I had my car serviced, I payed for the full premium service. And on my first drive afterwards my car started overheating. I opened the bonnet and found that the coolant was completely empty. I’m confused as to why the coolant would not have been checked as a part of the premium service

I used to service my Car at Mazda. Since switching to MyCar OysterBay I have never looked back. They do not just service your car, they fix your problem.

Austin at Oyster Bay is great to deal with, thorough, and has good advice.

Booked in for a logbook service, was advertised as FIXED PRICE. I booked to pick up at 1:15pm. After dropping the car off in the morning we were informed that the car would not be ready until 3pm. We usually pick up our child at 3:30pm so this was cutting it close but doable. When my partner arrived to collect the car at 3:30pm (late arrival due to public transport delays) she was told that " I was just about to call you!" Right? Half an hour after the agreed upon pick up time...okay? We were then told that they had done additional work on the car that had not be authorised. We were also told that there was an issue with our brakes that would take an additional 2HOURS! My partner patently waited and when she returned at 5 was told that they didn't have what was needed to complete the job.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Dispite knowing of this issue they still processed to complete and charge us for a pink slip knowing that it would fail just to squeeze another $51 from us.

Way over priced for an oil change and filter. Poster in the office advertised from $249 so I guess you can charge what you like? Add a couple of extra things on that would take no more than 2 minutes and charge over $100 more? Australia the lucky for some country.

The guys checked my car for the $299 service . checked everyting and finished within 2 to 3 hours. honest guys and no issures .

Rob has looked after me & my car for many years, & now the new Manager is carrying on the great service.

I had heard good things about this place; sadly, all of those things had happened under a previous manager.

I booked in for a simple pink slip on a car that had just become 5 years old, the minute I arrived I could tell that the new "replacement" manager was drowning. He seemed flustered and short. Not just with me but with the staff as well.

I waited about 30 minutes before he came inside to tell me I needed 2 new front tyres. After I replaced all 4 just over 6 months ago on a car that hasnt yet done 60,000km.

Sure, ok put them on. Oh, we dont have them. Youll have to come back at 3pm. Sure, no problem.

I returned at 330pm and waited. And Waited. And Waited. While I was waiting I got chatting to a lady opposite me that had just collected her $7500 repaired car which now would only go in reverse only to be told they MAY have bumped something by mistake and were going to hit the gear selector a few times to see if that fixed the problem.

I listened to the new replacement manager tell anyone who would listen over the phone how he had been transferred to this branch and was unimpressed. Which I never would have guessed. He also berated the very friendly apprentice nonstop from the time I arrived, in front of customers, without hesitation.

Once the $250 tyres were fitted, the young apprentice advised my car was ready to go, his boss then scolded him again and told me it wasnt ready because he hadnt completed the inspection yet.

Now, I'm no mechanic but shouldnt the 1st inspection of been completed to make sure there was NOTHING else besides the tyres that needed fixing considering they close at 530? Anyway, he returned and told me the car was fine and ready to go. I asked about the rear brakes (that at both my last 2 services were mentioned as needing replacing soon) and he said they were perfectly fine.

So, at 5pm I left the other lady still waiting for them to finish hitting her poor Jeep with a hammer.

NEVER. AGAIN.

Dropped in to make a booking to get my headlight globe replaced and Rob fixed it up for straight away, no booking needed.

Staff did a great job infomed me of things that needed to be done and how much it would be and was done quickly
