Can’t live without these tapes! I’ve been using it for over a year and it’s all I’ve ever wanted - an overnight solution that balances out my eyelids. I’ve always had unbalanced eyelids - my left eye has a tapered eyelid while my right is a puffy monolid. It took me a few months to get the hang of using these tapes to form my eyelids because if placed incorrectly, the double eyelid wouldn’t form. But I will encourage you to have patience and keep trying. The biggest tip I have is to take photos of the tape placement every night so you know what worked and what didn’t. Unfortunately my eyelid turn back into a monolid if I don’t use the tapes for more than 2 days so I think I’ll have to keep purchasing it. It is a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it for my eyelids.

Truly horrible company, avoid business with them by all means if possible. I have so much to say about this company but I don't want to write a 500 word review so here's what i'll say.

Firstly - I bought $200 worth of tapes from them, paid $20 shipping, havent gotten my order for 4+ weeks, I contacted them and they told me to wait 6 weeks, I contact them again and they tell me to wait 8 weeks and if it doesn't come by then they will give me a 25% discount to buy the tapes again.. No replacement, no refund just a 25% discount.

Secondly - Awful customer service and very shady - If you say you have trouble applying the tapes they will advise you to contact them personally and supply photos/videos so they can guide you on how to apply them. What they don't tell you though is that they will use those photos/videos as advertisement on their social media and it will take you 2+ weeks of arguing with them to get your photos removed.

Thirdly - I've been using them for 7+ months now and they are NOT permanent, it's no different from buying regular eyelid tapes, you have to keep using them anyways so just go for the cheaper option and save yourself hundreds of dollars.

Edit: The "response" from this company is laughable, they claim I was "proud" of my progress but their results are TEMPORARY and they request photos right after use then portray it as if the results are permanent.

The last batch of tapes I ordered they told me to wait 4 weeks, then 6 weeks, then 8 weeks for them to arrive and then at the end offered a 25% discount for never getting the product, no replacement just a miniscule discount.

The "communication" and "photos and videos" they have are once again "results" that are literally right after taking the tapes off, they never lasted permanently and they still do not. If they were permanent I would've stopped purchasing from them long ago after getting my "permanent results" LOL

And that other review "andrew" is NOT me, I was at school during the time the review was posted, It's probably them writing their own review so they can jam some more responses into the review 😂

Also my review is a 100% accurate representation of my experience with this company - the fact they have to make a whole blog post about my review says a lot more than I've said about them so far....

the sticker backing is like a regular paper - not waterproof, which doesn’t make it easy to sit in my bathroom, contributes to overall cheap feeling, which doesn’t seem reflective of the price. i’m reluctant to use the N-tape because of the way it tugs upward on my lower lids all night (feels like it will cause sagging in the long run). these prevent me from using nightly so i cannot attest to the effectiveness. would request a refund, but the refund policy is convoluted and requires a phone call.

My experience with Optifold was really good. I used it about 3 years ago as I really wanted double eyelids before entering university. But invasive procedures are a no go… too scary 😟I was naturally born with small single eyelids and I didnt quite like it. Hence, why I took the chance to try out Optifold.

Ray assisted in finding the perfect fit for me and taught me how to use the tapes. Btw this really takes skills and practice… At the start I remember struggling alot with the tapes, even ripping of my eyelashes as I applied it too close to the lash line. 😂 But Ray told me that it is not the right way to apply the tapes. Really found their consultation so helpful. For anyone planning to use their tapes, the advice I will give is to patient because it does work magic loll.

I really love my new double eyelid cuz my eyes looks way bigger. But I still have a stubborn microcrease that is not yet gone. Planning to start on optifold again to iron out the crease such that I have a deeper eyelid fold :)

Watched every video and still can't get a property fold.. top tape makes it hard to close eyes to sleep but worse of all the top tape leaves a red mark on my face .. but mainly tried for 2 weeks straight and not a single fold holds once tape is removed.. impossible for this to make a crease last once tape is removed for me and definitely not something that can last a whole day.. wish I didn't jump the gun and buy 2 months supply

It was packaged well. Arrived in a pretty pink pouch.

The tapes are amazing. I now have double eyelids which I had somehow lost because of drooping eyelids.

