Shocking.

Didn't want to pay out after they agreed my items had been stolen.
They have been provided with evidence, a crime number, investigating police officer's details and independent accounts which they refuse to investigate.

"although we can validate your claim and agree the items have been stolen we have to decline because there wasn't force entry"

The person has been arrested for copying a key and stealing our items.

Excellent, efficient and quick claim. Friendly team. Easy to do. Even through the lockdown, they were available to answer my questions on the phone which was a great help to someone who has never claimed on insurance before. Also, as it was through the coronavirus lockdown it was even more important that I had the lifeline of the insurance claim and Music Guard did not let me down. Would recommend all day long.

impossible to get your documents, asked so many times to just simply have them sent as an attachment to my email address, instead you have to log in to a vault which constantly tells you, your details are not recognised.

Quote given quickly over the phone and set up straight away and received the copy of the documents via email.

Took 6 months to get a fraction of what I claimed.

Very good service. Had several problems with the computer shop I was using but they were waited and was simple to use.

I had a very unfortunate accident on a gig with a rare vintage one if a kind Selmer MV1 considered by many to be the most sought after saxophone on the planet. Damage was considerable including a severely damaged neck. There are no off the shelf parts and it has to be rebuilt by Karsten Gloger in the Netherlands whom is an expert in this field for vintage saxophone necks. In addition the body had to be repaired in the UK by another tech. Musicguard Insurance has been a 1st class Insurance company in dealing with this complex issue. I am a professional musician and the speed of sorting this claim out demonstrates a really a superior service & really sets them apart from normal Insurance cover.

Do yourself a favour if you have a quality musical Instrument and need 1st class cover I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this company whom understands the needs of the professional musician.

As always make sure you take out the correct cover for your needs.

While the staff are pleasant I’m disappointed this year with the lack of willingness to negotiate any discount for loyalty and no claims. I will be treating this insurance like any other policy from now on by shopping around. The only reason I didn’t is because I left it late thinking there would be room for movement on the premium.
