I never leave bad reviews but this place really inconvenienced me and wasted my time. I bought my car in for a valuation I mentioned at the appointment that one of my services was done late and hasn’t been updated on my service history but it’s in the process they said it was fine. On the day I declined the offer they gave me but I was told the price would remain the same if I changed my mind within 2 weeks, I came back literally 2 days later they booked me in for 6 I had to leave work to get there early but then when I got there they told me I had to leave the car over night as it’s too late to do the process now well then why would you give me an appointment for 6?? Anyway I left my car with them the next day they called me and said they’re knocking off about £1000 from the valuation because my service that was late counts as a missed service?? Even though I already mentioned everything when I first came in and was told it was fine. The lady that called me was passive aggressive and seemed like I was inconveniencing her by asking questions or trying to negotiate I once again had to leave work to go get my car back they completely wasted my time

We are sorry to hear the experience you had to sell your car. The process is simple for a valuation if you return the car has to be inspected again. Any inspection for 6pm has to left overnight for the next day. There are no haggling on valuations and if a service was missed then it affects the valuation. We believe that you were given a fair price for your car based on the description you have given us.

A great experience
I found the whole process straight forward, from finding a car on the website to picking it up the next day.
I was very happy with the price I got for my part exchange car.
Maddie at Chingford was excellent, helpful and patient. There was a problem with the service history of the car I purchased, but Maddie sorted this out for me.
This is the second time I have used Motorpoint and can recommend them.