My double eyelids started to be more noticeable after about 5 - 6 weeks. Very comfy to wear.

Yes it works, but not for everyone.

I was planning on getting double eyelid surgery before I found this product online. Gave it a shot as it's way cheaper and less invasive than surgery.

The biggest con though is that this is a challenging product to use. If you're a guy and never had to applying something carefully to your face, this will feel super awkward at first. It'll be easier if someone else does it for you, but it's doable on your own.

It took me around 2 weeks to feel comfortable with the product and for my eyelids to start normalizing into double eyelids. They're now permanent after a few weeks.

Good product if you have for the right profile. It may may take a while to experiment and find where to place the tapes but the business owner has given me tips to find it. A bit pricey and could take a while before you find the right place to fold for some people like me but it does work as advertised. The owner has been supportive and helpful after purchase.

I purchased these for my uneven eyelids and this is my second month using the tapes. Very cool concept and I've seen improvements with consistent use. Two things I do differently: 1. I cut them below the number 2 size because I'm not going for bigger lids, just evening it out. 2. I stopped using the U-shaped tapes that closes my eyes. I don't think they help for my situation and am finding success with just wearing the thick eyelid tapes all night.

I have small double eyelids and uneven eyes, which have caused me a lot of trouble. However, I happened to learn about Optifold and have been using it for about a year now, and it has greatly improved my eyes. I think it is a great advantage that double eyelids can be created or improved without surgery. If a branch office is established in Korea and there is no shipping fee, it would be very good. It would be even better if I could buy just one for the eye that needs it, like before. In conclusion, I am satisfied and plan to continue buying it until I have completely fixed my double eyelids

Owner is dedicated to ensuring you have good results and is very responsive. Saw improvements in creases after a month of use. Highly recommended!

Brilliant product and guidance from the owner Ray, even before I received my product, he assessed my case and provided tuition on what to do.

I had fast shipping and the product really works! After 5 years of having an uneven eyelid, it’s been solved thanks to this invention.

Check out his videos on You Tube, it geniuinely works. It’s worth every penny to get my confidence back. Definitely recommend this!

I’ve had uneven eyelids for most of my life and optifold has really helped even them out. I’ve used the tape for about a year and my eyelid can now go for a few weeks without having to reapply the tape. Hoping continued usage will make it permanent. Thank you!

Original date of experience: Apr 11, 2023. After using the advising service in late 2025 my results changed, so I’m updating this review.
I first rated 3/5 because I thought only size 3 worked for me and rubbing my eyes kept weakening the eyelid crease. I contacted Optifold and they reviewed my videos. They taught me to stop rubbing my eyes, especially in the morning right after removing the tapes and I didnt realize how much that habit was weakening the eyelid crease and once I stopped the result started holding better and longer. They also showed me the eyelid crease exercises and corrected my tracing so I finally knew exactly what to do. They explained that size 3 matches my eyelid shape and size, and I was wasting time trying to force the other sizes to work which only made things inconsistent. After keeping placement consistent, doing the exercises the right way, and sticking with size 3, my double eyelid crease have been lasting on their own without tapes for the past 2 months now. Changing to 5/5.

I've had an excellent experience with Opti-fold. There was a bit of a learning curve initially, but the founder Ray has been available and extraordinarily helpful whenever I've needed help, even for complicated requests.

I had asymmetric eyelids before, and they are now symmetric after using the tape, and they're lasting longer and longer. On one eye, the new eyelid is nearly permanent and on the other, it's getting there. This product works.

Working on fixing triple crease in Left eye.Been using these tapes since 2020. It really trains your eyelid. Used to wear them every night and now I wear them every 1-2 times a week when I feel my eyelid needs a little reminder boost. The amount of sleep can influence your results. Ray has always been very responsive to questions through the years and you feel supported.

I have had a “triple crease” on one of my eyes for a long time now and the Opti-fold tape literally fixed it overnight. I just followed their instructions closely and do the eyelid tracing exercise every morning and i can go for 1-2 weeks without having to do the tape again. The owner is also very responsive and helpful over WhatsApp. Highly recommend giving Opti-fold a try if you have uneven eyelids that bother you!
