The movers were prompt and professional
The movers were prompt and professional. We ran into some unexpected obstacles with a lot of contractor trucks blocking the access to loading docks, but the movers were able to patiently maneuver the situation and didn’t waste any time!

At the end of 2017 the house we had been building for a year was the victim of arson five days before our closing. Needless to say at that point my condo was filled to the brim with stuff waiting to go in to the new home (luckily I hadn't sold the condo yet). Not wanting to have to deal with playing fort for the time it would take to rebuild I happened upon Myporter and couldn't have been more happy with the experience. They came and picked up all the items and put them in storage while the house was being rebuilt. Then, on our move in day, they arrived on time and put all the items in the new home (they even took one of the dressers upstairs). For the service you receive their pricing is also very competitive compared to standard storage companies. Everyone I dealt with from the initial phone call to the final delivery of my stored items was great. I honestly can't recommend them enough and they actually made a horrible situation a little bit more bearable.
Good option for off-season campus storage
My son at Georgia tech needed wintertime storage for a bike and suitcase when he had opportunity to "study abroad" for spring semester. My Porter was an excellent option- quick, easy, ontime, and no problem when we extended the storage time. The only problem we had was a mistake with the billing- that was a bit of a nuisance but it was corrected with customer service. Would definitely use them again.

My Porter did a great job of collecting and storing my property. Their rates were very reasonable. The only problem was the delivery that was a disaster. First, they arrived on time, but they only brought a couple boxes and told me that's all my property. I told them there is a lot more including furniture. It became an argument when they told me I should have made an inventory when they picked it up which I did. Then they called and found out they forgot to pick up the rest. They later came with the furniture. One of the movers was carrying in my oak dining table by rolling it up the sidewalk, over the grass, up two steps and rolled it in my apartment. Then one of the leafs on my dining room table was missing which I never got replaced

Good Idea, Bad Execution.
When I started using my porter I thought I was getting a great deal, although I was out of area and had to pay extra for the pickup of all my furniture. The guys who pick up and deliver are very careful and take good care of your goods. Because of the amount of furniture I had a large storage space. Then the problems began. I was promised a visual picture list of my furniture, for 6 weeks this never happened and I could not access the written list at all. Then finally they took the pictures and I had access, however all the furniture was wrapped and sealed up just as it was when moved so I couldn't tell what was what. Then I had some furniture delivered to me and they brought the wrong pieces. (This happened every time they brought me something). And of course as I am outside the perimeter I had to pay extra for these deliveries. As I removed furniture from storage I asked twice about moving me to a smaller space to reduce the rent and both times was promised that someone would get back to me, but no one ever did. Then after I finally got all my furniture out of storage, they auto billed my credit card for the storage anyway and I had to call them to get the charges reversed.

The main advantage of My Porter is the degree you cooperate with customers to make their needs happen. It is also very important that you automatically reduce storage charges as I remove items from my unit. I also appreciate your flexibility to deliver items to me upon request.

I would give 10 stars if it was possible. MyPorter is a full-service moving and storage company that helps to remove the stress out of moving process. The staff is super professional, friendly and informative. They have transparent pricing; no small print. I will recommend MyPorter to all who are in need of storage, packing and/or moving.
Competent and hard working folks
The move went very smoothly until the last. There was some damage to a piece of furniture and my hot-tub(guys were inexperienced in moving hot-tubs);however the damage to my tub was not extensive, and the company paid to have my furniture repaired. I would definitely recommend them for your next move.
