Circumstances meant it had to go in preperation for a neck surgery. I was expecting a negative experience but this was an easy way to sell my bike. Was offered £3000 and received the full amount. Can't fault the service, experienced and helpful staff made it all as painless as possible. A recommended way to sell your bike.

Very easy way to sell your bike. Staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable I was offered £3250 and excepted £3000 as rear pads needed replacing. The only issue was the time as the company don’t offer a time slot. Other than that very happy with the service after hearing so many negative things online.

The experience was simple A thorough inspection done by a Scott who was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person and is a great ambassador for the company.
Much better than taking a chance on selling private with all the pitfalls that holds.
On the whole happy with the experience and would recommend.

This worked for me, and I got the full valuation price, but the process was annoying at times. After getting the valuation, MBT continuously spammed me with texts emails and calls as I wasn't ready to arrange the collection. During the process I was sent links to enter details, and these rarely worked. That said, they turned up and bought my bike which had no MOT and hadn't been ridden for 2 years. I took the immediate payment option and received the payment before the bike left my drive. I would use them again.

No fuss, all questions answered in full. Very nice friendly person, made me feel at ease immediately.
Didn't get a 5 because of the drop in price when the bike had already been dropped by £600, can't believe you wanted to drop it another £200 just because the service light was on. The bike had done less than 50 miles since the last service, an absolute cheek.

Came to my house as arranged on time, no hassle, no barttering,price agreed was paid straight into account. Great to deal with, can't fault them at all.

Bike collected by “Goldie” yesterday morning very simple transaction and helpful with documentation etc.
Money arrived in my bank account whilst chatting about bikes!!! Good price and highly recommended.
The only mistake his boss made was sending Goldie to Harrogate on the first day of the Yorkshire show - the largest agricultural show in the UK . It gets so busy some of the roads are converted to tidal flow - the traffic in York is always affected 20 miles away !!!

After reading the reviews on here I was worried about selling to them, but the negative reviews couldn't be any further from the truth, the gave me a fair price for my bike, based on the tire kickers and time wasters I had message from on Facebook marketplace and autotrader, this was hassle free the offers I got from people who never turned up was the same as what the bike trader offer me I was 100% honest about the bikes condition they turned up and paid me exactly what they offered didn't try to lowball me or anything

With the state of the used car and bike market it's pointless trying to sell a bike private unless it's dirt cheap I would highly recommend the motorbike trader it was completely stress free and easy

Filled in details. Next day I received an email with an absurdly low "offer". They have been email spamming me ever since. Complete waste of time.

Update: It took them 1 year and 3 months to reply to my review! That's the quality you're looking at with these charlatans.

Absolute and utter waste of time. You put all the details in, agree a provisional price, agree a pick up date. They then state that the transport team will contact you for a time of assessment and pick up then......nothing..... This has now happened twice, same result. Constant mithering by email to sell your bike to them then they just waste everyone's time.

I was selling my bike, a Goldwing and top of the range with just 631 miles on the clock. I told them it was in showroom condition with a few extras thrown in. Bearing in mind that this bike cost me in excess of £33,000 and was only 5 months old. I receive a valuation of £16,000, yes that’s right £16000. Obviously they do not know about bikes. I keep getting texts asking me to go ahead and sell my bike to them. This company is an absolute joke.

This company doesn’t even deserve a 1 star was selling my bike to them went over everything right down to very small details told them bike had after market fairing and so on agreed a price on email and phone guy turn up to collect only for his manager to say they can’t buy it because of aftermarket fairing and not original clock even tho I told them everything and as for not original clock that’s a lie as it is original clock this guy made that assumption even tho he never seen the bike and guy collecting it said it’s exactly how it was described full day wasted absolutely appalling company to deal with bearing in mind they wanted to buy it two year ago in the same condition but for a large reduction in price said No obviously never again and won’t recommend and ps the bike they buy are sold at superbike factory

A really appalling experience dealing with this company. I provided an accurate online description as required. Then confirmed all the points over the phone and agreed a valuation. Had that valuation agreed by an e mail from the company. Representative arrived to to collect the bike, or so I thought, and yet after waiting over 30 minutes with him they declined to buy the bike at any price, let alone that agreed. Total time waters, avoid.

Motorcycle Trader Update None No calls No e-mails thought you were getting back to me my experience with your company is a disgraceful it's now 5 weeks or more since your service engineer inspected my motorcycle Alone and sabotage the gearing have you forget me or is dishonest company not replying after this it's small claims court you will see me at next.
Motorcycle trader we want your motorcycle same company BEWARE of there shameful acts.

Provided acceptable valuation via email and confirmed over the phone. Called to arrange collection time and was told they won’t buy the bike now.

Complete time wasters.

Sold my bike, nice and easy💪

I was looking to sell my 2017 Harley Davidson Sportster XL883N iron. Motorbike Trader seemed to have good reviews, and contacted them, The customer service for me was, very constructive helpful and honest, they gave me a valuation, after some straightforward questions, I gave it some thought, looked at a few more to see how good they were, all were fairly close valuations, So when I went back to Motorbike Trader had a further discussion with Emma, she spoke to her Manager, and they increased there offer.
A date was arranged for them to come and veiw the bike, and on that day (Could not have been colder, plenty of snow and ice), I have forgotten the assessor's name (sorry about that) a young polite chap who also loved Harleys, His assessment was done with diligence and politeness, he did find a couple of things that I'd missed, the outcome was Motorbike Trader were happy to pay me what I wanted for the bike, Motorbike Trader,Co.uk made payment there and then all done very quickly no fuss at all. My experience with dealing with Motorbike Trader was a very positive, they were polite at all times, and are very knowledgeable, passionate about Motorcycles.
If your looking to sell your sled "bike" give them a call, I will give you some advice, do not at anytime lie about the condition of your beloved motorcycle, be as honest as you can, and you will have nothing to fear at all. All I can say is a great thank-you to all staff at Motorbike Trader and giving me a very good deal

I was looking to sell my motorbike so entered the details out of curiosity and was given a fair price in my opinion within a few minutes. Once I had clicked to arrange a collection I had a call the next day and arranged collection for 2 days later. An employee called Goldie came out at the time arranged. He gave the bike a good inspection, agreed with the bike condition I had given and I was paid within seconds at the price agreed. Although sad to see the bike go my selling experience was very good.
