Really positive experience working with Ben.

The initial outreach experience was everything you could want. Ben Symonds was thorough in explaining the role that we were exploring as well as sharing his experience with the company and prepping me for an initial interview and in person interview. He was there every step of the way. Additionally, he was available and so kind. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the personal care field looking for their next chapter.
Unfortunately, for the role we explored, while the JD was a perfect match on paper and aligned with my expertise and what I love about project management; the organization and leadership oozed nothing but red flags. Leadership was very high on themselves and made sure to insert they are the "founders" and "know everyone" in every question and point. At least the misrepresentation was obvious. I have been so fortunate to have held roles in incredible organizations with true leadership throughout my career. However, there will definitely be candidates that can fit that organizations mold.

Unfortunately the downside was organization, but as far as Ben Symonds goes, he has every attribute you could possibly want in a recruiter. Professional yet, kind. He takes the time to really get to know the candidates and provides outstanding advice and feedback. The prep provided is unparalleled. He makes the process everything a candidate needs and looks for when beginning their career search.

For me, I started the search for my next venture on my own and am grateful enough to have been able to explore various opportunities. A key factor to make that leap is longevity (growing organization, strong leadership, professional yet supportive culture and role I can provide a positive impact on). It's worth waiting for the right opportunity. In the meantime, providing support to organizations to help implement and train on PM and MRP software and help create tailored timeline templates has provided levels of learning and knowledge I could not have imagined.
