Check in

Check in time was a slow when you only have a limited time to enjoy the spa.

Massage was amazing! And food delicious.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place, lots of loungers to relax on and different pools to chose from, wonderful food too but the changing rooms need a little more cleaning particularly the toilets, they don’t flush properly and most of them was blocked full of tissue paper so couldn’t be used.
I would come back again in future.

Lovely Spa day but a little pricey

The spa is really lovely. A couple of areas could be improved though, waited a long while to purchase coffee and cake. If you only have 3 hours do not feel its fair to wait more than 30 mins for coffee. Either needs more staff or table/lounger service.
Price is still a bit pricey for what you get.

Great relaxing day

This was my first visit to the spa with my daughter for her birthday We had a great relaxing day The experiences within the spa were relaxing , and rejuvenating It was a great way to unwind and celebrate
The food in the restaurant was very nice , and there was a great choice of options available to suit all One disappointment was the level of service as after we were served our two courses ,the waiting staff asked several other tables if they would like anything else ,except for us . Our table was not cleared , we would have liked to order a dessert and another drink ( we only had one ) and after waiting 20 minutes , we decided to leave
The staff throughout the spa , were friendly , polite , and helpful

Looking forward to our next visit

I attended Nirvana on a Time Out

I attended Nirvana on a Time Out, so 3 hours to enjoy me time. One arrival there was a queue to register, which took approx 10 mins to get to one of the check in desks. Three team members were checking people in. Whilst queuing, I observed cleaning staff come through the reception with both clean and dirty laundry trolleys. People queuing to be checked in were having to move out of the way so the cleaning trollies could come in and out through the reception. I do feel that this really needs to be addressed as most of the laundry comes from the changing rooms, next to the check in desks. I was handed a robe and towel by a lovely Front of House team member. Once checked in, I entered the changing rooms, very clean and as expected not many lockers to house your items, I could only find one locker to use at that time. There was one small private changing room that I could see in the corner of the room. Once changed into my costume, I then moved onto the Colosseum Suite. I found a sun bed and proceeded to the pool. Whilst relaxing in the pool I was interrupted by one of the maintenance team sanding one of the spiral staircases, not my idea of trying to enjoy the tranquillity. I stayed here for a short time and then went to peruse the remainder of the spa, which I did find very relaxing and enjoyable. My 3 hours was coming to an end and proceeded to the changing rooms and showers. On entering the showers, the cubicles were very small, the shower heads were fixed and were spraying in all directions, but at least the water was hot. Apart from, what I feel are bad points mentioned above, the experience was still pleasurable.

the place is lovely but.....

the place is lovely
however they do allowed too many people at the same time, so I was not able to use all facilities which I wanted. Also swimming pool to crowdy.
That was my second time being there and I think it was slightly cooler this time than last time

Relaxing and invigorating

Relaxing, invigorating hydrotherapy and just a lovely way to spend a few hours. One minor suggestion is that the sauna and steam room could be a bit warmer.

Cold and over rated

20 minute queue to get in was not a good start.
Struggled to find a locker in the ladies changing room and the changing rooms were cold (mens and ladies!)
Salad bar was underwhelming based on previois visits.
It felt cold in the new round pool and when getting out it was very cold.
We did like the water massage beds but the room was very cold (we were told it had to be cold or the beds stopped working but it didn't make for a relaxing massage!)
Large jacuzzi pool was good although some jets not working.
Also, £4.50 for 6 bits of bread 😱......won't be rushing back

In regard to the temperature of the spa, we regularly monitor the temperature of our pools and rooms and I've checked on the date of your visit and they were within the parameters we set however I am sorry that they were lower than you would have liked. Our Hydromassage room is kept cool as the jets in the bed warm up very quickly, however, please use the fleece blankets as these will trap the warmth from the bed below and help you feel cosy. Group Spa Evening

A group of us did a evening spa for my birthday.
We all had a lovely friendly welcome on arrival and everything explained to us. Facilities as usual all nice and clean and inviting.
My reason for deducting one star was our dining experience. Our table was booked for 7.15pm, order not taken before about 7.45pm when we had to find someone to take the order. Drinks and plates for the salad bar then took ages to arrive. Second plates for salad bar were not delivered until I had given up waiting and used my first plate again. We had to find someone to take our dessert order and another to top up our water at the table. At no point in the meal, until we left, were we asked if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. Waiting staff were all very pleasant but not as attentive as I've experienced in past visits.
Although it was explained at the time of arrival, charging service charges for delivery of drinks and desserts to our table I found a bit much to be honest.

Overall experience was wonderful

The overall experience was wonderful! Loved all of it and all of the different rooms and pools you could experience. My one and only criticism is the showers in the ladies changing rooms for the day spa. It was a tiny shower head, mostly blocked up which meant there were about 5 tiny jets of water to wash your hair in. Not what I expected after coming out of the most amazing day spa.

Excellent facilities

The facility is incredible, loved the experience. The only downside was waiting times. We waited 10 minutes to be served for a drink and a long time for food service. Also to exit the building we waited another 10 minutes to clock . Other than the wait times the facilities were great and we will return
