Very impressed with the high level of service and instant communication. Ordered a device and arrived in under 24 hours. Also couldn’t find the specific device available anywhere and Ooodles had it.

Ooodles support was incredibly quick in arranging the collection for repair and sending out a replacement device in the meantime, ensuring there was no impact on our operations.

Ooodles is great! We use over 50 devices from them because they offer a good variety of devices, respond quickly when I make contact, and take action as soon as possible when we need repairs, etc. They offer advice and support, and are consistently updating and improving their services!

Ending a contract should leave both sides feeling it was handled fairly. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience.

I made the mistake of assuming the leased laptop could be purchased for a nominal fee at the end, especially after paying nearly double its original value throughout the lease. At the point of termination, I could have bought the exact same model brand NEW online for £239. Instead, I was quoted £427.20 for a USED one. That is almost twice the current market price. Second hand ones are going for under £150.

I had to buy it because a departing employee took the laptop, again at our cost.

What’s obvious is that the finance team have used a basic depreciation formula for their balance sheet, completely ignoring the actual market value. The result is that I’m at least £200 out of pocket.

It feels opportunistic, as if they’re ready to jump on any customer mistake. It doesn’t feel like good business. It doesn’t feel fair. And it certainly doesn’t feel acceptable.
