Absolutely horrid company

Absolutely horrid company. The senior management team should be ashamed of themselves (if they even exist). I wouldn't be surprised if this company isn't just running ad hoc. No care for responsibilities just sheer incompetency!

Regeneration team of isle of dogs such…

Regeneration team of isle of dogs such incompetent team. They came to our house to make promises but later on denied everything.when we complain about the situation they put is in. They have manipulating all the facts.We provided all the information and medical letter they needed to move as like for like property but they still want us to take any property without a medical assessment from the council. One housing group are so sly.

Disgraceful

I have called and emailed everyday for an issue that has been going on for months yet it still has not been sorted and it doesn't even seem like they are trying. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and a waste of time. I've contacted switch two myself and even they cannot contact t the housing association properly. Absolutely disgraceful. Going back and forth with no solution and wasting money on service charge with nothing getting done

No hot water or heating for over 3…

No hot water or heating for over 3 weeks with no sign of repair ahead (the temperature has gone below -5, Dec '22).

Despite a multitude of complaints and extortionate service charges, One Housing has failed drastically once again. Being made to live without hot water or heating for this long is ridiculous. With revenue of around 307 million GBP, these criminals get away with murder, forcing the elderly and young children to live without basic amenities. If you are thinking of moving into or purchasing one of their properties I urge you not to, your life will be hell because of these people.

Horrendous service and indicía of fraud…

Horrendous service and inducía of fraud and financial abuse, plops city and misleading in many ways. We have a big number of complaints, all well documented with evidence and OHG never ever admits any wrongdoing. Our complaints get turned down by OHG in 1st and 2nd stage so the only options are FTT or Ombudsman, which we are seriously considering. We have sent them section 19 and 20 notices for the unreasonableness of service charges and they have sent several invoices to prove for their charges which really raise eyebrows. We will get to the bottom of this abuse

Very poor service

Very poor service. Nothing gets done apart from collecting service charge money. The block of flats I live in is mismanaged to put it kindly. Keys for utilities cupboards get changed yet residents are not given any. Gardening is shambles. Could go on and on. It's 0 stars from me

Horrendous company through and through

We lived in a shared ownership 1 housing flat for 10 years. They have consistently unprofessional, terrible, painstakingly slow, rude and unhelpful. Waiting weeks for things to be fixed, bills wrong going back years, substantial charges added to bills that they had agreed they would pay themselves, mishandling EWS1 form process leaving people stuck in there homes for YEARS without being able to move or remortgage, I can write a book of complaints. The reviews on this page speak for themselves, absolutely horrendous company with a system in place seemingly specifically designed so you can never get things done quickly or speak to any relevant person, switchboard staff who aren’t the most rude, demotivated people I have ever encountered. One housing, I hope you’re ashamed of yourselves.

lift charge bill of £4800 to pay in 9 months!!!

One Housing is charging me £1685 for a new lift (apparently there are no funds, so it's coming from the neighbours pockets)... When i called them to pay they said they miscalculated the charge, and now there is another £3200 on top for me to pay in 9 months instalments !!!. Is this even legal?. Can they just demand such a big amounts of money like that?...
And 2 years ago they gave me back £550 saying that they miscalculated (again) and i paid too much service charge. It really seems that this people don't know what they're doing. Is it the accountants fault?...I've been leaving in this flat for over 10 years and never had problems till now. I'm really concern, this sounds very fishy.

They are an absolute disgrace, they are the worst Housing Association ever.

They don't return your calls/emails, they don't care. They take your rent money but never do the repairs needed. I've been without a boiler for nearly a year, even the firm they use for annual Gas checks was angry about One Housing's lack of action and the repairs had still not been done. They overcharge you every year and take it off your bill 2-3 years later. The communal stairwell and passageways have never been repainted. They are a disgrace, stay well clear. They want as much money for doing absolutely nothing.

Horrible company with excessive bureaucracy and reluctance to help

We are in the process of moving in and there has just been one problem after another. Firstly, after being handed the keys, we discovered that many of the repairs had still yet to be done. This included major issues such as a faulty main door, broken steps on the staircase and a full sized fireplace which we specially asked to be removed (and in which they obliged) still intact. After dozens of phone calls and emails, we finally managed to get One Housing to send some builders for the repairs. It took them 2 weeks to send this repair team. Now today, we enter the flat only to be greeted with ankle level flooding, which not only ruined the carpet underlay we put on a day before, but the water had seeped to both our neighbours flats on either side and severely drenched the neighbours below us. It took 7 hours for One Housing to respond and still the problem has not yet been resolved. One Housing is a fraud of a council and I urge anyone reading this to not become its tenants.

No stars deserved. Pathetic service. Pathetic management. Really surprised that a country like the Uk has companies like this. No transparency. No customer service. Time for the government to dissolve this company.

Terrible landlords

Terrible landlords. Prices doubled in a few years. Plus I've never once had a response to any email I've sent them. Not once.

Do not buy one of their properties.

Do not buy with One Housing

I have been trying to sell my property and at every turn One Housing has delayed the process to the point in which a buyer pulled out.

The customer service is terrible and they take forever to respond or just don't respond at all

Dreadful experience with this Housing…

Dreadful experience with this Housing Group. When my husband died they made it extremely hard for me to have his name removed from correspondence. I have continuously asked them why I'm.paying service charges when I live in a house they do not maintain and now they have raised my Building Insurance by 80%! I would advise people to avoid dealing with One Housing. They are totally incompetent.

These people don't answer emails or phone calls or see any issues through.

These people don't answer emails, don't return phone calls, don't seem to have any internal tracking process monitoring what they need to do, or have any management practices in place so that they can keep track of the things they are supposed to be doing to support the residents who pay for their services.

The management is clearly pathetic and need to get a grip on how this company is ran.

DISGUSTING AND ILLEGAL

The communal front door to our building which houses over 20 flats has been jammed shut since Saturday lunch time. 2 DAYS THAT WE HAVE NOT HAD ACCESS IN OR OUT OF OUR BUILDING via the front door. The only way in or out is via the bike store which all flats only have 1 key for between all tenants as it is a protected key that can't be copied. This is a serious risk to life more than anything given if one tenant has the key to the bike store and is out of the property then those left inside are stuck and cannot get in or out. In the event of a fire they would all burn to death. Been told since Saturday an engineer is on his way and now it's 2 days later and no one has come. I am going to be reporting this matter to the police and the housing ombudsman. I am also going to call the fire brigade to break down the front door if this is not sorted today.

One bunch of cowboys

Unfortunately, there is no minus zero option. Words escape me. Tenant for over 31 years, same story every time. They will do their utmost to do the opposite of a good job by completely ignoring you in the first instance. Largely staff without housing qualifications, who do not know what they are doing. They also sign off emails stating they are this and that, such as surveyor with no surveyor qualifications or sufficient knowledge to assess complex repairs issues. Housing officers do not know regulations and will make it a point to not enforce their own policies!! I have letter from ASB officer neighbour was in contravention and from housing officer, neighbour was not in contravention. Its a very dangerous type of organisation to be managing housing. The officers are rude bullies, condescending, aggressive etc, and they refuse point blank to even apologise for anything, even when they messed up your plumbing, flooded your place and left you with severe damp and mould causing respiratory issues and skin infections. Nothing ever gets moving without a stage 1 complaint. Imagine, you need to do a stage 1 complaint to even get an appointment! Their shiny corporate days are over. They are all going to be restructured and booted out by Riverside. All those lovely huge pay packets from our rents. Overpaid and totally useless. Currently being forced to learn about damp and mould so I can advise their 'surveyor' what needs to be done.
