This is a balanced review of studying the Proofreading Diploma course with NCC Home Learning.

I signed up to do the Proofreading course a few months ago, and purchased the course online via their website. The price NCC were offering was cheaper than another alternative I was looking at, making them an easy choice to do this course with.
Sign up was easy. Once I'd paid, I was given a login and the course wad added to my login within 24 hours, and I was ready to go.

The onboarding portal to the course is easy to navigate with clear direction. The course material was easy to download, and it was easy to upload my assignments with it too.

The course itself was good. The materials were easy to read and included lots of good examples to demonstrate the teachings. There were 7 units which were good, though I felt the course felt too short and simplistic, as there were elements of proofreading that weren't really covered. I think a couple of extra units would have made the course a bit more comprehensive and better value.

The marking/feedback experience was good. My units were all marked swiftly, pretty much all within a week. I passed each unit first time so I didn't require any feedback in terms of correction, so I can't comment on this, but I was very pleased with the efficient and speedy marking process.

On completion of the course, I was told to email NCC to apply for my certificate. Their response was prompt and I received my certificate in about a month, and I was fully informed through the process while I was waiting for it.

When I signed up to the course, I got an invite to sign up to a student discount subscription service. I didn't use this as the discounts offered didn't appeal to me, but it might appeal to others as it offered a mix of discounts on eating, fashion, entertainment etc.

Overall, very pleased with NCC.

- Minimalist, easy to use website/learning portal
- Enjoyable course, easy to understand with good assignment exercises
- Efficient marking
- Good communication from NCC
- Received my certificate quickly
- Discounted courses for returning customers
- Student discount invite (for those that it appeals to)

Cons:
- Course was a bit short for my taste, could have been more comprehensive/detailed.

Hi, I would really want to request NCC to please make the instalment plan for renewal of the course. I was in NCC student for last one year but due to some personal and financial reasons I couldn’t complete the course but I paid all my course instalments on time But when I emailed Ncc that I want to get extension to finish my course and I am happy to pay the extension FEE then they’ve told me it’s 195. You have to pay advance for 12 months. I would like to request NCC if they can make instalments. I will complete my course as PAYING 60 something every month is not affordable for me if they can help me would be great as a genuinely want to complete. My course. I have done my best AND EVEN EMAILED THEM as well and if you can help me would be great. I would like to request you if you can help me that would be really great
AND AS from the past one year I HAVE PAID ALL INSTALLMENT ON TIME DIDNT USE MUCH OF TUTOR SUPPORT . I haven’t used more support nothing because I did STARTED THIS COURSE thinking that I will get videos AND GET SOME PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE and stuff of that but I didn’t get it but that’s fine because it might be my mistake that I didn’t do a proper research before joining NCC it but if you can help me at this time would be great and I will be forever thankful to you. I hope NCC team will listen. I help me to make that instalment easier for me so I can quickly pay and get into courses

Every penny that you pay is worth it. I have my work book and online tutor that’s a big help for me to read. They guve easy access to the site that you need to visit during your courses.

I have been doing my course through ncc learning and they have been very helpful when i have a question or if i dont fully understand what i need to be doing, i also find that the courses are reasonable price for what they are

The materials are easy to read and explanatory enough.
Website is user friendly, easy to navigate.

The material is good and the feedback from the tutor is really helpful.

The course is very informative and the tutors are wonderful with support. I would highly recommend this course for anyone that is interested in Child Psychology.

I am pleased to share my review of the course that I’m following with the NCC Home Learning. It has provided ample information, detailed explanations, and a wealth of resources to refer to. The comprehensive coverage of the topics has greatly enhanced my understanding and proficiency in the subject.

SO far so good. The course materials are really easy to understand and the process to enrol was smooth. I have used other providers of distance learning but this is the best fit for me so far.

I was unsure about home learning providers in general, but after reading about ncc and the courses they provide along with the assistance given throughout the enrolment process it was clear that they were exactly what I was looking for. The course content is well written and their communication with me has been excellent. This is my first course with them but certainly won’t be my last!
