Rob is an amazing instructor. So chilled and patient. I cannot recommend him enough. I enjoyed going for my lessons, which I cant say for other instructors.

Rob is a fantastic instructor. After failing 4 times in a manual car I decided to try automatic. Rob provides a safe and friendly environment which really puts you at ease. Rob also gave me regular feedback on how I was doing so you know where you stand. I will definitely be recommending no gears to all my friends and family!

Adam is a great instructor. Thanks to him I passed my driving exam at the first attempt. Thanks Adam!

A big thanks to Barry at No Gears.. Always accommodating to put me in around my shifts. Barry is a great role model for instructors. I had a couple of bad lessons from previous companies but I so glad I picked Barry at No Gears. He taught me showing true understanding and honesty which is hard to find. I would recommend without a shadow of a doubt.

Huge recommendation for Rob from No Gears if you live in the North East. I passed last week thanks to his patience, encouragement and teaching. I was quite anxious when I started driving with Rob and he put me at ease and helped make me feel more confident behind the wheel. Lessons were fun and relaxed too!

My driving instructor was Barry he was a really nice and polite man. It was my first time learning to drive in a long time . He explained everything to me clearly at all time took to time to help me build up my confidence when driving was always patient with me at all time if I did not understand anything he would explain it to me to make sure I understood. I would highly recommend this company to anyone amazing .🚗😀👍🏾

Firstly, I would just like to thank my driving instructor Ron Richardson, who I’ve been with since June 2019, he is by far the nicest man I have ever met. Put me at ease straight away, isn’t strict and teaches you everything you need to know before going in for your test. I can honestly say I wouldn’t of passed without Ron. Thank you so much for your hard work and having the patience of a saint. If you live in the Liverpool area I would highly recommend taking lessons with Ron.

I passed my driving test today with the help of Carl from no gears. He was an excellent instructor I can’t thank him enough for his help and support throughout my lesson’s. He made ever lesson knowledgable and interesting and put me at ease from the moment I got in the car. Thank you Carl :)

Passed today with Rob being a great instructor. I changed to him from a previous instructor and can say is 100% professional and explained what I was struggling with. If you live in the North East this man is definitely worth a shout to get through your test. I am 1 happy ex pupil now due to him.

Passed my test today all thanks to rob can not fault him very kind, genuine and makes you feel comfortable i was a nervous driver and had a bad experience in the past with a different driving school but rob is an absolute fantastic bloke would highly recommend to everyone I know thank you again rob 👍👍👍

I have achieved something I never dreamt I would at my age but thanks to my instructor Rob at South Shields my life will change beyond recognition.

From having never sat in the drivers seat until earlier this year to passing with 1 minor fault at the age of 48, I couldn't have achieved this without Rob's support. A genuinely nice fella that puts you at ease from the first lesson he is patient and has a great way of getting his learning across.

Rob's personable approach meant that lessons were enjoyable as well as instructive. In addition No Gears were extremely easy to do business with.

If you are thinking about it, do it!! You're never too old.

Being a highly anxious driver, I cannot recommend Dean from 'No gears' in the St Albans area enough. Not only is he a pleasant and interesting person, he made me feel instantly more at ease than I ever thought I would be while driving. After 2.5 months of driving lessons I managed to pass the practical exam at first go. A patient yet clear driving instructor who prepares you both for the test and to drive properly going forward.

Just passed first time with rob burden can not thank him enough from my first lesson he had the patience of a saint lol thank you she much rob x

Rob is just Amazing,he makes learning how to drive soo easy ,if you are reading this ,you have the right Guy ..he’s down to earth and very encouraging....I passed my test today even tho I walked into the centre like a zombie 😂he kept saying “you can do it “which is exactly what kept playing in my head ..I recommend him 1000000 times ..And certainly will miss my lessons.

I Think he deserves an award , Because he is soo good at this ..his Patience is unreal ...

Rob thought me to drive after I was let down by a con man of former instructor I could not recommend him enough very patient and the from my experience he is the best at what he dose I highly recommend him he is friendly honest and fantastic at what he dose
