From the moment we were picked up by Ali this entire tour was superbly well put together. We had an amazing guide, Abdou, in Cairo who took us to Giza and as an archaeologist was able to provide excellent and up to date information while showing us the pyramids and sphinx. Actually being inside the Great Pyramid was unforgettable.
The tour stepped up a gear again with the cruise. We met Ashraf, our guide for the main part of the tour, and he was just so kind, helpful and informative the entire time. Relaxing on deck on hot summer afternoons after temple trekking in mornings is heaven. All pick ups, flights and meals were delivered perfectly and the service on board the Princess Sarah II was outstanding, we were well taken care of.

We just returned from an unforgettable adventure in Egypt with Nourbelle Tours, and I can’t recommend them enough! Our group of friends booked one of their Egypt vacation packages from the USA, and everything was seamless from the start. The highlight? Definitely the Grand Egyptian Museum—seeing Tutankhamun’s treasures up close was beyond anything we imagined. We also explored the Pyramids of Giza and Sakkara, and our Egyptologist guide brought ancient history to life in such an engaging way. The Nile River Cruise was a dream—luxurious, peaceful, and packed with history. Nourbelle made us feel safe, informed, and inspired every step of the way.

We absolutely LOVED the Pharaoh’s Nile Cruise Adventure we booked through TourRadar. It hit all the highlights you think of in Egypt in ~6 days; the other 2 days were travel. Because of the short time there were some really early days, but we were prepared for them. We added a Sakkara and Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) on a day early, and and extra day at the end for a tour of Old Cairo. Adding Sakkara at the beginning set the stage starting with the first pyramid. Adding an Old Cairo tour at the end tied everything together and brought us up to the present. Our guides were amazing! Abdou in Cairo is an archaeologist and gives great background and context to the sites. In Upper Egypt (the South), Saladino was an Egyptologist, also extremely knowledgeable, and funny. Both guides were also patient, considerate, and very accommodating to our physical challenges and very responsive to our needs. I was also impressed with their enthusiasm for the history and how they made sure tourists respected the sites. If we come again, we would want to have them! The cruise down the Nile was lovely; it was nice to have the ship as the base, but the ship, its beverage offerings and to an extent its food were mediocre. But we probably got the level we paid for. Even so, all in all, it was a great trip that I would do again.

I planned this first trip to Egypt with 4 friends. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The itinerary was planned and executed well. The tour guide was knowledgeable and a joy to work with. We felt safe and received first class treatment. I highly recommend this tour and the tour company.

I arrived a day early and decided to take the Alexandria tour before the official itinerary began. The guide for this excursion was friendly, knowledgeable, and highly attentive, setting the tone for what would be a well-organized and enriching trip.

When the official tour began, I was joined by 19 other travelers who quickly became friends. We started with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, where our guide made sure I had the full experience, even arranging a camel ride and providing a traditional scarf. Seeing the pyramids up close was a breathtaking moment. Afterward, we visited the Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the guide navigated us through the crowds efficiently while providing insightful historical context.

We then flew to Luxor, where we met our main guide for the rest of the trip, Saladino. He was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and always ensuring our safety. We visited Karnak Temple early in the morning, which was perfect because there were no crowds, making the experience truly special. Later, we explored Luxor Temple, followed by a horse carriage tour through the city, an enjoyable and unique way to see Luxor’s local life. That evening, we boarded our Nile cruise (Redemis), which turned out to be the highlight of the trip. The ship was exceptionally clean, the service was excellent, and the entire cruise experience was magical.

On my birthday, I had the incredible opportunity to take a hot air balloon ride over Luxor—an unforgettable experience. We then visited Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, where Saladino continued to provide in-depth explanations of Egypt’s rich history. The highlight of the day was the Valley of the Kings, where I was able to get an additional entrance to the tomb of Sety I, thanks to Saladino’s assistance. Despite the crowds, the experience was absolutely worth it. That night, the staff on the cruise surprised me with a birthday cake and a small celebration, making my special day even more memorable.

