The onboarding process was super slick. There are various new regulatory hurdles to starting a payroll, but the company uses a lot of robust automated tools to implement their processes and I got through it quite quickly. There was a small error in the first submission but they jumped on it super fast and fixed it literally within 5 minutes. Their staff are very helpful, professional, and super friendly.

The Pay Check team are highly knowledgeable and efficient. The on-boarding process was very smooth. Excellent, responsive communication. If you are thinking of outsourcing your payroll I would highly recommend Pay Check.

I am leaving one start review simply because there is no option to leave zero.

We use paycheck as an outsourced payroll provider. We are reconsidering using them currently as they made a huge error with paying employees' taxes over a period of time which was only just picked up months later (costing just under £6K). The error is due to their assumption on what is an ex-gratia payment and how it should be processed - Tax free or not.

the Paycheck officer assumed this is non taxable- without proper checks and now paycheck is not wanting to take responsibility and own up to the mistake. Of course this will now cost more money, as we are considering the legal route and negligence. It would have been easier for them to just accept responsibility and own up to their mistake.

Their reasons are not acceptable and ask us to check reports before processing. If we need an in house payroll specialist to check the payroll and tax payments, this removes the need for an outsourced payroll provider. Very disappointing.

While there have been errors in the past, for example, processing change of address for wrong employee resulting in a data breach that we needed to report, this latest mistake is by far the worst, hence this review.
