Joining Peninsula was one of the worst business and financial decisions I’ve made.

I was a young, inexperienced business owner when I signed a five-year agreement. In my view, the length and implications of that commitment were not made nearly clear enough, and looking back, I genuinely feel my inexperience was taken advantage of.

At the end of the original term, my contract was automatically renewed without any warning or notification. When I refused to continue paying, I was threatened with legal action. The only compromise Peninsula would offer was that I sign up for a further 12 months, after which they would finally allow the contract to end.

Over six years, I spent thousands of euros with Peninsula and got virtually nothing of value in return. The one time I genuinely needed HR support, I received no meaningful help whatsoever.

Looking at other reviews, it is clear I am not the only small business owner who has had serious concerns about how Peninsula operates. Based on my own experience, I found them extremely difficult to deal with and the entire experience was disgraceful.

I would never use Peninsula again. I would strongly advise any small business owner, particularly a young or inexperienced one, to read every word of the contract and fully understand what they are committing to before signing. I could not recommend Peninsula under any circumstances.

From our initial point of contact to the scheduling of our initial meetings with the HR and Health and Safety representatives was professionally undertaken and explained by Sophie.

If our future relationship with Peninsula is dictated by our first interactions we our in good hands.
