Nevertheless Declan addressed himself to me and was very patient not getting exasperated by my ignorance.

Cameron at the Ipswich branch was brilliant. Myself and another family were both interested in purchasing a car, he was patient, informative and quick to respond. I had a few issues but they were all dealt with promptly and I am appreciative of the gestures of good will I received.

The representative (Zac)
who dealt with us was friendly, helpful and did an excellent job. Though clearly having to deal with others he did so professionally and we never felt we were not being his focus.
However an earlier phone conversation about a test drive was a much less positive experience ( not with Zac)

Having decided it was time to buy a car I visited Motorpoint for the first time, throughout the process the staff were helpful and made sure that my requirements were met. I did not feel that I was under any pressure to buy. After chosing what make and model of vehicle I wanted and after test driving models at the Ipswich showroom the arrangement to have another spec of the car delivered to Ipswich, where after a test drive it I decided it was the vehicle I wanted. The process for the sale and to arrange collection and payment were hassel free . I would definately use them again in the future.

Ive had an overall decent experience with Motorpoint. Sales wasnt pressured… got a really low mileage car… in excellent condition… traded mine for a decent price… took a few times to get through to get my £250 V5 deposit back… but when i got through it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. So cant grumble. Deffo better experience than main dealers ive had experience of in recent years..

Unfortunately I have brought a car and I have to pay for work on the car already I’ve had the car for 7 months and they can’t provide me with evidence of any service on the car even though I asked about this and was advised that it was logged on the MG website. I’ve spoken to 3 customer service representatives and I am no further forward. I’ve spoken to Ipswich and the manager wasn’t very helpful they have had my money but don’t want to respond to me

Please bear with me as this is quite long, though I have summarised it a little bit.
In October 2024, I decided to get myself a car as a gift to myself after a tough few years with divorce and job upheavals. My son and I after checking out various car dealerships, ended up at MotorPoint. The first car we picked out was the BMW M235i Sport.
We did a test drive, I went crazy for it, but didn't like the colour. Also the car lease to my then car was running out a few weeks later. However it wasn't a deterent.
So, because of the way the Sales assistant was pleasant to us and didn't apply too much pressure, I gave him my word that I'll be coming back to purchase the car, but hopefully in a different colour, which we did on October 13th
So we picked up a beautiful blue coloured 2022 BMW 2 Series M235i. Wonderful! Beautiful! and all the other adjectives one could throw at it. Anyway, then problems began to surface - Maps were still in German, when I turned on the rear window heater it knocked out the radio, when calling via the Bluetooth mobile handsfree, I could hear the person, but they couldn't hear me, the spare key was not configured and on the list went.
Spoke to MotorPoint, they suggested I get it to a BMW dealership as the vehicle still had BMW Warranty on it. I managed to get that arranged for a check up. Suffice to say the end report was very poor for that vehicle and therefore had to have some work done to it.
MotorPoint to their credit, took it on and gave me a courtesy car to use whilst they fixed the problems. However it became frustratingly long and after a nearly 3 months, it became clear there were major issues with the car.
Motorpoint, pulled out all the stops to ensure I got an even better deal, to wipe away the tears of frustration. They got a replacement car, same colour, with newer and higher spec than what I had before; they did all the paperwork to transfer from the former vehicle to the new one; they filled up the tank as I had done so on the previous vehicle. Got the mats transferred. They liaised with the Finance company, and DVLA to get my details transferred over accordingly. All I had to do was the insurance. I am please to say they car is running smoothly, to date.
MotorPoint are AWESOME and I will forever sing their praises for what they did for me. My thanks to Sarah (who's no longer at the company); Zac, Conner, Oliver and Sehran, the manager, for their massive support and welfare on the matter. Guys you are brilliant. You went above and beyond to sort this problem. I will never forget it. In my eyes MotorPoint will forever be recommended by me to all who want to buy a decent car. The service is top notch. Thank you all
