Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service ! I’ve placed an order 12 days ago and was counting on it as it had items I was going to use at an important event . Just got an email saying “we’ve received your returns” … what returns ?! I haven’t even received anything, nevermind returning!
Customer service just gave me a lame excuse “sorry , but we had an issue with our curriers, you’ll get a full refund “
I wanted my items not a refund.. all items I wanted are sold out too . Now I have to go panick buy something before the event . What’s the point of online shopping services if they can’t even honour their orders ?!

Avoid for furniture
Follow-up. Order cancelled. Still awaiting refund. In interim guys with a small Van have shown up unannounced….twice…with the chairs. “ we didn’t have your number”. Dodgy. Buy furniture elsewhere.

Possibly the worst customer service…

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve experienced purchased a set of tall draws took the morning off work to receive them on the day they said they would deliver them, delivery guy said and I quote if we can not deliver them ‘would you mind if I throw them in the door way’ they never delivered them, was told it would be rescheduled that was a week ago rang customer service and there to busy to take my call I just want a full refund. Avoid the on line service. Horrendous.

Blanchardstown Dublin

I went to the Next store in Blanchardstown Dublin on Sat 22.03.25 to purchase a suit for my brother who is special needs for his 60th birthday.
Debbie in the store was a godsend as my brother was unable to attend with me. I left the store with a complete outfit head to toe and am delighted with how easy Debbie made the process.

It's not 24 hour delivery

Why advertise 24 hour delivery when it's not this has happened more than once, I purposely bought an item because I was stuck for time and still hasn't arrived. Next used to be fantastic but like the rest of the country not what it used to be.

Long tall Sally Slim black yoga panths B61465

I recently bought long tall sally black pants B61 465. Leg and waist perfect. I would like the tracksuit bottoms to be zet black and not barely black. They last longer in washes if the material is zet black. I would like the material in these trousers to be thicker and warmer to wear in the winter time. I am 5foot 10" and Next is the only place that I can get tracksuit bottoms long enough for me. Excellent customer service and delivery. Thanks.

DON'T ORDER FURNITURE IF IN IRELAND!
I wish I'd read the reviews here before I spent almost a grand on furniture which I now realise I'm never going to receive. I've shopped in Next for years and have never had any issues with deliveries for small items like clothes, shoes or homeware - so I thought I could trust them. How wrong I was. Like everybody else here, I've been repeatedly lied to about delivery dates, been given no tracking number for my order so I can't even ask DPD if they have the item, I've had to chase up my order through multiple chats and emails. I raised a complaint during the week and got a call telling me that the mysterious 'local courier' (presume DPD) would ring me either Thursday or Saturday to arrange delivery of my item on one of the two days. I knew very well I would not hear anything and nothing would come, and I was right. Today I tried a local Next store to see if they could help me. They said there's nothing they can do when the order is done online and worryingly their reaction was like 'never order online, always go through us in store, we don't trust the delivery people they use'! It's insane that the actual staff know the online system is dodge, but not much use telling a customer that after the fact. I really hope I'm able to get my money back.

Avoid awful experience

Ordered an outfit for my son age 8 to 10 years. The wrong size was delivered to my home address . Paod for home delivery. Returned in store and tried to reorder for home delivery and was told id have to pay delivery charges again even tough it was the fault of NEXT. I was given a number to ring, spoke to three people who kept puttimg me on hold i pressed 1 and was told theyd ring me back and never got a call back after being on hold over 20 mins. Horrible experience. Avoid..

Terrible delivery and customer service

Terrible delivery and customer service, I bought a few furniture in December, they delivered in February, one item missing, last minute cancellation for ensamble service, Gisselle in distribution centre is not helpful at all, she booked the service to ensamble whenever she wanted, no asking if I’m available to received , I took 3 times days off before to be there for them and always it was an issue and last minute cancellation again and again, what a joke!! Terrible customer service, she doesn’t listen, she doesn’t give solutions, so disappointed 🤯

Don't believe the promises

Don't believe the next day delivery hype. Ordered a quite expensive bag on 19th February (Track ID: 614725185) for an event on the 21st, now on 23rd of February and not delivered. Stick to Riverisland folks.

Bad quality boys pajamas

I purchased the boys snuggle fit pajamas. Washed at 30, low spin, mostly air dried, sometimes put in dryer at low heat to dry.
They all shrunk. €140 wasted. Expensive for what they were. Can’t even leave a review on the app or website! Disgraceful. I spend a lot of money on Next as well.

This no longer feels like NEXT?

Further delays with delivery of routine clothing order. Customer service still cannot provide me with a delivery date. These are not the standards I am used to from NEXT. Having been a customer since the 1980s, I have years' of past experience with which to compare. I am querying if NEXT's access to other brands has cost customers access to what always felt like a pretty reliable and decent service.

Worst service ever !

Ordered a couch in store and told it would be delivered in two weeks. Received a text from NEXT saying it would be delivered the next day so gave our couch away took the day off work and waited for our new couch to arrive. It never did and still hasn't a week later. I've contacted NEXT customer service a number of times to be told they don't know when it will be delivered. They have asked their courier company for an update and are still waiting for one, again a week later. Bizzarre !! The worst and most frustrating experience I have ever had, ever !

Wrong goods received

Ordered size 10 shoes and received a left size 8 and a right size 10. Returned.
Next order ( no pun intended) I received 1 pair of trousers when I ordered a 3 pack.
Customer service are nice but you have to pay for your reorder while waiting upto 5 working days for a refund.
