Lack of care in condition care was received
To begin with, the staff I dealt with personally were polite and friendly. Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and reflected what appears to be poor management and a lack of attention to detail.
Multiple assurances were made throughout the process that were simply not followed through. We were repeatedly told that the car would be properly cleaned prior to collection, yet upon arrival it was evident that this had not been done. There was rubbish left in the back of the vehicle, crumbs throughout the interior, marks that appeared to be dried mucus, and stains that remained despite being specifically raised beforehand.
We were assured that these stains would be removed and that the car had been checked more than once by professionals. However, not only were the stains still present, but we were also informed that the cleaning team refused to do any further work on the vehicle. I find it difficult to understand how a professional cleaning service could overlook such obvious issues or consider the job complete while leaving rubbish and visible marks inside the car.
Similarly, smaller jobs that we had been promised, such as cleaning beneath the indicator lights, were ultimately refused on the day of collection. While these may seem like minor details, they demonstrate a broader lack of care and follow-through.
The entire process felt unnecessarily frustrating, and by the end it seemed as though the priority was simply completing the sale rather than delivering the vehicle in the condition that had been promised. I purchased the car because of its mileage and suitability, not because I expected perfection, but I did expect basic standards to be met and commitments to be honoured.
Had I known that this level of customer care and preparation would be acceptable, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Overall, I am very disappointed with the experience and hope that improvements are made so that future customers receive the standard of service that they are promised

We had to go back the next day to collect the vehicle as it was not taxed. (It was a Sunday)
Amazing from start to finish
Amazing from start to finish. Popped in to “look” at a car I’d seen online arranged a test drive the next day. Fin was a fabulous co pilot on my test drive super chatty and brilliant at his job!
Chris was also absolutely fantastic explained everything to me from start to finish went above and beyond to make sure everything was correct, allowed me time to process the information shared with me and didn’t rush me at all he made sure everything was as it should be arranged for the mot on the car I was buying to be done the next day.
Over all my experience was fabulous I popped out to pick up loo roll on my way back from a test drive but actually came home with a new car and forgot said loo roll!
Would I recommend motorpoint absolutely YES
They gave me time to think there was no hard sell
They allowed me to go off on a test drive no pressure take your time
They explained absolutely everything at each stage
They stuck to price of my online valuation of my car that I was trading
Arranged an MOT on a quick turnaround
Super friendly staff that were more then happy to help everyone I met from reception the sales team and the mechanic teams were amazing
When I purchase my next car motorpoint will be my first port of call in the distant future….I am having far too much fun in the car I purchased to even think about new cars anytime soon 😄 bit when I do I’ll be back at motorpoint

Motorpoint staff made the whole process…
Motorpoint staff made the whole process of part exchange as stress free as it can be.
They were partcularly patient with my customer error on the bank lump sum payment!
This is my third car purchase with Motorpoint and I would happily recommend them to others.

The car I purchased should have been checked over better a few things wrong with it. And paid to have the car moved nearer too me and was promised two keys but one had gone missing and they don't seem to know where it is.all been sorted out now very happy with the customer care and very quickly sorted out happy with the car now.will use motorpoint again.

Glasgow branch is top class
Recently bought a car from the Glasgow branch and my experience could not have been any better.
Jack Lester was amazing throughout the process and made the purchase of my new car so smooth and fast....went in on the Saturday for a test drive and picked the car up on Sunday (needed wee touch ups of paint) which I think is amazing. He kept in touch throughout.
Also branch was very clean and all staff were welcoming.
Would defo recommend and return in the future.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted…
As soon as we arrived we were greeted but not in a pushy way but a "we're here if you need just give us a shout. Looked around for hours and after almost giving up (I'm picky) found the car I really wanted. Asked for a test drive and was given the keys with no one sat in car being pushy. Sold. Got my audi a6 and also had a great experience.

Returning to Motorpoint after previous dealings when buying a car again found the sales staff very friendly honest and helpful, describing exactly my preference he searched all stock filtering and forwarding what he new would suit eventually finding and matching my preference, the price and hand over also went smoothly. 👏
