Aegean Sea cruise ship is another exceptional. Caro leads us watch world famous sunset in MYKONOS island again in SANTORINI Island which are so incredibly. All of above made us group of 4 travel so relaxed and enjoyable; We had great time and loaded of memories, we highly recommend Penoy Tours and thanks Caro as a tour guide.

We just finished our trip Peony Eastern Europe 9/11-22/2025. Our group leader is Mr Wei Chen.
We enjoyed this trip very much.
The itinerary was good arranged and our group leader Mr Chen was very kind, helpful and responsible. His humerus and speaking English and Mandarin fluently were a plus. We really like him. The bus driver Joseph was very careful and experienced.

Kudos to Wei Chen陳煒，our tour guide who took great care of all of us throughout the 12 day East Europe trip. My wife and I feel that he did his homework by studying European history and culture and provided succinct, useful and clear information throughout our trip. The places we visited are truly beautiful and fascinating. Without Mr. Chen’s patient explanations, however, we would have just looked at architectural marvels without some knowledge of their significance. My wife and I are thinking of joining another tour to possibly visit Spain and Portugal next year. We hope that Mr Chen will be our tour guide again.
