Unnecessary aggressiveness to consumers
I just received a “notice of furnishings” from NCS credit in the mail. You can look it up. It’s regarding our home pool & landscaping project. I understand companies trying to protect themselves, however, we already signed a contract w/ the company that stated there could be legal action if not paid. I find a letter such as this to be aggressive and unnecessary.
We’ve never received such a notice. It reads like a them-vs.-us legal action document. We’ve done nothing wrong. In fact, we’re paying cash and have already paid almost 50% (~$50,000 ) without any work or labor/materials being “furnished”.
Also, they’re requesting a “Notice of Project Commencement”. Since they work for the landscape/pool company, shouldn’t they request this? I don’t think we should be providing that.
