Extremely rude staff, no feedback - take it or leave it attitude.

From Booking to pick up, worst car service experience - not sure why BYD has chosen My Car as the servicing partner?

My car had a minor engine fail and had to be towed off road. After 3 days, 2 x workshops, 1 a dealer, could still not respond with an indicative quote. Remembering Mycar do mechanical work I dropped by my local service centre and had an indicative within 5 minutes. Car towed that afternoon, repaired and back on the road the following day. Compliments to Garrett and his staff for solving my problem with a helpful friendly can do attitude and for keeping me informed as the job progressed.

Excellent service with staff

They were friendly, tried many things, diagnosed the issue, replaced the parts and fixed the running rough problem. We have confidence with the car again.

I recently called Mycar to book in our Mazda which had issues with the seatbelts. I was informed over the phone that they could diagnose the issue and let me know where best to get them sorted if they couldn't fix them themselves. I had been taking my car to mycar for years now and have had mainly positive experiences so felt safe with taking my car there.

Half way through the service I was called and informed that amongst some of the extra work that was required, the seatbelt diagnosis wasn't something they did and that I had to take it to Mazda to get it looked at. I called Mazda and found out that as part of their servicing, which would cost the same for all parts that mycar performed, they could diagnose and fix the issue within the service with extra costs relating to parts.

I spoke with a representative at mycar and told them about the miscommunication and requested some form of compensation of the service fee due to their mistake and now the fact that I have to pay 280 dollars, the same price as the service at mycar, for Mazda to look at the same problem. I wouldn't have taken my car to mycar in the first place, given i had known that they couldn't actually diagnose issues. They told me that they were not willing to reimburse me.

Honest, reliable, expertise and great customer service. Would definitely recommend them.

They are always friendly and helpful. Letting you know the condition of your tyres and brakes.

Went in with a puncture and the guys had me sorted and oit the door in 30 minutes. Great service.

The service center focused more on selling me new tyres than providing service, even wrongly claiming I didn’t have tyre cover. Only after I insisted did they honor my care plan. The new staff were rude, sales-driven, and lacked customer service. After 10 years as a loyal customer, I won’t be returning

Not satisfied with quality of work and follow up.

The website was charging 120,00 less than what the guys were charging at the counter. Even showing it did not make a difference.

I have a sneaky suspicion that I’ve been ripped off a few times here. Absorbent prices, possibly because I’m a young female. Will not be returning.

I was told that the tyre had been repaired, but when we checked, it hadn’t. So we were lied to about that, but still charged, and it wasn’t until my partner noticed that they admitted it hadn’t been repaired. I almost drove 200km down south on an unsafe tyre. They said they’d cancelled all payments but they still haven’t and now I’m having to battle to get the payment cancelled. They’re a nightmare, be very very careful!

Edit: I had contacted Customer Care and the franchise directly, but have had no response and no resolution.
