SCAM
SCAM. This company is part of the same organization that owns Ditorn.com and Zapostore.com.
At checkout for purchasing one item, there is a screen that pops up asking if you want a warranty and expedited shipping for an extra 10$. I selected no, and was automatically taken to the next screen where it said, "Thank you for selecting expedited shipping and warranty!" I immediately called the customer service number and was helped by someone who said the $10 would be refunded. After three weeks, the charge still hadn't been reversed, and I had been charged an additional $10 from a one of the sister websites. Then, three weeks later, another random charge for $40 appeared on my credit card statement.
I thought I was purchasing one item for thirty some dollars. Now, between all the extra and unauthorized charges, I'm out $93.
I called customer service again to try and rectify the situation, and their customer service is HORRENDOUS. I have worked customer service, I know what it's like, so I try to be patient and kind during these calls. When I called I was waiting for so long that I went to an answering machine. I hung up and called again. This time someone answered, but before I could finish explaining to him what the problem was he hung up on me. I called back and tried to explain the problem again. He kept talking over me, had the gall to tell me to stop interrupting him, basically told me I was stupid, and got more and more passive aggressive throughout the phone call. He refused to confirm the amount I was going to be refunded IF my request for the return was confirmed.
NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS BEHAVES THIS WAY.
I will be reporting the items as fraud with my credit card company.
