Poor moral, and little customer service
Opia markets itself as a small sustainable business, and while its natural fibre clothing is nice and wearable customer service and customer satisfaction does not seem to be a priority to them. I received a dress that had clear pulling on the garment, for which I was “welcome to send it back and pay a postage fee”. I did this, however vowed not to buy from them again. Some friends however purchased a gift card as they knew I liked the style. When I received the tshirt I did not think to check it thoroughly due to trusting the ethics and ideals the brand appears to promote. After twenty minutes of wearing it while getting ready, I looked down and noticed a rip in the shirt. I again contacted the company, honestly explaining what happened and that I had removed the tags (I could have at this stage found the tags and returned it, however wanted to have an honest conversation). Despite multiple emails this issue was never responded to or rectified. To me this highlights a company with low morals, and little care for the customer.
