I used MyPorter to move a bed and a dresser from Midtown Atlanta to East Point for 9/7/19. I was provided with a quote from Aliyah via email that was $180 total for the move and was given a window of 7-10am that the movers would arrive. Movers arrived around 9am and had the couple of pieces that I needed moved in about an hour total. 2 weeks prior to the move I was told that the deposit was $170, which I paid because it was so close to our move that changing companies would have been a nightmare. After services were completed, $157.50 more came out of my account automatically (which was not discussed at any time during confirmation). I then emailed the company and went back and forth until I just conceded it as a loss. I will say that James and Demetrius(movers) were very professional and were great at their jobs, but the admin piece to all of this was horrible. I will NEVER do business with this company again. Also, if you are thinking about using this company for move/storage, take a look at the responses to negative reviews on Yelp from Jason K....enough said!

Do not use this company. We moved out of our house during a renovation and stored almost everything with MyPorter. The employees who did the pick up were wonderful and careful with our items. However, when a different crew returned everything 10 months later, they were missing one-third of our sectional along with the hardware to put it back together. In addition, practically every piece of furniture was dented. A member of the crew literally dragged a mattress up the stairs by one hand, even after I asked him not to, and damaged our ceiling. They also put a bed together incorrectly, leading to damage on the bed and the wood floor underneath. They also scratched and dented our brand new wood floors and installed our dryer incorrectly, leading to condensation damaging walls and ceilings.

What's worse, the company kept promising us that they were looking for the missing sectional piece and hardware and promised to pay for it if it could not be located. It has been over 3 months since the delivery, and they have stopped responding to emails and calls. The situation is beyond ridiculous and I recommend that everyone avoid working with this company altogether.

PS - Beware of the other reviews. if you look carefully, all of the positive reviews are regarding pickup. The crew pressures you to give them a good review at the end of the pickup (which I did because that crew did a good job). It's how their rating gets so high and dilutes all those who are screwed on the back end.

I would like to say these two gentlemen were Amazing! Very shift and efficient; pure effortlessness.Their personalities were most welcoming and warm. I throughly enjoyed you guys! Awesome Job Nick and Corey!

These young men were very courteous nice pleasant and professional . They did their job in a timely manner and cleaned up after the job.

June 2019: Thanks MyPorter for a job well done. Nickalas and crew displayed the highest in being professional and courteous. Moving can be very stressful and yes I have had my share of Moving Companies. This group of young men assured me that " they got this", and they did. They placed boxes in the assigned area. The only item I have found broke was a wooden handle on an old jar. Last move in Ga., but you better know that I will be referring this company and the Awesome 5 guys.
