I’ve just received my order of a Retro Mini Radio and patterned earbuds. Both are absolutely superb! Beautiful, stylish and received two days from ordering! The box was well packaged and secure. I had a query which was answered almost immediately. Darren in Customer Services could not have been more helpful, courteous or swift. A fantastic company to deal with - I’ll be back. Highly recommended by me.

I have had my Monty radio for over 10 years, naturally the cable experienced some wear and tear and broke. I purchased some replacements elsewhere online but they did not work. In the end I thought I'd try customer service at VQ. They responded incredibly fast and offered to send me a replacment cable for free.

I would highly reccomend their products, not just for durability but also for incredible support years down the line!

When I had an issue with my purchase, the customer service was excellent. The advisor responded very quickly and sorted out my enquiry. Each time I’ve contacted them, I’ve received a very quickly reply and I cannot fault their service.

My Monty radio wasn't working. VQ responded very quickly and were able to point out my 'user error'. I'd replaced the main plug in the wrong socket. Senior moment. Before I corrected my mistake they did offer to send a new wall plug if it wasn't working.

Darren responded promptly giving advice as to how to restore my VQ Retro mini sound button- not responding .

Tried all his suggestions (most of which I had previously tried ,also a neighbour had tried the same for me - who is definitely more technically minded than I am .

Sadly nothing worked to restore the problem .Clock working and screen displays the fact I am tuned in to eg Radio 4 or whatever but pressure on button is of no avail in producing any sound .

Hate to ditch my little radio so donating to a nearby 'Repair cafe' as possibly a soldering job after taking back off ?Hopefully they can then donate to someone in need.

Decided this having seen many refurbished VQ radios for sale on E bay after the same problem .
Maybe old style rotating knob button for sound is more reliable ?

Darren kindly offered discount code off another V Q product so will replace my bedside radio soon .

We love our little Retro Mini Radio! It has fantastic sound quality, is incredibly versatile, and is perfect for our needs.

Recently, the power supply unit failed, so I contacted VQ for advice. They immediately arranged to send me a replacement PSU with no hassle whatsoever. Absolutely fantastic customer service!

I bought a Retro Mini which arrived safely this week and well packaged. I received help from Victoria to set it up who was so kind and patient. I wanted a new radio for my bedroom and am delighted with my RM. I chose this radio as I have been so pleased with the Monty which my family gave me as a birthday gift, several years ago. I believed that I had a faulty item and I reached out to customer service for support. They contacted me back immediately with solutions and tips to check if there was a fault and are now sending me a replacement charging cable. The customer service was excellent. Thank you.

I managed to snap my aerial, (my fault), when my radio was about 5 years old. I emailed today to see if they stocked spares and they replied within the hour to say that they’re sending one free of charge. This is top tier customer service for a top tier DAB radio, very impressed.

I emailed VQ because the replacement adapter I bought from Amazon damaged the inside of my Retro Mini radio and I wanted the correct cable to use after it was repaired. I didn’t hear from them for a while but later received an apologetic message explaining that their computer system had been down. However they arranged to send an adapter free of charge, which they did shortly afterwards. Sadly the radio still isn’t working but that’s due to the poor repair I think, which was nothing to do with them. Very happy with their customer support, particularly Victoria.

My retro mini radio, which must be 10 plus years old, stopped working. I emailed the company for advice,as the radio had huge sentimental value. Victoria replied within the hour, and was so helpful and kind. The fixes didn't work, so she arranged for a new aerial and power cable to be sent out free of charge. Sadly, this didn't work either but the customer service was so good - prompt, kind, genuinely wanting to help and not trying to sell anything. Thank you Victoria.

I've been using a Monty radio for bedside alarm and listening for about 3 years, and love it. Nice compact design, great full sound and power. The mains charger has failed, I couldn't see a suitable replacement on their website or a 3rd party one elsewhere so sent them an email. I had an immediate response where they asked for my address so that they could send one out to me free of charge! It was delivered 2 days later. What fantastic customer service, why can't other companies manage this? The small loss they will incur will surely be offset by my recommendation to others. Well done!

Contacted VQ today with a technical query about my Hepburn MkII radio, and not only did I receive two very prompt responses, but the advice was also very sound and they came up with a neat solution that I hadn't even thought of!

I’ve have an old VQ Monty radio and Bluetooth speaker. I’ve been having problems with it switching itself off whilst using Bluetooth so I emailed VQ. Victoria got back to me very quickly and offered various suggestions until a solution was found. She sent out a new power cable and between that and turning the volume down on the radio it seems to have worked so I’m very happy. I love my Monty speaker and it’s used everyday so very happy a problem has been solved. Excellent customer service. Thanks.
