Overall Review
Pleased with the shipping packaging. Live in Florida so it needs to stay cold till it gets to the freezer. Ollie does a nice job with that.
Enjoy the packaging of the food itself. No scissors necessary. Easy pull back tab. Straight forward.
It has now been a few weeks and Ellie Mae is itching less, skin looks good. She even seems to smell better.
We went from a beef and chicken diet to pork and lamb and honestly, all for the better. She devours her food now, licks the bowl clean. We were feeding her Fresh Pet and while she ate it, nothing like the way she now eats Ollie.
Unfortunately we did not find Ollie until after we retired so for us, an expense we need to work into the budget. Will more than likely supplement Ollie with Fresh Pet pork roll to make it last longer.
We do appreciate your product. Our girl is definitely showing health improvements because of it.

It’s also amazing to hear about the positive changes you’re noticing with Ellie Mae. Less itching, healthier skin, and even smelling better are all signs we love hearing about. And the fact that she’s licking the bowl clean and enjoying her pork and lamb meals so much definitely makes our tails wag over here!
We completely understand that fresh food can take a little planning to fit into the budget, and we truly appreciate you making space for Ollie in Ellie Mae’s routine. The most important thing to us is that she’s happy, thriving, and enjoying her meals.

I love the Customer Service! Multiple times I’ve had to change my dogs subscription order and the help is incredibly responsive! My dog is very finicky. We have had to try every dog food brand and she is so excited for every meal. Plus she’s lost weight, which is what we were striving for. Treating Customers RIGHT!
My Service Dog and I have been Ollie Customers for many years. We’ve always been able to count on them for quality and consistency in their portioned dog food meals. The food smells and looks like what I would expect from that chub’s ingredient list. And my dog absolutely loves it. He looks forward to each meal time, when I pull the Ollie Orange and White container out of the fridge.
TWICE the wonderful folks at Ollie have come through for us in superlative fashion.
- One shipment, several years ago, showed up where half or more of the frozen chubs arrived with splits in the plastic wrappers. I called to note this for future shipments, and they completely replaced the entire order for us. No hesitation.
- Today, I called them because I had very recently moved and forgot to change my address with Ollie before my latest monthly shipment was already on the way. The rep on the phone was polite and tried her best to reroute my order to my new residence. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to catch it in time.
So, she did the next best thing. “As long time customers, we’re going to replace your order and ship this one to your new address. Can you have anyone pick that up and save it for you?” Again, no hesitation to take care of their customers.
If THAT doesn’t tell you exactly why you should pick OLLIE to feed your canine companions, maybe you should get a cat.

Izzy our pup unfortunately won’t touch…
Izzy our pup unfortunately won’t touch Ollie’s dog food. She looks at it and turns her head. She did have some when first received and since then won’t go near it if it’s served. I tried putting cheese toppings on the food but still no luck. I now have all these frozen packets and don’t know what to do with them given they’re taking up a lot of space in our freezer. Disappointed 😞

A few tips that sometimes help with picky eaters include adding a small splash of warm, low-sodium bone broth to enhance the smell, slightly warming the food to bring out the natural flavors, or gradually mixing it with her previous food during the transition. Sometimes even stirring or fluffing the food can make it more appealing.
