He was very courteous and professional and did an excellent job. He left the kitchen clean after his first visit and when he had finished.

Lorenzo Salemme was appointed to oversee the repairs to my property after a flood, following a long period of delays. Had the insurance company appointed him from the outset, I do not believe it would have taken 18 months to complete repairs to a relatively small single-storey building.
By the time Lorenzo became involved, in November 2025, I was at my wits' end. However, he was a breath of fresh air and quickly got things moving. His communication skills were a welcome relief after so much prevarication beforehand. It was a pleasure to work with someone I could trust to do exactly what he said he would do, and now in June 2026 his involvement in the Insurance claim is at an end and I have nothing but praise for him.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Although work is still in progress so far we have been really impressed with Northdown property services. Alyssia has been lovely to speak to and has kept us updated on times,dates,ordering and everything else that keeps everything on track. I’ve always been able to get hold of her if I needed to check something. Nothing was to much trouble. Thank you Alyssia and I’m sure I’ll speak to you again soon x.
We want to say a massive thank you to Mathew who has almost single handedly put our house back together! From doing ceilings,coving,fitting our new kitchen, tiling the list goes on. He’s been here every day on time . Worked all day. Then tidied up before he leaves.

Northdown gave me 5-star support & service at every turn. They return calls, keep in touch and are terrific to deal with. Every tradesperson is excellent in their field. Mateusz & Mark took such care with my decoration & Steve has years and years of experience on all the tools so you’re confident. Best of all they go above & beyond. It can feel awkward and not much fun having strangers in your home but the NPS team are welcome to pop by for a Coke Zero anytime! Thanks for making a stressful flood a good experience!
We had a leak in house, quite a few problems initially. Work whilst seeming not too bad ended up being quite a hefty task. The kind assistance of Bryce Neal Manager, &
Alex, a very skilled tradesman from Northdown got this work finally completed. There were many phone calls,
all dealt with in a very professional manner. The final works excelled all and indeed I am most grateful for the long tedious hours worked to get everything back on track and completed in a very dedicated manner.

Northdown Home Solutions Ltd is made up of what seems to be a father & son team defrauding people of their money. Al asks you to pay at least 50% upfront for any job & the first few times, he gets things done to earn your trust. Then you start to notice that he employs fraudulent ways & lies to get more money out of you. He'd lie about work that isn't needed and pressure you to do it, saying that you must do it immediatley to avoid big damages. All a lie. You pay him to do a certain type of work and then you will disvocer that he has not done it or that he has used a completely different and very inferior type of materials to do it after making you pay him for the highest quality work. He owes me & a group of people a lot of money. I am pursuing a county court action against him, his son and his company to recover my money and will collaborate with other people he defrauded to report his fraud to the police. Al is a very slippery character. STAY AWAY from his company and from him!
NPS (Northdown Property Services Ltd) did our kitchen refit after a flood. They did it without our seeing the plan. The plan left no room for the dishwasher or fridge.
The plan was done by Scott, the manager at Howdens, Cromer. He had refused to send us the plan, on the basis that we were “not the client”: the work was in part paid for on insurance. NPS went ahead with the plan Scott sent without checking it themselves and without checking it with us, as promised..
We were forced to make quick decisions to fit the dishwasher and fridge in, ditching units and being left with an ugly gap between fridge and wall.
Scott had managed to include the cooker - but NPS weren’t prepared to install it. We got someone else in.
The last straw is that in two months they have not sent anyone to do the snagging work – one of the cupboard doors has already lost a hinge – and it doesn’t just screw back in (Thank you, though, NPS. for the suggestion}.
We have an unfinished kitchen and a door with only one hinge.
They take payment in full up front. We didn’t help ourselves by asking for an invoice, in preference to just having a figure over the phone.
We have no remedy against Howdens for Scott’s incompetence – the contract is with NPS, because Howdens sell to the trade only. Anyway, Scott doesn’t answer emails (see Trust Pilot review of Howdens, Cromer).
NPS dismissed our complaint.
We had, in turn, fridge, dishwasher and oven with their forever home apparently in the living room bay window, Add in that guests were due to arrive, days with no access to the kitchen, climbing in and out through a window or risk sticking to the kitchen floor, all while preparing for a golden wedding anniversary; altogether a bit of a show-stopper.
Excellent workmen, rubbish customer service. I grudge even one star.