As we continued our journey, we visited the Temple of Horus in Edfu before sailing to Kom Ombo, where we explored the temple dedicated to Horus and Sobek, the crocodile god. The evening on the cruise was especially lovely—watching the Nile River scenery pass by, enjoying delicious food, and experiencing top-tier service. The cruise also offered additional activities such as “falafel social” and “tea time,” which added to the enjoyment of the trip.

One of the most incredible days was visiting Abu Simbel in the morning, where I was completely in awe of the grand temple of Ramses II. It was one of the two moments in the trip that gave me goosebumps—the other being my first sight of the Great Pyramid. In the afternoon, we visited the Nubian Village, an incredibly colorful and welcoming place that offered a unique cultural experience.

In addition to the scheduled itinerary, the tour included several extra experiences that were not in the official program but were fantastic. We visited a place where they demonstrated how papyrus is made, a spice store with high-quality products, and an alabaster workshop where artisans put on a show demonstrating how they carve the stone. We also visited the Aswan Dam, a fascinating stop that provided more context on Egypt’s modern engineering marvels.

Throughout the trip, Saladino was an exceptional guide—friendly, highly intelligent, and always making sure we were safe and comfortable. He truly took care of the group like a father figure, which was exactly the kind of support needed in a country as culturally rich and different as Egypt.

This tour exceeded all my expectations. It provided a well-rounded experience of Egypt, from historical wonders to cultural immersion, all while being stress-free and expertly organized. I must also mention Harry, the behind-the-scenes group leader, who handled all the logistics, ensuring smooth connections between flights, guides, and excursions. His initial briefing upon arrival in Cairo set the stage for a perfectly structured tour.

I recently traveled to Egypt with my 17-year-old son for a tour of Cairo and a 5-day Nile River cruise, and I can’t express enough how wonderful the entire experience was. We were initially a bit nervous about traveling alone, but every step of the journey exceeded our expectations!

We did a 9 day Egypt tour in November. The whole tour was amazing, well organised and our guides were all friendly and knowledgeable. They even upgraded us to suites in Cairo and on the Nile cruise which was a lovely surprise. There was a mix up with the starting day of our tour. And we missed the first days itinerary. Ahmed ensured we got to do this day at the end of our stay so we did not miss anything in the end. Highly recommend this company!

It’s been many years since I first discovered Egyptian and the Ancient Wonders of the World in school. Finally making this Bucket List trip has exceeded my expectations! Egypt has so much more to offer than the Great Pyramids. I did the Nile Adventure Odyssey with the 7 day cruise and was overjoyed at my experience! Ahmed (the Manager), Abdul (my Cairo tour guide and archaeologist) and “King Ahmed I” (my Luxor tour guide and Egyptologist) took excellent care of me while on tour. Any question or request I had was quickly answered and I was provided excellent ideas on where to shop, eat and soak up the culture. All the local craftsmen, artisans, restaurants and vendors all gave me an amazing look at the Egyptian culture. I took advantage of as many excursions as possible and was asking for more. I particularly loved the tranquility of Saqqara and the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel. The views are breathtaking and I feel like every picture is a masterpiece! Any history buff, world traveler or nomad can find something wonderful about Egypt but I highly recommend The Nile Adventure Odyssey and Nourbelle Tours. You won’t regret it! Aside from the expected tourist stops, the cruise on the Nile was transformative. Sailing up and down the Nile while seeing Egypt at daybreak, dusk or night was incredible. The colors, sounds, flavors all added to one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. This 11days tour is well organized with very good guides passionate about their history. Abdu shared his archeology knowledge at the Giza pyramid and ancient city of Memphis, near Cairo .A day trip to Alexandria helped me to understand the Greek Roman period and it was beautiful at the Citadel to walk along the Mediterranean Sea. I enjoyed the 5 day Nile River cruise with our guide Mehut. The optional evening sail to see the Nubai Village with him was very interesting, not to mention the amazing hot air balloon ride over the valley of the Kings. Everyday I felt safe as a female solo traveler with the guides. The Nile River cruise is well worth the trip !
