I booked to purchase 1 x tyre and, of course the guy insisted I need 4 new ones. I didn’t. I just wanted one to replace the one with a screw in it. He then went on to say I ordered a different profile tyre. I explained I didn’t know what he was talking about (and yes for the record I am female and it should make zero difference). I told him I took a photo of one of existing tyres - read out the numbers to the booking agent -who then ordered the tyre. He then said he didn’t check all the tyres. Why then is he insisting I replace all the tyres if he hadn’t even looked at them all. I booked in to pay $260 and walked out with a bill of $609. It would have been more if I hadn’t got my husband on the phone to talk to them. Completely bodgy. Will never ever go there again.
Note: the actual mechanics look like they work really hard it’s just management that’s dodgy/bodgy.

The service of my BYD was quick and easy. It was the first 5000km, which is free, but I was pleased with the service from mycar.

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I originally had it booked the weekend before and they had to postpone it a week. No big deal, but would have been better on the original date.

I have been a fairly regular customer of My Car.
Unfortunately, the cost of this visit was prohibitive.
I was quoted 3 hours work for a wiper blade replacement, spark plug replacement and change of transmission oil. Probably 1 hours total labour at most. Sure it takes a while for the transmission oil to drain but does the mechanic just wait around while that happens. Surely, the workshop manager would direct the attending mechanic to work on another car while they were waiting.
At $160 per hour- that's expensive. I called my local mechanic, who was too busy to fit my car in and he said he would have charged $180 for the entire job plus parts.

I have been using mycar tyre and auto for over 10 years. There have been ups and downs at times. However this time around I will have to say the worst ever experience. When I first got there to leave my tyre for puncture repair under the care plan. I went to the reception to face this extremely rude and abrupt man. He said his name wad Prince. Later on I found out hos real name was junior. He was chewing gum and wouldn't even make the eye contact. It was Thursday afternoon when I dropped the tyre. He said it can not be done before Saturday. I said to him I am a rideshare driver and that I have a redbook inspection the next day. I asked him if he can do it early tomorrow morning. He said "you don't give me time. I have the authority to give time." I was down on my knees begging him to help with a service that I was entitled to. He said "If I could do it I will otherwise no promises." However I went outside and asked him where was it safe to leave the tyre. He pointed at the office door. He didn't even have the curtsey to come out and help. Me with that. The following day I rang the store and had the pleasure to talk to Fonda. A thorough gentleman. Not only he promised to repair the tyre, he further comforted me by assurance that the tyre will be done this morning. When I went back to pick up the tyre, I spoke to Fonda and he was pleasant as. He replaced my punctured tyre with a new one coz tyre care plan was still under 12 months.

While I was there waiting to take the car, I saw Junior/Price on the shop floor. He was constantly yelling and shouting at other mechanics working on the shift.

I didn’t receive a follow up call during the day to advise whether the car required any additional maintenance, then when I went to pick up the car I asked the person in charge for the summary of the cost of the service and his answer was “pay first then I will show you the summary of the works performed to the car” which was very rude since I’m a customer and I deserve to understand in detail what I’m paying for. Probably I will take the car to another workshop next time, I’m sure there are other workshops where they can service my car and provide me a good customer service. The service on this shop was terrible.

Excellent, honest quick service. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that’s not trying to rip you off with unnecessary add on costs. Will definitely be bringing my car here for a service in future.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the recent cancellation of my service appointment, which was scheduled for 12August2024. I was notified of the cancellation just 10 minutes before the appointment, which was incredibly inconvenient and disruptive.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but such short notice left me with no time to make alternative arrangements. I would appreciate it if you could improve your communication process to avoid similar issues in the future.

Adrian is a very good guy

For a regular Service plus wiper blade replacement and air intake service etc I found it to be very expensive with the total coming to $657.00. I’d only driven 3,000 km since my previous Service last year. I will be exploring other Car Service places in future.

Was able to drop my car off at the time agreed, and it was ready at the time advised

The lock nut for the wheel was completely thrashed out by a rattle gun so much so that it has been rendered unuseae.

It has had to be replaced at a cost of $88.

Very disappointing.

I booked my service online for the 3-5pm time slot - then when I rocked up, I was told that there was not sufficient time to do the service and they would only have time for an oil change. They said the online booking system did not match what they actually have in store and they have previously asked the online team to change it, and I had to rebook for the next day. I don’t really appreciate the delegation of fault. They (the store) seemed to know which car I had and my details, I’m wondering why they couldn’t have called me prior to me showing up, and told me there was a mismatch with their online booking system instead of waiting for me to show up in real life during my scheduled service to tell me. Really disappointing.

Having said that though, the service itself was fine but you need to improve your customer service.

Amazing gentleman/manager gave a lot of respect very helpful and gave great advice done my service on my car very greatful
