We stayed at Lux House on the Water in Amsterdam in October 2026 with our three teenage sons. The houseboat was exactly as pictured. Small be surprisingly spacious, clean and well equipped. The property was perfectly decorated with a high-end design aesthetic. The location was great in the De Pijp area of Amsterdam, walking distance from fantastic dining, shops and pubs.
Our absolute favorite was the floating dock connected to the houseboat- we would sit there watching the boats go by relaxing and enjoying our time together. Leandro and Valerio were perfect hosts. Oh and the cabin spa was such a treat we all took turns using it after returning from long days of sightseeing.

My friends and I had a great stay! Leandro was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was so fun and it couldn’t have been in a better area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun stay in De Pijp!

It was a great and nice and big Boat. Negro to Amstel River. Kids enjoyed it a lot and it is the perfect place to be dir Ying your staying in Amsterdam. For sure much better than a simple Hotel. This is the place to have this great experience.
The Cabin Spa and Massage in the Boat was great and the terrace next to the River perfect for a morning breakfast or a nice viewing in the sunshine.
I recomend it 100%.

We had the best week staying on this house boat. The boat is spacious and has all the comforts you need for your stay. We loved the location as well it’s in a very nice part of town away from the chaotic city center but still close enough to get to every thing you need. We especially loved the floating dock where we spent every evening watching the sunset and watching the boats go by. I would highly recommend staying here for a truly unique experience.

We had a great time in Amsterdam! Everything was walking distance. The host was super helpful and friendly. Everything was wonderful! Would recommended this place to a group of 2 -4 people!

Four of us had a wonderful stay in this apartment hosted by Leandro in February of 2026. The apartment itself was clean, cosy, and comfortable. The neighborhood of Dr Pijp is beautiful and there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. It is easily walkable to the major museums and center of town. Leandro was communicative and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

The apartment was easy to find and get inside - the instructions are comprehensive. The place is well furnished and we were able to get the temperature right easily. Pay attention to the instructions about the stairs - they are steep - and you take any tours around Amsterdam while you're there you might find out why all stairs are steep in the city.

There were plenty of consumables left for our use, and the apartment is in a pleasant area with shops and cafes very close by. The guide was full of info, and our host was communicative both before and during the stay, checking in that everything was OK.

Lovely spot. 2- en suite bedrooms in de Pijp with A/C. Plenty of room for two couples. Very convenient. Love pub at the corner with lots of places to eat.

We had a fantastic stay at Papoontje in Amsterdam! The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city while enjoying a wonderful neighborhood.

I stayed in Leandro's apartment in De Pijp in August 2026, and I was extremely happy with my experience. Leandro made the communication and check-in experience very convenient. Leandro was very patient in answering any questions I had about the entire process of renting his place. The apartment itself is lovely - it has 2 En-suite bedrooms and an AC unit, which is a fantastic onvenience that is a rare find in many European apartments. The neighborhood De Pijp is near museums, as well as great restaurants, lots of bars, and overall has a very vibrant and positive energy. The apartment is very comfortable and the furnishings are beautiful and very creative. Leandro is super communicative, responsive and reliable. To summarize: Great host, great apartment, and a great neighborhood! I strongly recommend Leandro's apartment in De Pijp to anyone who will be visiting Amsterdam!!!

Leandro is an excellent host with great communication skills and responsiveness. His home is beautiful and ideally located for an amazing vacation in Amsterdam. We highly recommend Leandro. While on our trip we had a terrific time with a bike tour, canal tour, and food tour. The location is near the Van Gogh museum which was terrific.

We stayed at Leandro’s apartment at the beginning of June 2026 and had such a wonderful time! The location is honestly hard to beat. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, cafés, and little shops, and pretty much everything is within walking distance. It’s such a lively part of Amsterdam, but also very relaxed and perfect for families with kids. We really loved the atmosphere.

The apartment is beautiful, and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. Everything works as it should, the layout makes sense, and it really feels like someone’s home rather than a typical rental. The two bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, were especially convenient for our group of four.

Leandro was also a great host. Communication was easy from the start, and he always responded quickly whenever we had a question or needed anything. It made the whole stay feel very comfortable and stress-free.

We really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Amsterdam. Would absolutely recommend it, and we’re already hoping to come back next year!

Great home base for a trip to Amsterdam. Beautiful neighborhood and great apartment with 2 En-suite Bedrooms + AC in The De Pijp neighborhood near museums and great restaurants. Leandro was a great host and if we ever travel to Amsterdam we would definitely stay at his beautiful flat.

We stayed in the property "2 En-suite Bedrooms + AC · De Pijp near Museums" in June of 2026 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The apartment was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable, and it was truly in the most perfect location.

We were a short walk from an incredible market and had very easy public transport options right at our feet for all of Amsterdam. The neighborhood was a perfect blend of vibrant, but also quiet enough to get rest at night. All of the communication with Leandro was smooth and easy leading up to our trip, and we were lucky to be able to grab breakfast together while in the area. Overall, a great stay and we would do it again!
